Wedding Pics Part Dos

Workout:

3 mile run @ 7:30 pace before spin.

Taught 6 a.m. spin class.

3 mile run @ 7:30 pace after spin.

All I have to say about this is that my muscles were screaming from my hill workout yesterday.  I guess that means it was awesome is some twisted way.

---------------------------------------------------------------

Time for a ridiculous amount of pictures again.  If you missed the first recap and you want to waste more of your day reading about my weirdness click here.

Looking at all of these pictures today made me want to get married again (don't worry Billy it would be to you of course). I mean who doesn't love having a whole day dedicated to you getting all dressed up, everyone celebrating you and lots of food?!?! Oh yeah, and marrying your best friend and knowing you get to go on adventures together forever-ever.

First of all, if you are engaged or thinking about the whole wedding thing I totally recommend getting bridals done with your future spouse before the wedding...that way you don't have to stress the whole wedding day about getting enough pics, or if the weather isn't perfect because you already have a bunch of good pictures already:)

bridal -3549.jpeg

Let's get this party started off right with a picture of my gorgeous brides maids.  If you didn't know this yet, I am obsessed with purple, every shade, every day.

Wedding-6769.jpg

Oh, and the groomsmen rocked. But let's focus in on Billster, he is a hot, that is all.

Wedding-6760.jpg

I scored big time in the parents area....4 awesome mom's and dad's:)

Wedding-6366.jpg

I will admit the siblings can be a little strange though.....

Wedding-6384.jpg

At least they produced the cutest/funniest kids ever.....

Wedding-6394.jpg

The best part about my dress was that I felt so comfortable in it....I still wear it around the house after work when I need to relax.  I felt like it really fit my personality.

Wedding-6447.jpg

Come to Utah in the Spring, you won't want to leave.

Wedding-6504.jpg

This red barn was next to our reception site and we loved it.

Wedding-6652.jpgWedding-6673.jpg

Our photographer was amazing and he was so good at being creative and all artistic and stuff.  Thank goodness because I have no idea how to do anything artistic.  (His name is Michael Lloyd, just in case you are a Utahn and need an amazing photographer and a killer deal)

Wedding-6710.jpg

You know we had a candy bar at the reception and I ate at least half of those swedish fish.  I wanted the line to be right in front of the candy but my mom said no, something about people will think it is weird if I am chomping candy while talking to people.

Wedding-6775.jpg

We also had fresh fruit and croissant sandwiches but those are boring so I will show you the ice cream sundae station and the wedding cake!

Wedding-6789.jpg

Wedding-6874.jpg

I am a bad person and accidentally smashed it in his face.  I don't know how he deals with me.

Wedding-6889.jpg

Time for dancing! Sorry for WAY too many pictures but I keep finding more and more.  Don't de-follow me because of this, I already had someone do that yesterday and my heart broke a little.

Wedding-6922.jpg

Wedding-7009.jpg

Yeah, Billy was ready to get on the road:)

Wedding-7046.jpg

Wedding-7120.jpg

Wedding-7127.jpg

We may have gotten lost on our way to the bed and breakfast.  That sucked.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If married, did you have a reception?  Where did you have it?

What food did you have at your wedding?  If you aren't married yet what foods do you WANT to have at your wedding?

-You saw what we had at our Utah reception....We also had an Open House in Cali with a crepe station, chocolate fountain, lemonade station and lots of fruits and veggies.

Random question of the day....What time do you eat lunch at?

-During the week 11:30 and a snack at 1 (when most people are eating lunch) I am pathetic.  On the weekends it depends on what is going down.

Gorgeous pictures!! We had cedar plank salmon, petit filet mignon and chicken stuffed with goat cheese and herbs. And veggies. And salad. And CAKE :)

AH! I am so jealous of all your gorgeous wedding shots of you in your dress! My photographer ended up being really disappointing - he was very uncreative :(

I had a chocolate fountain at my wedding too! We had lots of food stations so people would have to get up and wander around! I hate going to weddings where you feel forced to just sit at a table or dance!

I eat lunch at 11:30 too! (And I have a snack at 9...haha. I barely survive if I dont get a snack!)

So cute! My cousin had a ice cream bar at her wedding to with Ben & Jerry's, it was awesome! That first picture outside is gorgeous!

I usually eat lunch between 12-1, depending on my classes and schedule for the day. I eat breakfast early, so I have to have a snack because I am not going 5 hours without food!

I am looking at all your GORGEOUS pictures with big goofy grin on my face. You two are blessed and look so happy-ever-after!! You are stunning btw. Stunning. The sundae station is pure Janae-genius!

We were married outside in a hotel courtyard with the reception immediately inside the hotel! Very friendly for guests! August in Nebraska can be hot and sticky, but we were absolutly blessed with calm, beautiful weather!

Beautiful pictures- you looked gorgeous, and Billy is hot. Good job, girl! That sundae station is brilliant.

Is it sad that I don't remember what we had exactly at our reception? I know some kind of beef and chicken, but I DO remember their amazing house champagne :)

Random question that I thought of while reading your post (actually I thought of this the other day when I lost 2 followers, but you reminded me)

Why is it that you can get 10 new followers, but still be more concerned that you lost a follower? lol I'm glad it breaks your heart as much as mine :)

I barely had a chance to eat at my wedding - I do remember a chocolate fountain though!

I'm raging hungry by noon so I usually can't wait much longer than that for lunch.

I Love your dress, and the pics next to the red barn are fantastic. So cute thanks for sharing!

Also your cake is gorgeous!

I eat lunch at noon and then sometimes play street fighters with the boys. I suck, but its funny. I'm getting better because now I die but only after inflicting a respectable amount of damage to my opponent.

Somedays I eat lunch at 11! I work at 6 3x a week so those days I am starved by 10:30 unless I have a snack..which I have at 8:30 am. Normal. Otherwise when I don't start until 10 I won't eat until 1:30 or 2..because I don't get dinner until 8! Many snacks are always had.

And that is sad to lose a follower..I just want to gain one!

Most gorgeous bride ever! Love these photos, and you're right - you had a great photographer. And you know I love purple, too. Billy and I got married with just our parents then took off to Europe, so we never really had a reception, but we did eat our way through London, Paris, Switzerland, Italy and Spain! I tend to eat lunch around 1:00PM most days, snack at 4ish, dinner at 7:30PM.

Hubby and I had a 'shot gun' wedding because neither of us could wait to be married to each other =) Started dating in March (already knew each other for a few years), got engaged in August, married in September (10 days after we got engaged) =) If I HAD had a reception, it would have been ALL. ABOUT. the FOOD.

Brekky around 830, lunch around 12:30, dinner around 530 with 2 or 12 snacks thrown in at random times =)

I LOVED our food!! We did stations! We had a mexican station (my fav!), where you got a big ol marg. glass and layered your own stuff in it! Beans, rice, meat, mexican slaw, cheese, salsa's, quac...YUM-O! The other station was a traditional carving station with bread and potatoes! THEN...we had a coldstone style ice cream station...I DIE!!!!

I eat the same thing everyday for lunch...it's boring! A small 50cal tortilla, with turkey lunch meat, laughing cow cheese, pickles and hot sauce. Gala apple and a diet coke on the side! Never gets old!

Great photos!! I love the first one you posted.. so pretty! You were a BEAUTIFUL bride!! I totally agree about getting pictures done beforehand. My hubby and I did pictures before the wedding ceremony. We had a reveal with just the two of us and our photographer. A really special moment for just the two of us to express our emotions/love and let the nerves calm a bit before the ceremony.

We had our reception at an old historic mansion. It was during the afternoon on a June day so it was sunny and perfect. The food at our wedding was more hors d'oeuvres style and a delicious cake. I so would love to live that day again.

And I usually eat lunch between 1 and 2 during the week and whenever on the weekends.

Such beautiful pictures!! I loved them!!! Everyone looks so happy in them.

I eat lunch at 12:30 almost everyday during the week unless I have a meeting scheduled where I have to eat at another time.

Our wedding was a little different. We eloped at a B&B and had a couple family members there. We had an open house back in Illinois where I'm from and then we had an actual reception a few months later in a room rented at a local restaurant. It was great. Passed apps & dessert!

A few months after that we actually got to have a professional photo shoot (for free!) because some people wanted to use us in their advertisements for a wedding magazine! There are some great pics!

You two are SUCH a beautiful couple! Wait, were you serious about putting on your dress now to relax? If so that's a great way to get use out of your wedding dress after the big day.

One day (hopefully sooner rather than later) when I get married I want an entire Fall theme. I want to be inside a barn with spiced apple cider and locally brewed beers, caramel apples, pumpkins, haystacks, all different types of pies, roasted turkey and gravy...I could go on forever. :)

I love your wedding pics. Love the red barn!

We had a morning wedding and a traditional banquet hall reception. I was 22, and I had never been to a wedding before. I did anything my mom said was "normal". If we were to get married again, it would be all different (the wedding celebration ... not the groom!)

I eat lunch at 11:30 too, and then an afternoon snack (also known as my 4th meal) before heading to the gym 5-6.

Reception: yes. There were hors d'euvres when people first arrived, which we sadly missed out on because we were outside getting pictures taken :( And then dinner was buffet, and I can't even tell you what it was, but I know it was good and lots of guests said the food was really good! We made sure to have a good beer offering including a local one we like. Then for cake there were many flavors including carrot cake (yum!!) something that was almondy with buttercream frosting, and a white cake w/raspberry filling w/buttercream frosting.

Question of the Day: Lunch on a weekday is anywhere from 11:30 - 3, depending on the meetings I have, and if I am unexpectedly needed in a classroom because a child (or teacher, ha!) is having some kind of crisis or behavioral problem. :)
Sometimes I break lunch into smaller bits for that reason. I'll have a part of my lunch at 11 in case I am not able to get back to my desk until later in the afternoon.

Beautiful wedding pictures!

We had a coffee bar at ours, because I love coffee.

I have an "appetizer" at 11 (when my co-workers eat lunch) and I eat lunch during my prep at 1. Makes my afternoon go quicker this way. You know how you were talking about food as a reward while running? I think I might use it more as a dangling carrot while teaching. I think it might be the reason I take such pride in what I pack for lunch.

What do you mean by "getting bridals done before the wedding"? I'm curious, I'm in the early stages of planning my wedding and I'm looking for as many ways to keep it simple and easy as I can.

When I was teaching/subbing, I usually ate lunch during the student lunch time (11:20 or 12:15). Now, it's usually around 12:45-1:00.

We had a small ceremony at the home of our very good friends Greg & Kelly. My family lives in PA, and we really aren't close. Greg & Kel have really become my Virginia parents/best friends and just totally take care of me. Love them so much!!

We had a small fruit/little sandwich luncheon to hold peeps over after the ceremony (it was @ 11am) and then a massive Italian dinner at a local restaurant that is owned by our other friends Johnny & HIS Rachel Marie. They gave us the banquet room for free and hooked us up with an amazing wait staff and super yummy food. They even packaged up the wedding cake for us when the party was over so I could take it home and feast for three days on cake. :)

I usually have my lunch around 10:30 or 11 and eat again around 2 or 3. I get mean when I don't have a constant supply of food. Andy who sits across from me has probably thrown candy at me before and told me to shut up and consume the sugar. Ooops. :)

No reception...even our wedding was more than we wanted! But, our parents weren't going to let us run off to the Justice of the Peace. SO, we had a total of us two, both sets of parents, the preacher and his wife, and my brother in attendance! ha!

They had tons of barbecue (that's just how we roll down here-I promise I'm not a redneck!) and a white chocolate cake that was to die for.

Hmmm....I need to get another one of those cakes now that I think about it!

We didn't have a cake at our wedding. We had piles of homemade cookies and ice cream. I didn't think it was a big deal, but Aaron, my husband, would remind me time after time about how we didn't have a wedding cake. I got tired of hearing about it, so for our 10th anniversary, I surprised him with a wedding cake in front of our church (he's the pastor). So we finally got our cake and he's been very happy about it every since then. :)

So you had an ice cream station and a wedding cake??! THAT IS SO LEGIT. Very wise... I like where your heads it. I want cupcakes at my wedding! And maybe scattered gummy bears on every table hehehe

I love seeing wedding pictures! I'll have so many great ideas if I decide to do it again, to the same guy of course.
We had our reception at our favorite local Italian restaurant, and we had ridiculous quantities of the best Italian food ever made. We also had ridiculous amounts of candy, cookies, and cake. Yum.

Beautiful photos! You are just absolutely glowing!

I usually eat lunch between 11:30 and 12:30. I'd eat it at 11 if I knew I wouldn't be hungry again in like another half hour!

Your pics are FABULOUS!!! You and Billy look like you were made for each other! I love it.

Alex and I went to Jamaica for the wedding and reception. It was fabulous. My best friend and her husband were there with us for their 10 year wedding anniversary. I was a bridesmaid at her wedding. It was pretty special.

We had a chocolate cake and as far as food goes...We had a private dinner on the beach by tikki torch. It couldn't have been more perfect!

I love the pics! You were gorgeous. I like how your dress wasn't revealing but also didn't look "up tight". And I am a new follower-- so for that follower you lost there is always someone else who stumbles upon your blog and loves it! I kinda teared up a little on the pic of you with your dad. The way he is looking at you is just so sweet. At my wedding I would want all vegan food and hope that my meat eating guests would at least fake like it for me :-).
I eat lunch around noon. If I burned as many billion calories as you did per day I would be eating around the clock, count on that!

UMM... you are GORGEOUS in those wedding pics! (and in real life, too!). Love wedding/bridals photography. love looking at wedding dresses, hair, flowers, all the gorgeous details... we did our bridals at Thanksgiving point too! I loved that arch/column thing-a-ma-jig.

and... now I'm craving Swedish Fish. :/

is it sad that I think I may go through HungryRunnerGirl withdrawals since I won't have access to the internet while on my cruise? :(

Love the pics. I felt very strongly about not wanting to see my husband (or have him see me in my dress) until I saw him as I walked down the aisle, so we didn't do advance pics together.

Our reception was at a hotel in Italy, something like 12 or 14 courses. All our guests remember is that it was the most food they ever had over a 6 hour spell -- with dancing, toasts, and stuff during that time too.

Janae, you were the most gorgeous bride!! You look soo happy (Billy too) !! Thanks for sharing!! A neat picture would've been you with your running shoes on underneath your beautiful dress!! :)

Our wedding/reception was at the Hyatt Regency, Huntington Beach. We had a carving station,Mexican and Korean food, chocolate fountain (which I think everyone enjoyed the most!)

Usually eat lunch between 12-1p.m.

Have a great evening!! xo :)

LOVE these pictures. the picture post-cake smash is the funniest and cutest picture EVER. that's totally frame-worthy. for our wedding we want good food but not crazy food. we're getting married right near the ocean in massachusetts so we'll be serving a lot of seafood. and I think I want cupcakes instead of a cake. but I haven't decided yet. eep it's only like eight months away. should prooobably decide.

What type of fabric is your wedding dress made from? I love how it's shimmery yet matte, and such a pretty glowy white.
I usually eat lunch between 1PM - 2:30PM! Depending on when I can catch a break from my workload.

Your wedding photography was so much more skilled than mine!

I eat lunch when the baby naps, usually around 1:30/2pm. It's ok because I eat breakfast when she naps, usually around 8:30am. I swear she's awake sometimes :)

LOVE your pics! Tulips are my favorite flower, I am so jealous of that one. As soon as I read about your ice cream sundae bar I immediately opened gmail to email my friend who's wedding I will be a bridesmaid in in May to demand that she have one too.

My reception was at a reception hall, we didn't care about anything except having an awesome playlist, first dance, and cake. Oh, we had a chocolate fountain, huge hit.

I'm a teacher so I eat lunch at 11:30, and snacks when my kids go to special at 225 and after school around 4. I eat a lot.

If I am ever lucky enough to get married to my bff, Starbucks might have to start catering. You know you have an addiction when....
Lately my life has not followed an exact schedule, but usually I eat lunch between 11 & 12. And don't worry, I usually need a snack by 1 or 2 as well :)

I was married in August in Vermont. We had the ceremony and the reception in my mom's backyard. We had a big tent and served BBQ (the caterer came with his smoker truck. it was amazing) and pies for dessert (my husband doesn't like cake).

I eat lunch at noon everyday! I couldn't hold out until 1!

Those pics are amazing. I had hired a great photographer who ended up not being able to do our wedding and sent an assistant who was nowhere near his caliber. It's my one wedding regret...not having better pictures. It's also the one place I tell people not to skimp on the wedding budget.

I have been starving for lunch since 9:45. I eat a snack and try to make the hunger go away. I finally break down and get lunch between 11:30-12:30. Going right now!! Cannot take it!!

Great pictures of a wonderful day! You and Billy look so happy and beautiful!

Love the sundae station and the candy bowl! Beautiful cake, too!

We were so broke when we got married... and decided to do it 6 weeks before the date (though had been together for 3 years... something about some plane tix to Italy and the notion that it would make a good honeymoon if we were married... so, hey, let's just do it!). It was all at my cousins really amazing, huge Tudor-style house. Family only (which was still 50 people). Pot luck... but my cousins gave us a little catering as a gift. And SUSHI... that was the big splurge for us... LOTS of SUSHI!!! My mother-in-law made the cakes... 5 of them arranged in a really lovely stairstepping way... all 5 different so there was everyone's favorite!

I eat lunch anywhere between noon and 3 depending on the day.

your pictures were so great. We actually got married at the Court House. Seeing we were both Chefs and our families were all over the country it just seemed like the easiest thing to do since most people could travel at Holiday times but we were so swamped with work during those times of the year. I don't regret it at all...But do wish I had tons of pictures like you.
