Drunk on Shrimp and crab

We had a dirty night.

IMG_3326.JPG

But don't worry I was bibbed.

IMG_3308.jpg

and so was Billy but for some reason he thought he was getting a mug shot.

IMG_3310.jpg

I think I ate half the pacific ocean.

IMG_3323.JPG

P.S. I don't know what I am doing with my left hand.  At this point I had lost all motor coordination.

IMG_3354.JPG

There may have been a few shrimp fights.  I know, I am a weirdo but I like life like that.

IMG_3335.JPG

I am pretty sure we laughed throughout the entire meal.

IMG_3325.JPG

Time to wash our clothes and the garlic lemon butter sauce out of my hair.

I don't know if I am going to be able to go back to broccoli and poor people food on Sunday.

IMG_3297.jpg

P.S. I recommend marrying s. cali boys that dress in cardigans, corduroys and Sperry Topsiders.  So hot.

What is your favorite type of seafood?

-Hands down crab.

Are you a messy eater? Do you eat fast or slow?

-I usually spill at least once a day on myself.  Depends on what I am eating.  Food-fast.  Dessert-slow and savor every last bite.

Since this is a running blog too.....what is your favorite race distance?

-Marathon all the way but I could see myself loving ultra's in the future.

Billy's face is hilarious! You look like you had a lot of fun!

I LOVE seafood. But sushi is my fav! Mmmmm rainbow rolls! And I spill everything. I'm a very messy eater!!

Hey, just found your blog through Chelsea at cleaneatingchelsea.com!

Your shrimp feast looks great! My favorite type of seafood is definitely crab! I'm a bit of a messy eater (I blame this on my accident proneness) and I tend to eat fast...too fast! Trying to work on slowing down and savoring more!

Oh Janae, you are so gorgeous! Even with lemon butter sauce in your hair! ;) And I really like Billy's cardigan! Before I became a vegetarian I looooved crab cakes and crab wontons. So unhealthy... yet so delicious!

I am such a slow eater. My family leaves the table long before I am done. It's fine. I sit and enjoy my salad while watching tv. And my favorite running distance? Right now, it's any distance I can manage. Still in the baby stage of working up to a 5K and beyond.

I love sushi and sashimi! And smoked salmon, too. Yummm. The only race I've ever run was a half marathon and I loved that distance! I think I'd really like a 10K, too. But a marathon might be in my future this year. :)

Your meal looks delicious! Seafood is my favorite food - sushi, shrimp, crab, salmon, tuna, I LOVE ALL OF IT. I just don't understand when people say they don't like seafood. My favorite race distance is the one I train for. I love halfs but didn't train well for my last half marathon, so it was a bad experience.

Poor people food, I hear ya! Haha. I love Billy's outfit but I hate seafood, sorry. And I am the slowest eater ever... especially dessert... I am in total agreement with you on that one! And I always pick snacks that take 10 times longer to eat than others, like popcorn!

My favorite seafood has to be scallops. OMG they are good!

oh you dirty dirty girl! hahaha! I love that resto. Been there 4 times this year! Haha! But you know what, I suddenly developed an allergy to shrimp! I hate it! It was my fave. Now I can only eat about 2 pieces. If I eat more, my tummy hurts like hell =(

Happy New Year!!! =)

These pictures made me laugh out loud. Reminds me of how I eat (every day). I am the messiest eater ... ever. It's actually kind of embarrassing when I go to a nice restaurant because the server comes around with that little crumb comb thingie and has to clean up my area several times (and no one else's). :(

I eat fast. Like really fast. I should sign up for an eating contest. I'd probably win, actually. Maybe that's my calling. You should think about it too.

Oh man. I am not a shrimp eater so I'd eat that really really slow and just hope everyone else ate them all first. But I love fish of every kind. I like to savor my desserts as well. Coming home is going to be a shock. And not just because of the food. It's really really really cold. What a fun trip! And I love the mug shot picture!

I am definitely a fast eater.

I NEED to learn how to slow down.

...and to stop eating while standing at the kitchen counter...or in front of the fridge...y'know normal things :0

I kind of miss sea food I won't lie to you. I can't even choose my favorite. I love it all!

I'm very messy and I tend to eat really fast. I've been trying to slow it down though!

I love clams!! Between me and my Uncle we can house a lot of clams! Yummy! Oh and shrimp too! I love me some shrimp! I think we are even having some tonight!

Honestly I think my favorite distance is the 5k. But I ran the 800m in track and even though it is the most painful thing ever (maybe even worse than childbirth - don't know yet) it is amazing when you run well! I guess that goes for any distance! When it all comes together and you just have an amazing race, any distance can be the best!

Happy New Years' Eve!

I love shrimp, lobster, and fish!

I am not usually messy, but I do eat fast.

I have my first race this February! So excited for my year of racing.

Great pictures!! You guys make me laugh!

I can completely picture you taking on ultras!! I'm so new to long distance, I'm not sure what my fav distance is...but if I could, I would like to run 10 miles every day!

Did you wake up with SHRIMP in your hair today!

Lovely fingers Janae! Were they stained afterwards? :) I eat fast...try to slow it down so I eat less but growing up with two brothers, food was fought over and we knew to eat fast or not eat. :) Love the half marathon the best. Um, I like me a big bowl of seafood pasta on the ORegon coast! So yummy.

Looks like a good time!!

Favorite seafood: salmon

I'm a pretty neat eater probably because I eat slow!

My favorite distance: well, I've only done 5ks and half marathons so far but I'll go with the half!

Holy crap, those shrimp look excellent!
I love shrimp and lobster equally. I have to give the love to the lobster because it's pretty much my State's mascot..
I eat wicked slow.
So far, I prefer the 4 mile distance. We'll see if 10K moves to the front after tomorrow!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I love your hands. Totally covered-like way up on your knuckles-hilarious!

I eat fast-I was a waitress WAY too many years! If I'm out with people other than my family, I eat slower. I do have some manners.....

Marathon without a doubt or possibly even an ultramarathon which I haven't run. I think I would enjoy back to back marathons more than a 5K....

Happy New Year!

I actually think half's are my fav distance. I spill all the time, especially when I wear white which is at least 5x week!

I LOVE all shellfish- crab and scallops top the list, but I don't love fish, go figure...

I love Marathons, but my most fun distance is the half Marathon. I don't have to plan too much in advance. I finish the race refreshed but challenged at the same time.
