New Breakfast Buddy

Charlie and I had a romantic breakfast for two this morning.

IMG_3292.jpg

I am a little mad at him....he wouldn't even take a break from his grub to take a picture and he came to eat mine as soon as he was finished.

Now I know how Billy feels.

Honey, I will no longer steal bites from your plate when I am finished with mine and still hungry.  I will now just order/or make two entrees for me for each of my meals.

Win-win.

Workout:

30 Minutes stairclimber.

30 Minutes elliptical

3.85 speedy run with Billy and my brother-in-law that is on the track team.  I am trying to convince him to move to Utah....he is so stinkin fast and so fun to run with.

6.6 minutes too many weights.  I even attempted some push-ups.  Be proud.

What are your plans today?

-We are going to the running store Snail's Pace.....my heaven and then to a fancy seafood restaurant.....my heaven.   Expect me to eat at least 2 lbs. of crab.

Do you have a pet?  Do you like animals?

-I LOVE animals.  I want a dog so bad.  Billy told me as soon as my responsibility sticker chart is filled up (by doing things like not loosing my purse and phone every two seconds) I can get my very own puppy.  It will probably be 5 years.

Charlie is so sweet!
I'm about to head to a sports store here that is having a huge sale on running gear! YESS.
I have 2 dogs. A bloodhound and a pyranees. both rescued. LOVE THEM! I spend atleast 10 minutes a day looking for my keys and have to have someone call me about once a week to help find my phone..does that mean I'm not responsible enough for dogs yet? : )

hahaa I LOVE dogs and wanted one ever since my childhood pet died when I was in high school. I have a black lab now.

I'm getting out of work early today (right now!) woo! So I'm going shopping!

You would eat with the dog! I am so jealous of your gorgeous weather and running. Today I will be snuggling in my bed and napping. I feel like POO and cannot breath out of my nose. This has been ongoing for about 10 days now. So I will think of you having so much fun, while I snuggle with my tissue box!
I sadly enough do not like animals. I never want one. I think they smell and their hair makes my eyes itch. I enjoy looking at other people's animals, just don't want any for myself!
Enjoy your last days of sunshine, the weather here is freezing and nasty!!

So cute!! I hope you get your puppy dog sooner rather than later! So rewarding and they always wag their tail when you come home, unlike husbands! :)

I like Charlie blankie!

I love animals!!!!! All of them! I think we as humans can learn a lot from them!

Yum. Crab.

If I had food that close to my dog, I would have no food. He's a scavenger with an appetite like mine. He's lucky he's cute because it helps diffuse my frustration. Denali is a Siberian husky and he's fabulous. Plus, he's a great running partner. While I'd say I like other animals, I mostly like him though I do make exceptions for some dogs ... and gorillas. I like gorillas.

I have a cat. My kids want horses, hampsters, llamas, goats, lizards, puppies, chinchillas... A cat will do.

That puppy is cute, though :)

I like billy's responsibility chart idea. I think we must share some of the same brain cells (you and I) about the lost stuff!

Yum seafood is my favorite! Enjoy your delicious meal out! I want a dog sooo badly but my husband won't let me since we live in a tiny apartment right now. I try to convince him that we could make it work, but I guess he does have a point! For now I will just have to squeeze in as much time as possible with my parent's dog!

I had a 5 mile tempo run, we're going out to dinner with another couple, but it's snowing and I hate driving in the snow.

I have a Great Dane, named Gloria.. aka Gdog. Love her!!!!!!!!

Billy and I are about to go out on a bike ride! Then we'll probably cook dinner at home and take it easy for our fun New Year's Eve party tomorrow night. Although I kinda wish we were coming to chaperone the dance with you. :)

Well my day is almost over here. And I pretty much just sat on the couch/tried to crochet more. Being on vacation is so nice, going back to work is going to be rough!

My parents have a cat but she is not allowed in the house, so I don't see her much unless I go to the basement and that hasn't been happening lately since I just sit in the recliner all day!

I have a dog and I miss my cat who got eaten. Seriously. By coyotes :-(

The thing about dogs (and I LOVE MY DOG) is that they are a lot of work. At least mine have been. They eat your new furniture, they leave mud splatters on all the walls, they cost major moolah to kennel, they grab your freshly cooked meal when you turn your back, they make your green lawn turn yellow in spots...
but what I've decided is they are definitely worth it.

I've found that my dogs have made me a much less anal person. So what if I go out in public with a dog hair all over me and my house is a disaster of mud and hair? I'm loved unconditionally by someone( or, rather, somedog) and that's a good feeling!

This is the second blog I have read today and hopefully the last until this evening. My plans are to shut the computer and read and learn from a book for a solid hour (at least). I like other people's animals but don't want one of my own But we are probably going to have to get a dog for these little kids of ours...part of childhood I guess...uggh, the responsibility it bring! kids are enough work. You inspire me to do more cross training workouts....do you do this to prevent injury or just because you like cross training?

Today I had to work and then I saw a client after work... the other 2 canceled so now I'm home. I will eat dinner and probably collapse on the couch. Or clean.

I would love to have a dog but the stupid building we live in is a "no dog" building. Moving in March so we plan to get a dog then.

I have been slinking around your website for an hour now... so I should probably introduce myself. Hello, and like so many do in life, I found you through SR. Love your blog. Hate your speed. I admit, I'm jealous. Curious about the Vibrams - did you slowly work your way down to barefoot from trainers? How so? I'm in the process of moving down based on my chiropractor's recommendation. Suggestions would be welcome!

What a cute pooch! We've got two dogs - Lupine and Phin. They've climbed two mountains with us this week, and were rewarded after each with Subway grilled chicken sandwiches. They're starting to think they're human...

And jack russell terriers! I think I need at least 3 dogs. And I think mice are really cute too. And bunnies... When I grow up I will probably live in a menagerie.
Today I tried on my wetsuit for the first time! And that's about all. :P

Responsibility sticker chart-BAAHH!

Why do you ALWAYS get to go out to good places to eat!! Subway or Pizza hut here. Help-I'm trapped-I need Nordstrom's and seafood!!! Still jealous of the Banana Republic jacket in your last post.....

No pets here. We have tried the dog that ate it's own doghouse including the insulation, the cat that used my running shoes as a litter box, the fish (RIP), the turtle who lived in the kitchen in a laundry basket, the robin with the broken wing that actually drew blood on my finger with its beak, the mouse(not really a pet but we did have one once). I think God saw us fit to be only parents of children-they are pretty much animals anyway!

Happy New Year!

I do like animals. I would like a dog, but my family doesn't like animals, and what would I do with the dog when we go down the shore or other places together? Right now I don't have a dog friendly apartment so the idea is shelved for the time being. I often run with shelter dogs though to get my puppy fix!
