HAPPY VALENTINES DAY AND THE WINNER IS.......

First, of all I am a nerd and loved my red shirt today for V-day. I felt cool at school today. I guess it may be time to clean my room and I have puffy cheeks in the morning, that is normal right?!?! Or maybe my ice cream sundae(S) went straight to my cheeks. I guess I shouldn't have had that third bowl and half the whipped cream can.

If you hate my cheesiness and you are sick of me than please skip this post, back to recipes, candy and sweaty workout pictures tomorrow.

Billy, I just wanted to tell you that you are the best thing that has ever happened to me. You make me want to be a better person and to treat everyone around me with kindness the way that you do. You are the most hard-working, fun-loving, compassionate, hot, hilarious person I know. Thank you for putting up with my weirdness and being my number one fan and supporter. I love everything about you!

I do want to talk about something serious......I want to validate the fact that Holiday's are not easy and happy for everyone. Some days we feel lonely and depressed because the fact of the matter is that we are alone sometimes. Believe me, I had plenty of lonely V-day's. I was ALWAYS the girl getting dumped before I met Billy and I spent many nights crying because I felt so alone. Heck, I had a boyfriend that was cheating on me for 2 months before I found out. It take's going through a million losers before you find the good ones:)

Remember that valentines day isn't just about having a bf/gf/wife/husband etc. It is about celebrating love and the blogging community is one of the most loving groups of people I have ever associated with.

So, I guess what I am trying to say is that if you are having a hard day today and you feel alone...will you email me? I am here for you and I would love to be email pen pals. We can be valentines K?!?! I will even send you some chocolate's if you give me your address (sorry if that sounds creepy)!!

My workout is after school today.....we had to move the treadmill to another room because the people below us probably didn't want to hear my pounding feet and Linkin Park at 5 a.m. I will be running my heart out before dinner:)

Totally agree, you sometimes need to kiss a load of frogs before you get to your prince. My pastor told me, (and she is the bestest person ever) that you can let Jesus be your valentine till God brings that special person. It was so cheesy but two days after she said that, I met my husband.

My fav love song is Kiss The Girl from the Little Mermaid. I wlaked out of the church to that song. I love LOVE ACTUALLY.

There are too many to count-The Notebook was good. I don't know. I love love :)

My favourite chick flick...I suppose Notebook. And the funny thing is that there is a couple, friends of my grandfather who had a similar story. The man had Alzheimer and his wife wrote everything in a notebook and was reading it to him. He died in January and his wife 'followed' him one month later. Although I knew the story I never thought it was really romantic until I saw the movie.
So life has great love affairs, we just not notice them sometimes.

I ate chocolate covered fruit and lots of Lindt truffles! I think a few sugar cookies may have slipped in there, too.

I don't decorate for all of the holidays (mostly just Thanksgiving and Christmas) but I DO always buy the holiday m&ms and put them in bowls around my house. I say I'm being festive but my bf says its just another way for me to eat m&ms. He might be right.

I had no candy whatsoever yesterday! Pam 1, Valentine's Day 0! Take THAT Valentine's Day calories!

I put up a Christmas tree, but that is the extent of my holiday decorating. I think my mom burned me out on it when I was little. She decorated for EVERYTHING and not just a little bit!

Hmmm.... favorite chick flick... that's a hard one. Probably The Notebook. Makes me cry every single time. Nights in Rodanthe was really good too.

I ate waaaay too much candy. My mom's a teacher and she's allergic to chocolate so I get it all!

I decorate either for seasons or for holidays. I like doing seasonal decorating because you use flowers and natural stuff and it looks prettier to me.

My favorite chick flick is the SATC movie and Bride Wars because the similarities of me and my best friend to the 2 main characters are uncanny!
