Top 10 ways to party on your birthday.

First of all, HAPPY VALENTINES DAY everyone!!! Eat lots of Chocolate and listen to a lot of love songs!! Billy, get prepared for a gushy cheesy post all about my obsession with you later on today.

How to party on your birthday:

1.  Start the day off with a sweaty treadmill run.  I did the last 10 miles of the Boston course while watching 'Spirit of the Marathon' on one side of my computer screen and the Boston course on the other side of the screen.  I am going to know this course by heart two months from now.  (We moved the treadmill to another room....something about the downstairs neighbors not wanting to hear me run at 5 in the morning so that is why the pictures are missing, I will show you what the new room looks like when we are finished moving everything)

2.  Refuel with the most ginormous batch of roasted veggies and two avocado's worth of guacamole.

IMG_4070.JPG

3,  After you finally shower to show your husband appreciation for all he does for you, enjoy some more of your giant piece of cake. Do not blow dry your hair....that is asking for a little too much effort.

IMG_4075.JPG

4.  Watch a few episodes of 'Pushing Daisies' with the husband and then head on over to church.

5.  Go over to your Mamacita's house for the most amazing lasagna dinner of your life.  Thanks Mom and Dad.  Jello, corn, green beans and garlic bread too!

IMG_4076.JPG

6.  Open fun presents from your family.  My candy cupboard is officially stocked for at least 5 days.  My cute little niece game me a necklace, bracelet and 32 cents with a card that said, "Janae, I love you.  I'm sorry I had to do a small present cause I was running out of time and couldn't go to the store by myself.  Love, Sadey."  She started working on the present Thursday.

IMG_4081.JPG

P.S.  Did you read the previous post about my Boston tickets?  I cried for five minutes straight.

7.  Hang out with your BFF's all night.  Would you like my sis to do a hair and make-up video for the blog? She is professional!

IMG_4091.jpg

8. Request a Sundae bar for dessert.  My Mom went above and beyond all of my expectations.

IMG_4087.JPG

9.  Eat 3 servings of the sundae bar and refill the whipped cream on top every time you run out. (Approximately ever 95 seconds).

IMG_4089.JPG

10.  Crawl into bed by 9:30 because you are so excited to get up and run in the morning.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What is going to make your Monday awesome?

-Running on the treadmill while watching Friends and a HOT DATE AT NIGHT WITH BILLY.  We are going to make dinner together and then see if we can both run on the treadmill at the same time side by side while watching a chick flick and eating swedish fish.

Favorite Italian dish?

-Lasagna (my mom's specifically) with pizza in a close second.

What is your favorite roasted vegetable?

-Broccoli, 100%

That sundae bar looks amaz. I *might* be a little bit jealous.

And I am so glad your mom is keeping up with the Utah tradition of jello on Sundays. And I do believe I see manadarin orange slices in there? A must-have addition. Good job, Janae's momma!

Sounds like the perfect birthday weekend! You have a really amazing family - its so wonderful they all got together to give you so many special gifts and great food!

Fave roasted veg is butternut squash.
Fave Italian Dish would be pizza, and any pasta dish with ricotta cheese!

My Monday is going to be awesome because I came to work early so I can leave early, go for a run, then deliver cookies, cupcakes and brownies I baked to my mom's house and dad's house (along with valentine's cards) and then going home to make dinner with my boyfriend! And then eat a couple pounds of fresh fruit with chocolate fondue for dessert! :)

Happy Valentine's Day

Sounds like an awesome birthday! My monday is going to be awesome because my mom said I can borrow their treadmill all week while they are gone until our new one comes! I don't have to go crazy or freeze running outside again (I need to buy more cold gear!)

My favorite italian is probably baked ziti right now. I just learned how to make it and I can't get enough!

You're kind of famous in my household now. I talk about your accomplishments like you're my child (and I think we are the same age, just about). I keep telling Angela how AMAZING Billy is and what a great husband I just went on and on about how a treadmill is the BEST gift in the whole world. I hope she gets the hint... Hahaha,

My Monday is already awesome. I woke up to find a Valentine in my e-mail that was hilarious and sweet from the guy I like. No complaints here! I just ran 5 miles, and I'm making Valentines with my kiddos today. And then a dinner with the girlfriends tonight :) Should be a great day!!

I'm so happy for you that you got those tickets to BOSTON! I am sooooo excited for you and your adventure ahead!

As far as roasted veggie, I love them all, but I think my favorite would be asparagus.

Roasted veggie? Geeze, I don't think I can pick just one.

PS - I was telling my mom the other day that I couldn't wait to see what you got for birthday....Like I really know you or something! LOL! Happy birthday, lady! So happy you got everything you wanted! You deserve it!

Roasted Veggie - Hmm I don't know. Corn. Ha.

Fave italian food? All of it! Well pesto and pasta veggies, thin proper italian pizza, calzone, ice cream! :)
I love your happy posts :)

What's going to make my Monday awesome? I don't know yet. Just got a call that the gym pool is closed, so no swimming for kids = no gym time for me ... maybe. I need an alternate workout plan. May include quick outdoor run in beautiful 60 degree weather ... if the DH can get home in the daylight. Gave all the little monsters Valentine's - - loved it.

Roasted ... sweet potatoes.

Italian ... veggie lasagna!

And, had to do a double read of your number 3 after reading SUAR this morning

I wanted to let you know, that I stumbled on your blog from a friend's blog (http://caitmanock.blogspot.com/) and have spent my last 3 days reading every update you have written. Now you might think I have no life, but as of now my life is on pause as I tore my ACL skiing. So much for my goal of running a 10K in May! Although I was nowhere near ready to train for a marathon, I am living vicariously (sp?) through your running!! Love your blog!!
