One of the Boys

I tagged along for guys night.  Billy's brothers got together to fulfill their manly needs for meat and watching men in little shorts fight each other in a cage.

IMG_2832.JPG

We went to J-dawgs tonight and the pickles were the best they have ever been.

I have a weird obsession with pickles.  The crunch, the taste and the saltiness makes me melt.

While we were at J-dawgs we watched b-ball on the big screen.

We obviously didn't watch enough sports at the restaurant  so we came home to watch some more.

IMG_2838.JPG

I need girlfriends.  Anyone free to come hang out?

We can go shopping, get fro-yo, talk about boys, go running and give each other pedicures.

With all this manliness going on tonight I feel like I need to burp,  work on a car, eat beef jerky and tell yo mama jokes.

I'll be honest, it was fun hanging out with the boys but for some reason they are scheduling their next boy's hangout for when I have work again. Weird, I don't know why they would do that.  I think I was a good time.

P.S. Have I mentioned my Christmas break has officially started.  School's for fool's.

Do you like pickles?

-My favorite pickles in the world are the ones at Disneyland.  I will be getting one this Christmas break.

Favorite sport to watch on TV?

-I bet you didn't guess it.....Running ha!! I seriously could sit and watch those elite runners all day.  Second, gymnastics and I can't forget tennis.

I love GOING to baseball games, I love the atmosphere.

I'll be on the road all day today......I considered buying an ipad just so that I could read your blogs while Billy drives.  But don't worry I will post sometime along the way using someone's free wi-fi:)

I LIVE on pickles. And pickled stuff, like asparagus, carrots, green beans and eggs! I also eat olives like it is my second job. YUM!

Men are odd people. Sounds like you held up well for testosterone fest oh-ten.

My fav sport is baseball, no contest.

I remember that my girl cousins and I told my boy cousins (when we were about 10) that "Boys and girls just like different things." This was when the boys wanted us to go out in the pouring freezing rain to play with the tractor. Ummm, no. We went and got pedicures instead!

I like the refrigerated Vlasic pickle spears. Yum. Any time I can get a giant pickle at a county fair or Disneyland, it is the best!

We are big football fans around here. That's what is on pretty much every Saturday and Sunday around here. I'm the only girl in this house with a Husband, two little boys, and two boy dogs! Luckily I like sports.

i love watching marathons, gymnastics, football, in that order. too bad football happens to be the most popular, and therefore the most available.

Haha you should've seen what I just wrote (and deleted!) about being your girlfriend! Oh dear, I clearly need some more girlfriends of my own! :P
I've never had a pickle, or anything pickled to be honest...but judging from your rave about them, perhaps I should try one!
Definitely running, then swimming and gymnastics! Although watching gymnnastics always makes me jealous...I wish I could do the things they can! Oh, to be a gymnast...

I'll totally come hangout with you, we can have a big blogger sleepover! Although, you may be too fast to run with.

I've never really watched runners on TV..but for my internship next semester, one of my jobs is confirming elite runners times.

Love Pickles!!

Favorite sports to watch on TV: Soccer, Hockey; This is mostly based on the eye candy (guilty as charged). European Men= Swoon :D

I also enjoy going to baseball games and hockey games and really anything where tailgating is involved.

Enjoy your break! My sis and her husband are both teachers (college and high school) so they are driving in today for a visit - I am so excited!
PS I always hang with the boys because I have six million brothers. They just have to deal. At least I know what's going on when we watch sports: I'm not one of those annoying girls who's like, "Wait, why are they kicking it now? Do they always kick it after a score?" And the guys are all like, it's a touch down moron, not a score.

I highly dislike pickles. I don't know why but I refused to eat them! Also, Netflix has currently taken over my life and I don't think I've watched "real TV" in weeks...I love having no commercials!

I'm spending a full week on vacation with 5 guys...we are going out to CO for snowboarding - they are a ton of fun but I have a feeling I'm going to be the one responsible for the kitchen in our condo!

it's funny to observe "bro-mances". my hubby and his brother hang out all the time and it's just weird how they interact sometimes.*sigh*

i love pickles. and like a previous poster, i love pickled veggies: artichoke hearts, green beans, beets, olives, etc. i used to get olives as christmas gifts when i was little :)

fave sports on tv to watch: gymnastics for sure.

Honestly, I just need more friends in general. This is not a statement begging you to feel sorry for me, just a straight-up fact.

I love pickles. Cinnamon pickles are amazing. Really, I like pickled anything... well, never had pickled eggs, or pickled pig's feet... so we'll say I like that "normal" pickled stuff.

I don't ever watch sports on TV. The last time I watched running on TV (It's been about 2 years) I got SO nervous, like high school track all over again. Gymnastics and figure skating are pretty awesome. Wish my body good move like that...

You are so lucky to be on vacation! Are you off until after New Years? Can I come work at your school instead? Enjoy your car ride...getting an ipad is a great idea. I kind of want one but have no real use for it between my laptop and crackberry :)

Not a pickle fan... at all, like as in if pickle juice gets on anything else, it's pretty much ruined.

I could use some girl friends too. We watch college football, religiously here, then soccer the rest of the year. I love to go to baseball games but not so much to watch on tv.

Enjoy your break. :)

I love boys' stuff. I'm in a fantasy basketball league right now, and although I hate it, I really do love basketball. I don't get to watch it enough :(

I do like pickles, but I overestimated my love for them last school year. I bought a huge Costco jar of them and tried to eat like 5 every day. I got sick of them, OBVIOUSLY.

I love pickles! SO yummy! Especially bread and butter pickles! I do not have many girlfriends either! If only you lived closer (or I lived closer to you!)

My favorite sport to watch on TV is football in the winter. Other than that I don't usually watch sports on tv unless it is the olympics then I DVR that stuff like its going out of style.

No way am I eating a pickle! Ever!

My fave sport to watch is hockey (typical Canadian, wouldn't you say), followed by golf and gymnastics. Golf because it relaxes me and gymnastics because it excites me... and terrifies me. I don't know how I ever flipped around on a balance beam before. Now when I watch other people do it I'm CONVINCED they are going to fall and get hurt!

Oh I am surrounded by testosterone way too much. I have 3 brothers and a husband who only has brothers. I'm the only girl. But luckily, my hubs is a foreigner and we watch a lot of cycling, track, triathlon, etc on TV/internet. He just now is getting into football, haha. I'll come be your girlfriend!! :)

I'm not a fan of pickles plain, but when they are on a sandwich I like them.

There aren't a lot of sports I can sit down and watch, but I love watching running on tv as well!! Those elite athletes ah-maze me!! I also enjoy gymnastics and diving.

I love pickles. Have you ever had fried pickles?? They are my special treat. My husband and I go to a certain restaurant for our dating anniversary just so I can get fried pickles. Awesome.

I love watching any sport in the olympics. I pretty much become miss america herself and beam with USA pride for two straight weeks.

Video games for him, blog reading for me. We give ourselves time limits so we don't waste the day away. I love pickles! Except sweet pickles - they are so gross.

I am also a fan of pepperoncinis, green olives, capers and artichoke hearts.

I put extra pickles on my salads now, which is a new thing for me.

Pickles have replaced banana peppers on my salads now that I've decided they aren't good enough with their "ring shapes" and "hollow middles." :-)

I'll be your long distance friend, since Philadelphia is kinda far away. Like a long distance relationship haha. We can eat froyo via skype (if I ever learn how to use it) and go see chick flicks alone then talk on the phone about them after. Movies are kind of a solo thing anyhow haha.

I do not like pickles. I always wish I did though. Like they smell good, seem tasty, but my taste buds just don't cooperate!

My favorite sport to watch on TV...um football. Definitely. Plus my family and boyfriend love it so if I don't want to be antisocial I must watch too.

Love me some Red Sox at Fenway Park. Miss Fenway. We've had to settle for watching the Red Sox at Camden Yards since our move.

Morning swim meet at the Naval Academy. I am thinking of running the grounds during the kids' warm up session. Should be fun.

How long is the drive from NJ to UT? hahaha

1. I haven't specifically bought pickles in a while, though I will eat the spear that comes with a sandwich. Just last night I was sucked into watching a rerun of the Jersey Shore where Snooki was eating a pickle and getting made fun of for it.

2. Favorite sport: I haven't watched running much before this year, but I watched the entire NYC marathon on tv last month! They make it look so easy to bang out a 5:40 mile. Then 25 more of them. in a row.

I will drop everything to watch the Olympics or the World Cup. I don't mind watching football on tv.

Pickles are seriously one of my favorite foods in the world. I'm in New Orleans now and all the restaurants have fried pickles on the menu. This seems sacrilegious to me. Today I asked for regular pickles, and I got a funny look. Looks like I may be doing without this week.
