Round 1 of Race Photos!!!

I don't know how this happened. The first thing I think about when I wake up is my b-fast and lunch (that is after I think how awesome you are Billy;).

I pack my ginormous suitcase (I call it a lunchbox) full of 2 meals and 2 snacks so that I can just grab it and GO in the morning and enjoy my favorite foods at school.

I turned into the parking lot of my school and pure terror hit me.

My lunch was sitting in the fridge, alone and afraid.

I had the car so I couldn't even try and convince Billy to skip his first class to bring it to me.

Luckily, I had emergency oatmeal packets in my drawer for breakfast

and my school offers very good food......the fact is that it costs $3.00 and my lunch sitting in my fridge was not $3.00 and it was a delicious taco salad that I had made with love.

I tried not to like it so that I wouldn't 'accidently' forget my lunch at home in the future and end up spending half of my monthly paycheck on school lunch.

I need to get an ignition interlock that doesn't allow me to start my car in the morning until I confirm that my lunch suitcase is safely sitting next to me in the passenger seat.

AHHHHHHH!!! Thank you so much everyone for sending in pictures of you kicking butt in races, at the gym or after a killer run. You guys are all so amazing and you can still email me at janaenicole_426@hotmail.com with a picture of you along with the link to your blog!!! We will be doing this for a lil' while and I will post in the order of who emailed in first!!!! With all of these pictures I am realizing I have got some HOT bloggy bff's.

Mallory @ SitForYourJob.RunForYourLife sent in this amazing picture of her running the United Healthcare Half Marathon in Newport, RI.

The fabulous BESS @ BessBeFit sent in this race picture. How do you guys looks so good when you are running? Teach me your ways!!!

This is Erin @ SeeMomRunFar finishing her FIRST marathon on Dec. 5, 2010 in Vegas (in 4:15:50!!!) She was hooked and ran another marathon a month later!!! She is running SLC next month and a couple more this year!!! WOW!!!!

Merideth @ RunIsTheNewWalk sent in a picture of her after being sick for three weeks, she was finally able to exercise again. She felt great and did a walking workout and by the end was feeling so strong and her lungs were feeling clear!!!! YOU GO GIRL!!!!!

Charissa @ Glory Running sent in her post-race joking around photo. Her sister's caption for this was, "If I don't beat you, I MIGHT eat you." Charissa....you are my kind of girl, I LOVE it!

Do you pack your lunch everyday? Do you eat at home, at work or do you eat out for lunch?

-Last year the teachers and I would go out to eat a few times a week. My budget did not like that and so now I pack my refrigerator to bring to school every single workday!!!

Do you like baked potatoes?

-Confession: For a good portion of my college life (poor and clueless about nutrition) I had a baked potato with ketchup for every single dinner. I love them.

What is the thing that you forget the most when rushing out the door?

-My shoes. Okay, that only happened twice but what I forget the most is my phone!!!

I do not like potatoes at all unless they are sweet potatoes and even then I dont eat them often. I forget some essential work out gear when I am in a hurry, shoes, ipod, heart rate monitor strap, water bottle.

I take my lunch to school every day. There is a sonic across the street and i could spend my entire paycheck eating there everyday. Not to mention my pants wouldn't fit anymore if i did that...

I work from home so forgetting lunch isn't an issue. I LOOOOOOOVE potatoes, any way I can get them (especially with salsa or broccoli and cheese) and like them as prerace fuel as much as pasta.

I had a laugh today when I made my salad at lunch and thought to myself, "This is a Janae salad!" :)

I definitely pack my lunch every day...but mostly because it is so easy for me to get addicted to "eating out" if I do not.

I also LOVE baked potatoes. Yum. That sounds delicious right now!

When i was going to the gym every morning...I would always forget my brush. Now I am OCD and check my bag 23543256 times before leaving the house. haha.

I pack my lunch every day. We usually cook extra dinner and eat that the next day. Works well on the wallet.

As for leaving stuff behind, my lunch is the most popular one haha. Or work that I brought home to finish... that's always a great feeling when I get to the office haha.

The dining halls on campus are far away from where my grad assistantship (job) is, so I opted out of a meal plan this year. Fortunately, and unfortunately for my wallet, there is an amazing all you can eat dining hall kind of near my office on days I forget it. It's $8 or $9 for lunch...but they have a bakery and multiple soft serve machines in there so it's totally worth it! :)

I forget to put a spoon or fork in my lunch bag when I'm rushing out the door! Good thing we have a kitchen at work, or else I'd be frequently eating my salads with my hands! Haha.

I pack our lunches everyday. Sometimes I will make extra dinner for lunch but most of the time I have the same lunch as a 6th grader. Sandwich, chips, apple, granola bar, chocolate pudding and water. :)

I LOVE baked potatoes. There is a restaurant in Oxford, MS (they have them elsewhere too) that I loved in college called McAlister's and they have the best "spuds" ever.

The thing I forget most often when heading out the door is my planner! Which is horrible because I use it everyday for work meetings!!

I pack breakfast and lunch along with two snacks everyday. I find that it helps my budget too. Alot of other teachers go out so much, I wish I could but I can't afford it. Plus, I spend time on my lunches making yummy salads and pita chips.
Today as I was heading out the door I got all the way to the bottom of my apartment and to my car and realized I grabbed my signifigant others keys instead of mine, grr....
Not a huge fan of bake potatoes, if I eat them I put ketchup on them.

I'm super cool like that. I pack lunch every day because our school lunch is disgusting and forgetting my lunch is my greatest fear. I LOVE baked potatoes!

The race photos are so motivating, but I never look good while running. I end up with some weird face in all the pictures.

I love baked potatoes. Yum. Especially with butter, sour cream, onions, cheese and bacon bits. Sadly, I do not usually eat them with all that stuff on them. That's just how I would LIKE to eat them all the time!

If we forget stuff it is usually kid related. Once we left the house without the diaper bag. How can a fairly experienced mom even consider walking out of the house with a baby but no diaper bag? Thankfully the diaper bag days are behind us.

Yep I pack lunch everyday. Where I work, food is a lot more than $3, so it would definitely add up to buy lunch all the time, plus I'd get sick of the food court options.

And ugh I hate forgetting my phone at home. That's probably my most frequently forgotten item too.

I pack my lunch for school and snack #1 and #2 as well :).

I LOVE baked potatoes. We do a "headlamp run" at our house once a week on Thursday nights during the winter - where our teammates show up with headlamps and a baked potato fixing. We bake the potatoes, go for a run together and then everyone feasts afterwards - it's totally awesome!

What I most often forget when I sail out the door in the AM is to take my iron and multivitamin, meh. I'm working on this problem though.

I always bring my lunch, and most often I forget my phone. Although, when I used to work out at school in the EARLY mornings...I forgot my pants. Three times. I am a slow learner.

Love baked potatoes. Topped with sour cream and mango salsa. Yum yum.

And i always pack my lunch, unless i have lunch plans with friends or something. But i always have snacks. Always! :)

Baked potatos are the best, I don't eat them that often but I always try to have one every couple of weeks, I like mine with cheese and salsa.

Anyway, I usually bring leftovers or a spinach salad topped with grilled chicken. And cottage cheese. I LOOOOVE cottage cheese as my dressing. And fruit. Vegetables/hummus. Luna bars. Edamame. Nuts. You name it, I have it as a snack for work. Oh, and banana chocolate chip muffins.

I forget something for the gym pretty regularly. A few weeks ago it was pants. Hard to run without pants. ;-)

I forgot my lunch once last year, same day I forgot my wallet. I realized when I pulled into the parking lot at work (which is an hour from home) and got so upset because I plan my day by my snacks!
