'I Love You.'

After school yesterday I watched the Bachelor, I look forward the whole week to watching crazy girls fight over some loser.  I curled up in a ball and finished off half of a bag of chocolate chips and next thing I knew it  one of the girls told Brad,

'I LOVE YOU."  What did he say back? "Thank you."

IMG_4007.JPG

I was laughing so hard that the girl said I love you first.

And then I remembered.  I was that girl.  I told Billy I loved him first. (Although I am sure he thought it the first time he saw me...obviously)

Sorry for the randomness but I started thinking about it and remembering that a lot of my girlfriends were the first one to say I love you to their husbands.....were you?

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dinner was eaten alone last night as I read my newest "Women's Health" magazine.  Billy was being a grown-up and chose a review session over watching hulu and eating chocolate chips all night long with me.

IMG_4009.JPG

I had french toast with grilled banana in the middle and a few chocolate chips as a garnish:)  I really think that breakfast for dinner is my favorite.  Plus, we have 3.5 different ingredients in our kitchen right now and I am holding off until Thursday to go grocery shopping.

IMG_4011.jpg

After dinner I met up with my homies that I have known since jr. high for ice cream.  Those tropical fruit gummy bears were off the hook, I considered buying a cone full of them after I finished my ice cream.

IMG_4020.JPG

Wednesday=Hills.......I think I will take a picture of me with my beloved/favorite treadmill at the gym....get excited.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Who said I love you first in your relationship or past relationships?  Your hubby/bf/wife/gf???

-I told Billy first.......I was whooped and couldn't hold it in any longer.

Which is your favorite: French toast, pancakes or waffles?

-I think waffles are my favorite because it is socially acceptable to put layers of whipped cream on them for breakfast.  Oh, and those syrupy strawberries make the best belgium waffle topping.

Do you like reality tv?  Do you watch the bachelor.....who do you think is going to win?

-Reality tv is my favorite even though I know it is so fake.  I love Bachelor, The Hills, Kitchen Disasters....you name it, it is the best.

I wasn't the first one to say "I love you" to my fiancée, but one day I knew he was going to say it and was acting kinda strange and I finally told him "Joey you better just go ahead and say it or I'll say it first. And you would hate that." It was the motivation he needed! :)

The story of "I love you" with my husband and me is interesting. My husband declared that he didn't want to tell a girl he loved her until he was engaged to her. I love how old fashioned he is. So long story short, we dated for 4 years, were deeply in love, but the moment he told me he loved me was when he asked me to be his wife. I screamed "I love you, I love you, I love you," about 15 times before saying yes.

French toast all the way. With cinnamon and sugar free syrup. I could eat it every meal of the day.

Reality tv?!?! Yes, Please! Bachelor all the way.... (I hate Michelle!) And I do love American Idol

Breakfast for dinner is the greatest thing ever. My University used to have this thing called midnight breakfast during finals week. It was a free breakfast buffet that started at midnight. It was possibly the greatest study break ever/my favorite on campus activity ever.

I definitely said it first and got no response. He told me a few weeks later in the park right before Summer break. Then we got engaged in that same spot!

Gotta say I don't get the Bachelor thing, many people love it so no judgement here. Shows like that make me openly cringe however I will say that I absolutely love lots of the Bravo shows. Top Chef (any of them), love the Rachel Zoe Project, anything Bethennay related(getting married, excited for ever after), Workout & Thintervention with Jackie Warner, Flipping Out is borderline amazing. So yea I am a sad Bravo groupie.

Why do I feel like I won a contest being the first commenter???

My hubby and I got to that point where it was obvious we felt it but someone needed to grow a pair and put it out there! My roommates finally had an intervention with him after I went to bed and told him to be a man and he told me the next day, haha. It's hard to choose because I am a cereal girl all the way, but probably french toast. The only reality TV I watch is the biggest loser, I am so addicted though!

Brian said I love you first! HA! I thought on the bachelor he couldn't say I love you until the end - I still have not watched that show.

I used to eat french toast before every bball game in high school! I love it with brown sugar and butter!

i watch biggest loser - I have to fast forward though because there are so much random stuff. They could easily fit that show in an hour not two!

I couldn't even write anything to you about the Bachelor yesterday b/c I didn't want to ruin anything for you. I like the Undertaker...aka Shawntel. Isn't it all so great though. I am still not a Brad fan in the least..he actually comes across as awkward to me..he seems to not be able to just relax and talk. Anyhow, I can't wait for next week and Anguilla! I do like other reality TV also...the Hubs and I watch Top Chef and I am not going to lie...I watch all of the Housewives shows...

I am a pancake girl from waaaay back. Oz (the hubs) is NOT a breakfast for dinner guy and it is the one downfall in our relationship. I grew up with pancakes and eggs for dinner...waffle nights, etc.

I think I said the L word first and he followed up with it right after me...
hope the hills go great. I had my 1st track workout last night and I feel like a million bucks. I loved it!

Can I come over for dinner? I love, love, love breakfast for dinner! French toast might be my favorite with pancakes pulling a close second.

I love reality tv, especially the hills and the bachelor.

My fave is definitely blueberry buttermilk pancakes...with lots of butter and syrup of course! I love french toast though..Alton Brown has a great recipe that I just tried.

I loveee reality tv...I'm def a fan of The Hills. If I had more time I'd watch more. Right now I'm watching Pretty Little Liars (yes, I'm a 14 yr old at heart), 90210 (almost like reality tv?), and Glee.

I think Mike said it first, I made him chase after me for a long time!....but is it bad that I honestly can't remember?? Ha oops, don't tell him that. Anyways I tell him about 75 times a day so I make up for it :)
It hard for me to pick which of the 3 of those I like better, but I'm going to have to say pancakes...chocolate chip ones, preferably. or pumpkin. or chocolate chip pumpkin!
Also, I love reality TV and I love watching the bachelor...I have to say, I think one of the Shawntel/Chantals are going to win. I realize Chantal was the crazy one who dropped the L-bomb after a couple dates but, in the land of the bachelor, that stuff gets you wins. I at least liked how she did it when she knew she already had a rose so it wasn't like she was "asking him to do something for her"

I said it first. He didn't say it back right away though. He was sweet about it--told me he didn't want to use words that strong until he knew 100% without a doubt that he meant them. I was cool with that cuz I've had guys use that line when they didn't mean it, so I admired his integrity. So I didn't say it anymore after that first time so he didn't feel pressured or nagged into saying it. It was a couple of months later that he finally said it and it made me so HAPPY to know that it was genuine.

Breakfast for dinner is delicious! Waffles with fruit (and whipped cream of course!) is my favourite.

Never told anyone I love you, other than family and friends. :( Someday, hopefully.

And I hate to admit it but I LOVE reality TV: Survivor, Amazing Race, Biggest Loser... Not a fan of the Bachelor, Bachelorette, or any of those romance type shoes - perhaps I'm just bitter and jaded.

I said I love you first too! I'm such a hopeless romantic, and I fell for him a few months in. And he didn't tell me until 4 years later (funny story)!

I am all about breakfast at any time of the day. Every single one of my fave foods is a breakfast food: eggs, cereal, french toast, waffles, fruit cup, english muffin with pb and b, etc! Your French toast with chocolate chips is my idea of bliss. I am going to make that TONIGHT. French toast is probably my favorite of the above (although I love them all) because it involves cinnamon and eggs! :)

I've never seen any reality tv :O

I was the first to say I love you too! You know what Mike said back? "No one's said that to me before." Super sweet, but he didn't tell me he loved me back for like two more months! Way to make a girl wait!

Jordan "accidentally" told me he loved me over the phone when we had only been dating for a few weeks. I said, "WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?" He was so embarrassed so he tried to act like he was just joking around with me. He told me again for real a few months later. :)

Uhmmm I need that french toast sandwich right now.

I haven't watched previous seasons of The Bachelor, but for some reason I am obsessed right now. My sister is friends with Emily, but she refuses to tell me if she won. Emily works at the hospital I want to work at after I graduate, so I have plans to be her bff. ;) I got antsy and looked up the "supposed" winner on RealitySteve.com. We shall see if it was correct.

Actually, my husband told me first. We had a long distance relationship from the start. He called me one night and blurted out, "I think I'm falling in love with you. Please, just please don't mess with my head, okay?" Our relationship got a whole lot more serious after that because I felt exactly the same way...Except I knew it was him from the moment I met him...For real. I was talking with a friend at work and he walked through the door, we looked at each other and smiled and it's hard to describe, but I felt like I knew him (without even speaking to him) and it was like he had come home from a long trip. I didn't even know his name, but I was overwhelmed with joy to see him. Wow...Sappy. Sorry, but it's the truth.

I am an avid Bachelor fan. Oddly enough, a girl I work with is friends with Ally (the girl with the teeth that got sent home immediately after the date with him because there was no chemistry). Weird.

Husband said it first, three months after we started dating (and just a few weeks before deployment). I was afraid he was just saying it because he was leaving.

I panicked and responded with "Are you crazy? We haven't even had a big fight yet. We should have a knock-down-drag-out fight, you know, the kind where I insult your mom. And you should still love me after that. Are you SURE you should say it now?" Well, he was...which was good because I loved him too. ;) Thank goodness he said it first!

He said it first but I have to admit I was a bit jaded...I married a very patient man. <3 him. I LOVE reality TV and with no hesitation. This is the first season I am watching the Bachelor and I am hooked. Michelle is a nutcase and needs to go...she took a risk sneaking to his room only to nag him. Oh yeah. Men like that one *eye roll* He is totally into Chantal. When she said "I love you" he didnt need to say anything. You could see the big gulp and his eyes well up. My second pick would be Emily but I dont think she is over the fiance and while he likes her his ego wont compete. I havent seen any chemistry with anyone else. RE:Reality TV my other guilty pleasure is Biggest Loser...wish they had brought the old contestants back as trainers though.

Well, I said it first, and he didn't say anything back. It just about killed me! I knew he loved me, but it took him a long time to say it. It took me six months. Panini combo for you~raisin bread, smoked turkey, sharp cheddar, slices of granny smith apples, and curry mayonnaise (1/2 cup of mayo to 1 tbsp curry). Tasty times! The curry is necessary, I don't care for it in anything but this!

I love all the Real Housewife shows. i don't watch them too often but man, I can't even imagine what that would be like. Sometimes I watch the Bachelor, I watched last season but since we moved to NC and my hubby returned from his deployment I don't watch as much TV. I love waffles. When I went to Belgium as a teenager I got a Belgian waffle from this little bakery and it was warm and so good. I've never had one as good since then.

I told him I would not say it until I was ready. Ha ha, that poor boy. Good thing he loved me so much and stuck around. It was all worth it when I said it though.

I love belgian waffles with whip cream and strawberries.

I love reality T.V. Bachelor is my favorite and I think their all crazy crazy. I like Biggest Loser when it gets down to hardly any people. I am a sucker for a lot things, so I won't name them all!

Random question: Are people as weird at your gym as they are at mine? Yesterday, I thought the guy on the treadmill next to me was dying of emphysema he was coughing so much and then he didn't even wipe down his treadmill! Then, I was foam rolling, and some guy next to me doing sit-ups was moaning (like in the about to die way) hardcore with every sit-up he did. It was crazy!

I love all breakfast pastries. Can that be my answer? I never tried whip cream on waffles (don't stop being my friend) until last year when I went out to brunch with the guy I was dating. We ordered a belgian waffle entree as an appetizer (best idea ever) and covered it in butter, real vermont maple syrup and whipped cream. I died. And now I'm hungry.

I am obsessed with reality TV. Top Chef is my absolute favorite.

I so said I love you first too to my hubby! But I didn't get a "thank you", thank goodness! It was quiet & a kiss.

That looks sooo good! Now I'm thinking about breakfast for dinner tonight! I think french toast is my favorite... or pancakes with butterscotch & white chocolate chips!

Top Chef is my absolute favorite! I'm a Real Housewives fan too. Mostly Jersey & Atlanta. Oh the drama!!

This has been fun to read everyone's love stories!

He said it first one night after a baseball game. We were leaving while the fireworks were going off and walking hand in hand when he stopped, turned me to face him and said it! I was a little suprised but said it back after we kissed for a few minutes, haha. We had only been together for about a month but 9 months later and we're still in love :) We just knew.

LOVE ME SOME FRENCH TOAST! I think I'll make some for dinner :)

I don't watch a lot of reality tv but I used to.

I got into a lot of chocolate chips yesterday, too! Billy said I love you first, but I probably almost said it 100 times before then. I knew I loved him pretty quickly!

I love pancakes the most I think, but that's a hard one. There a place near us that has banana bread French toast with whipped cream that is incredible. So rich.

I watch The Bachelor. I'm really not sure who he'll end up with! My mom think Chantel. Billy thinks Emily. I sort of wish it came on twice a week because I hate waiting so long to watch it! (Obsessed.)

1. I definitely told my now husband that I loved him first! I couldn't keep it in ANY longer! Fortunately, he said 'I love you' back, not 'thank you.' That's the kiss of death!

2. French toast all the way. I make a killer one, too.

3. Um, hi. I'm addicted to the Bachelor and pretty much all things reality TV. I can't help myself! It's sooooooo entertaining!

I said 'I love you' to my fiance first. I just about died when you said you were laughing at the girl on the Bachelor for saying it first. Then I saw your punch line :-)

I was laughing, too. Because she said those words to a guy she's known for just a couple of weeks AND that guy is serial dating 8ish women at the same time! That girl is a geek.

I love pancakes, waffles, and french toast, but if I had to choose one, I would go with a stack of 10 gigantic pancakes :-) With maple syrup.

I enjoy some reality tv shows.. the Bachelor, Top Chef, Project Runway, Real Housewives, Biggest Loser (although I feel like the cry waaay too much these days on the BL).

I donno if I like Mr.Bachelor right now, he is kinda on my nerves...but i'm a lover of drama so the show is up on the top of my favorites list!
I haven't told my current BF that i love him yet...but he has told me a few times. <--hmmm sticky situation!

The only reality tv I really watch is What Not to Wear. I don't have time to get involved in a bunch of tv shows. I used to watch more and then I got too far behind.

I was the first to say "I love you". It popped out before I could grab the words and stuff them back in my mouth. Luckily, he did not say "thank you". Yikes!

My husband asked me if I loved him. Over the phone. It was so weird. I'd seen him that day at lunch, then went back to work, and I was driving circles in an airport parking garage going up to look for a space to park to pick up my bro, and I was on the phone w/ hubby (boyfriend at the time) and he asked me. I remember stopping in the middle of the parking lot thinking, I know I love him, but what if I say yes and he says we're moving too fast? I flubbed it a little and said something like, yes, I think I do. And he said something similar. Then he said it in person first a few days later, first time we were alone after my bro flew home.

Love the Bachelor, hope Emily wins but doubt she will... I'd also be okay with Britt, but I also doubt she will.

I'm not a big french toast fan, I'm a waffle or pancake girl. And I don't watch reality TV but if I did I know I would totally get hooked even though I would think it was ridiculously stupid.

I actually can't remember who said it first...6 years is a long time. He did give me a necklace that had my initials engraved and 'I love you' after we'b been dating for exactly 1 month. But to clarify he explained to me that even though we said 'I love you' to each other it only meant 'I love you' as a person, not that 'I'm in love with you'. Let me tell you how great that was to hear when I was 15 years old. But as cheesy as it sounds I'm pretty sure he told me he loved me for real on Valentine's Day.

I always order pancakes when I go out to eat but my gramma and aunt make the best french toast. I basically love anything filled with carbs and covered in sugar.

I like reality Tv but Tv in general has taken a back seat in my life and when I have a free night I catch up on Hulu. I haven't seen The Bachelor in a while but the last time I watched I loved Emily!

Aaand I looove french toast, but I love the texture of pancakes, so I think I've gotta go with them. But I ADORE waffles too (man... that's too hard of a decision).

I do watch the Bachelor... I could see Chantal O. going far... and Emily too, but for some reason, I don't see her winning. Next Bachelorette, perhaps? :) I also found myself praying Michelle's repelling rope was shoddy.

I said it first to my ex-boyfriend and I'll never regret it. Long story short-took my dog (who was like a child to me) to the vet to have her teeth cleaned and she never woke up. They said she wouldn't wake up from the anesthesia. I was devastated and he dropped everything to be there with me and did everything he could to help me get through it. I told him I loved him after that and I did with all my heart.

B's family didnt roll that way so i'm trying to teach them all that i love you doesnt have to be so scary & it can be said no matter what! Sometimes all you need is a little love.

There.... i think your my friend- i love your blog & im pretty sure id love you so.... i think i pretty much love you! ;-) hows that for confessing your love? ;-)

nope, he said it first. in a letter. apparently he had never said it to any of his previous girlfriends even though he'd been in a few fairly serious relationships. so, i think it was almost more stressful for him to say that then it was for him to propose. or at least equally stressful. we were still at the 6 month mark...and i was waiting for a little longer to know for sure...but then he opened the floodgates and we were in a full "i love you" fest.

i love how your mind works and the questions you come up with :)

and the bachelor? why am i so addicted? i have been FOREVER and i keep saying that i'm going to stop...but then a new season starts and i just HAVE to watch. in college there was a group of us that got together to watch it every week. it was AWeSOME!
