Bestest Parts of 2010

Get ready for picture overload.

MY FAVORITE MEMORIES FROM 2010!!!

Living in Cali for the Summer with Bil Bil.  No work and no school (I am a teacher and Billy is a student at BYU).  It was amazing and we will be doing the same thing this summer.  Beach, run, sleep, eat, run, eat continue.

Weird dancing photo at Olvera Street in LA.  Best taquitos you will ever eat. Ever.

Getting and working on Billy's dream car:)

One year anniversary. This boy deserves a medal for dealing with my craziness this long.

My second marathon.

My third marathon.

Many Vegas trips.

The best salad I have ever eaten at La Sirena Grill in Dana Point, Cali. Seriously, I died and went to heaven.

IMG_1093 3.jpg

Lots of fun times with the nieces and nephews.

California 108.jpg

Hiking, biking, feeding fishies and enjoying the outdoors.

California 142.jpg

Billy's softball games.  Don't worry they took first place in the tournament.  I get really into these games.  Like, I think I embarrass Billy a little with all of my cheering.

And time for some cheesiness....starting this blog and meeting all of my new friends.  You guys have become a huge part of my life and I can't wait to share 2011 with you!!!

What were your bestest parts of 2010?

Hmmm best parts of 2010, new job, new apartment, some awesome hikes, and getting in to distance running. Its been a pretty phenomenal year.

Happy 2011!

My best parts of 2010 were also running my first marathon (not my second and third though!) and celebrating our first wedding anniversary!!

i'm totally jealous that you and your husband get another summer off together. mr. dawn is graduating which means that he has to go back to working full time starting in may...booo!!!

Love all your pictures and your year recap! It's been a really great year for you! My husband would be drooling over that car!

You've had one amazing year Missy!!

The bestest part of 2010 for me was working at the Olympics AND getting to watch all sorts of people win GOLD MEDALS!! It was so amazing and ridiculously inspiring to watch people get what they worked SO HARD for!

Happy New Year!

Your anniversary photo is amazing! So much love between you too, and it just shines out of that picture.

October 9th, 2010 was the best day ever for me--the day I married my best friend. Jason puts up with my SIX bookcases that are stuffed full, and doesn't even complain when I inevitably bring home yet one more book. And never says a word when I "sneak" another bag home from the craft stores.

Another great 2010 moment was when our little Lucy came home. She only weighed 1.2 lbs! I giggle everyday when I see my hubby all dressed in his uniform and looking so tough-guy, then taking time to snuggle-hug a chihuahua before leaving for work. teeheehee

Making the decision to start running, and then completing my first pathetic little walk/jog/shuffle. LOL.

And of course, making new friends on blogger. Bloggies are the best! Its funny that even my technicians at work know better than to bother me in the mornings when they see me eating my yogurt/fruit/cereal combo at my desk and reading everyone's updates. Its become my morning routine!

I didn't hear about the car or the living in CA - that will be fun to hear about in 2011!

Best parts for me: buying a house, running 4 marathons, getting new PRs in the marathon and half marathon, celebrating 2 years with my best friend, learning more about who God made me to be (and who I don't have to try to be), actually starting to LIKE my job!

Finding your blog!!! HA =)
Also, starting to run...good golly, I LOVE running. Nothing really paramount happened this year, didnt have any babies, didnt buy a new car, didnt win the lottery, etc....probably just the fact that God has blessed me with another year to mother my little sweeties =)

Awesome year review!! :) I love that you did your first, second and third marathons this year - that's amazing! And you and Billy are truly the cutest ever. I also love your California summer set-up, I'm a little envious.
I did a year end review too and managed to narrow it down to my top 10...and my first tri topped the list, but it was a close call. 2010 has definitely been my best year yet!
Happy New Year!! :)

Happy New Year! And I plan on cheering you on at Boston this year... I live near 'heartbreak hill' and... I'm not a stalker or anything but we have an extra bedroom + bath so if you need a place to stay so you can save money for fro-yo and gummies, you can count on ME!

Way off the subject, but how long did you go without running and were you able to just get right back to it or did you have to ease into things? I have only been running since July but I think i should take a week or so off due to some shin and ankle pain I have (from running in 7yr old shoes for the past few weeks)....thoughts?

You are just so great about taking pictures and documenting your life with photos! I wish I had done that when I was your age! Shoot, I wish I did a better job of it now that I even know I should! lol

What an awesome year you had!

One of my bests would have to be getting my hip healthy enough to run again... after 8 years. Another would be learning how to make a PIE! Another would be watching my kids grow and evolve and just be!

Love your recap! 3 marathons= awesomeness!

I'd have to say the best part of 2010 for me was running my *first* marathon with Team in Training and raising close to $3,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. And also moving across the country to San Diego with my boyfriend. It was a crazy year!

I look forward to every blog post you write. I secretly dream about being out of college so I can run all those marathons and half marathons. So being able to live those through you is amazing. However, I will probably never be as fast as you, but I still have two more years of division 1 collegiate racing under my belt to experience! Can't wait to see what 2011 brings you :)

I live 5 minutes from La Sirena Grill and the blackened salmon salad is my favorite (and everyone elses fave that I know, you aren't alone)! How they make it THAT good...I really don't know but wow. Drool.
