Wednesday Wahoo's

Good news P-town Gold's Gym members I am picking up another spin class: Thursday's 6 a.m.  It is going to be a guaranteed good time.

Now on to the good stuff.....

I don't think I can even explain to you how much I love Wahoo's.

IMG_3280.JPG

I literally have dreamt about it.

We are living in Cali this next summer and I am considering getting a job here just so I can sneak in the back during my shifts and eat the cajun seasoned fish with guacamole and pico every 7 minutes.  I haven't told Billy yet but I applied for him to work at Golden Spoon during the summer so that he can bring me home quarts of free ice cream and gummy bears.

Every time we come to S. Cali Billy knows we have to go to Wahoo's.  If we don't he knows that I will be a grump the whole 10 hour drive home telling him that he must not know me because going to this restaurant is a big deal to me.

IMG_3283.JPG

My favorite salad ever.  Cajun fish, pico, guac, cheese and tortilla strips.

We came home and made brownies and watched 18 episodes of Man vs. Food.

Workout Wednesday Morning:

45 minutes stair-climber

45 minutes elliptical (read Dean Karnazes 50 50 book.....see how I do that here).

15 minutes weights.....I was so bored I would have rather been watching golf or sitting in a physics class.

Go wish LAURA @ MEET VIRGINIA a happy Birthday!!!

Have you ever been to Wahoo's Fish Taco's?

-If not. Go. Now.

Do you like the Food Network Channel? What about Man vs. Food?

-Yes and Yes

What was your Wednesday Workout?

I ran 6 miles with a couple of my girlfriends this morning. So glad to be out of the wind...
I don't think I can to the elliptical and read at the same time. I'm just not coordinated enough. : )
I haven't ever been to a Wahoo's but I do LOVE the Food Network!

Never even heard of Wahoo's before, so, nope, never eaten there!

Today I ran 4 miles, intend to do some strength training and yoga.

Love Food Network! But most of the time when I watch Man vs. Food it's one I've already seen.

I'm going to move near you so you can kick my butt in spin.

I went to Wahoo's for the first time last January. LOVED IT! I also love the Food Network and find Man vs. Food to be quite entertaining. No workout yet but maybe a run later!

Never been to wahoo's but I love saying "Wahoo!"

Where in CA are you living this upcoming summer? Very cool! Wahoo!

Having a good book is the ONLY way I can stay entertained on the elliptical.

So fun that you are living in California this summer! Is Billy a teacher too?

I've never been to Wahoo's, although we have one downtown. We recently got a new taco place that is based in Dallas that is pretty awesome. I LOVE fish tacos. Berryhill, based in Houston makes really awesome tacos too. What I need is more access to fish tacos near me!

I like Food Network, although Dan despises it.

My Wednesday workout was a 4 mile run, yeah, wimpy compared to you ;-)

I'm not sure if there's a Wahoo's in Texas but I'd probably love it - that salad looks delicious. I'll have to go look at their website. We watch the Food Network on occasion but Billy is really into the travel channel and national geographic. I did 45 minutes on the elliptical this morning and sweat in my eyes. I thought of you. :)

man v. food is my favorite! sometimes it's too gross to watch and i always feel like I ate whatever he did on the show with none of the tasty benefits, but it's great fun. Plus if you travel you can look up where he went and go to some of the same places. Love it!

My wednesday workout was a doubleheader, 6 miles in the morning and 4 after work.

Never been to Wahoo's but always happy to try something new.
Yes love man v food.
today's work out was 5 miles on treadmill due to darkness and rain out. darkness I weather but with my running bud coming off injury...water=slippery...so today's training run was spent looking out the window of my home gym into the darkness..too bad, not light out yet. my house overlooks a pond...so this morning I just dreamed of it...and pounded it out! I have my first half marathon coming up RnR New orleans Feb 13th! YAY

I watch man vs. food but sometimes it really grosses me out. My Wednesday workout was cut short after 4 miles on the treadmill- I had to get ready to go out to lunch. I've never been to Wahoos but I've been by quite a few, next time I'll make a point to try it out!

oh man i love man vs food. Its weirdly addicting. The last time my sister came to Seattle we did a Twin's vs Food version of the Seattle show. Except we skipped the 12 egg omlette at Beth's diner, because i've been there and the food isn't even all that good at 2am.

But we ate Crab pot, Red mill burgers, and some of my personal favs Portage Bay and Pike Place Chowder.

I also love pico and guac on everything. Case in point my poached egg on an english muffin would be so much better right now with pico and guac. I have none so i'll just pretend

Today's workout = 1 hr+ on the bike while reading and crocheting. Multi-tasking at its best.

There are no wahoos near me :(
I love the food network channel and I am even thinking about buying the iPhone app! lol. Also my MOH got me the Food Network mag for christmas! Yippie! Can't wait for it to come!

I've never been to a Wahoo's or seen the Food Network Channel! We Brits have to survive without this stuff! :P
Wednesday workout was BodyPump and 30 mins on the elliptical. BodyPump successfully confirmed for me that I have absolutely no muscles whatsoever!
You know, I've never been to a spin class before, but you may have inspireed me to give one a go soon...! We'll see ;)

Food network is my favorite channel to watch- and I love Man v. Food!! I watch the back seasons on Netflix. I just really love food- and that salad looks so good, but no Wahoo's up here. I'll have to try and visit somewhere that has one!

I've never been to Wahoo's but we had to study them in a college marketing course... fish tacos were a pretty foreign concept to class full of Calgarians (Calgary, AB, Canada = Cowton = beef-obSESSED)!

whoops, I mean "Cowtown"

My Wednesday workout was running 4 miles in the cold and snow at night! haha it wasn't too terrible. I was happy to run 4 miles because that is my new farthest difference.

I hesitantly say that I do like the food channel network. But I don't usually choose to watch it. My boyfriend loves it, but when he puts it on, I just get jealous of all the good food and hungry.

I've never been to Wahoo's because I live so far! Is it a chain?

I love fish tacos with pico, cilantro and lime. Mmm.

Do you think they would put in a wahoos in Elkton? haha..

my workout was 12 miles with 4@tempo...started at mile 7 :). weights for me today too!

Love this! I just started watching The Food Network...it's dangerous...I love "Chopped" and "Giada at Home" :)

Okay - you and Billie? You look like Kate Beckinsdale (spelling?) and he looks like David Charvet (y'know the guy married to Brooke Burke and used to be on Baywatch)...sigh. Does he have a twin to send?

Never been to Wahoo's or even heard of it, but that picture makes me want to take a trip right now! I love Man vs Food. Good show. You should try to find a good weight class. The time goes by so much quicker and you don't have to think about what you're going to do next. Doing weights by yourself can get old fast and I tend to skip the last set or combine things to make it shorter. I am much better in a class. That being said, it's been months since I've dragged my butt of the bed to get there.

man v. food = yes! josh (my husband) loves that show. i think he wants to be the next host, although you would def give him some competition for it :)
