Janae has A.D.D.

I really think I might have A.D.D.  Seriously.

You may have noticed I change subjects on the blog every 2 seconds and I run around all day like a mad woman from one thing to the next.

I even teach 6 different subjects at the high school, heaven forbid I teach the same thing twice in one day, I think I would go crazy.

Maybe it isn't A.D.D. but this hyperness and lack of attention that I experience is because I do things like adding a Reece's pb cup to my oatmeal this morning because I was out of pb.

It was delicious, thanks for asking.  Melty pb and chocolate should be incorporated in every meal.

My A.D.D. was once again present during my workout this morning.

I could not do one thing for longer than 10 minutes but I still wanted to get in a sweatastic workout.

10 Minutes Stairclimber Fat Burner Level 17

10 Minutes Elliptical (College years of SBTB doesn't hold a candle to the high school years of Saved by the Bell)

1 Mile on Treadmill in 6:31

10 Minutes Elliptical

1 Mile on Treadmill in 6:14

10 Minutes Elliptical

1 Mile on Treadmill in 5:58

10 Minutes Elliptical

Foam Roll

I did 15 pushups after each time I ran a mile for a total of 45....that is a lot for me, like it is going to hurt to write on the chalkboard today.

I haven't taken any pictures today so I am leaving you with a random picture of me drinking out of a stream.  I told you, ADD.

IMG_0419.JPG

I was thirsty during our traditional nature walk in Sundance. (Every fall I force Billy to go up the canyon and look at dead leaves and talk about feelings and stuff.  He is such a trooper)

How many pushups can you do?  Brag about yourself!! Help motivate me to do more strength-training!

-15 at one time.  A pull-up is out of the question.

-If you don' know try it right now and then tell me.

What are your Friday night plans (or if you are reading this after, what did you do)?

-Billy's bro just came down from Idaho so we can all drive to Cali tomorrow.  I am thinking J-dawgs is bound to happen, them boys like their dawgs.

P.S.  I HAVE THE BEST GIVEAWAY EVER FOR YOU ON MONDAY MORNING.  MAKE SURE TO CHECK BACK!!

Yeah. ADD. me too.

Giiiiirl you know if I had the time and if I was driving myself, I'd be all over meeting up with you. And I KNOW I'd be able to find you. I'd just look at all the frozen yogurt shops in San Clemente.

Before I even read the "If you don't know try it now and tell me" I thought "I better see how many I can do!" I just did 20 in a row. Ouch, I banged my elbow pretty nicely earlier today, so that hurts now.

I was supposed to work, but I guess they don't need two waitresses to wait on one person, so I got called off, so instead I'm foam rolling/tennis balling my hip and working on my personal statements.

I get cardio ADD in the pretty often too. I try to do 16 tricep pushups and then 16 regular, more ab work and repeat the 2 sets of 16.
Friday night plans include going to the gym in a bit, then probably some cheesy Christmas movie. Hope you have a good night!

Drinking out of a stream-ha ha ha!!! Too funny, I just posted about having ADD...

GREAT workout! You are so fast especially doing all that other crap besides!!! If I could run that fast I would NEVER even do even one pushup....I actually like pushups.

I'm back reading your posts here. Love the card from your students. Hilarious! Also, just yesterday I got the comment verification word "heffer". Not quite sure why I found that so funny, but I'm still trying to air out my keyboard from spitting coffee all over it.

Hope you have a great weekend! I AM jealous of San Clemente!

I hate push-ups but I think I hate chin-ups even more! 15 years of gymnastics and I don't think I ever hit double digits, hahaha. Hope you have a great, safe drive tomorrow!!

I can't do a pull up if my life depended on it!
push ups: 10! that's abotu all then my arms fall off...seriously it's a messy situation!

Friday night plans: hot yoga, finish up gift wrapping and eat every cooke in my kitchen ;)

seriously, i'm pretty sure that my treadmill can't even reach those kind of speeds! you are amazing. i'm going to start calling you bolt!

i can't believe that you teach 6 different subjects in school. i only do four and i'm pretty sure its going to be the death of me :)

i totally suck at anything upper body strength related. shaun t. knows this and is using it against me.

just spent friday night with the hubby and my 'rents. cause they're the coolest people i know.

I'll stick to chutarangas instead of push-ups...yoga arm work is so much better!

My night has been yoga and now I'm watching Inception with my mom!

Have fun in Cali! I'm so jealous :)

The hubby and I spent the day Shopping Without A Plan. Capital letters. Disorder and randomness of that level deserves a title. But we had a blast. Tonight we stayed in for movies and I made chicken florentine for dinner with sides of field greens salad and roasted tomatoes. So yummy.

I have a sleeping tot on my lap, otherwise I would totally see how many push ups I could do ...right now. I would be shocked if I hit 20. But, I can absolutely crank out a few pull ups ... I tried at my daughter's gymnastics last week just out of curiosity. Had that "yeah, I still got it" moment afterward (while other parents laughed)
Friday night excitement was cheering at a swim meet. Totally fun. Wish they served beer. My girls did great, and we stopped at a wonderful ice cream store at the way home. Now it's time to watch The Soup.

I got your package in the mail today! :) Thank you! I'll be showing a picture of it tomorrow for sure girl.

I can do about 15 pushups in a row... but then I need a major break!

I can do 20 push ups. Tonight we went to our son's Christmas concert at school, it was fun! then we went to Red Robin for dinner.

Friday night plans include shopping with my girls for presents for a family we have chosen from a giving tree. Later we will wrap and deliver (tomorrow).

Curious, doing elliptical between the mile repeats...tell me about that? Is it to be giving your knee a break from adding running miles in between the miles? When does your official Boston training begin or has it? (I am so behind on blogs)

Thanks for your comment. Glad you like my Christmas cards. ;)

Tonight we went and watched the Tourist!!! Fun stuff! =D

Pushups?? NONE! I suck. I have no upper body strength. Sad, huh?

Hahahaha I love your hyperactivity. It keeps the blog so entertaining. And the random picture of the stream. We are so on the same wavelength.

I can do pushups all day long. I restrain myself because my arms are hulked-out enough already.

One day I did a chin-up in a park in the middle of a long run. I haven't been able to do it since. I'm starting to think I was just dreaming...

I can do five "real" push ups in a row - 15 "girl pushups" with my knees on the ground. I'm getting a haircut tomorrow and working the rest of the weekend.

You are a MACHINE!!! I wish I could be your workout partner--I'd cheer you on for half while I was catching my breath!

I am uploading my pics from Hawaii and getting ready to post again! :)

Okay first of all you are the most hilarious person in the world. You are also a genius for putting Reeses in your oatmeal. So wise. SBTB - Amen. Also one of my fav work out shows. HA I can maybe do 5 push ups. My arms are so weak. Pull ups are out of the question. Must work on this. Tonight my sister and brother in law came into town with my niece and I took them to Marmalade Skies (obviously I would do that). Jordan joined us and we played like 5 rounds of Uno afterwards. If you won you had to do a victory dance. So fun. :) Have fun on your trip. And wahooooo a giveaway! Sorry that this is the longest comment ever. K bye! :)

I spent my Friday night warm on the couch with my hubby watching The Office DVDs. Exciting, right?

I maxed out at 25 pushups a couple nights ago! I tried to do the 100-pushup challenge a couple of months ago, but I lost interest. I suck.

Those are some seriously impressive miles you cranked out this morning!

A deer was giggling watching you drink from the stream he just peed in.

Goodness you are fast. Like. Really. Fast.

You are my hero.

I can do like 30 real pushups, but they hurt, and I hate them after like 10.

Have fun on your mini vacation!!

Holy fast miles, batman! I bow down!

At this point, I can do about ten pushups. And then the backs of my arms plead for mercy and ask what they've done to wrong me, and so I stop and go do some ab work! I will have to WORKOUT BOMB my husband today and try to see how many pushups I can knock out!

At December 18, 2010 at 4:17 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

That's a great idea for when I have exercise ADD - stairmaster, elliptical, and fast miles. I'm using that sometime!

Um, I'm not even sure I can do one real pushup. Hi, my name is Pathetic and I've clearly put all my energy into my running legs.

At December 18, 2010 at 4:33 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

Wheeeee you're speedy!! :D
Erm, well this is embarrassing...I can do about 5 real ones!! :P I'm WEAK okay, I know!!
My Friday night plan was sleeping. It was a wild but awesome night! :)

Haha you make me laugh. It's okay to had ADD. As far as pushups go, I started doing the 100 pushups program a few months ago and for whatever I stopped. But I did get up to 35 in a row before I quit!

Last night we had a Christmas party and took our 1 year old nephew. He was a hit! Tonight we have my Christmas party! We are popular (okay not really, they are for work!).

DRIVE SAFE!

How many pushups??? I'll get back to you

You are so speedy!! And I love your ADD workouts - plus I've heard that keeping your body guessing about what's coming next is totally good for you!! :)
I can do 30 pushups. But I give all the credit to Tony Horton, because before I did the p90x dvds I could do about 5. On my knees. I can do one pullup and I'm pretty proud about it. Even though afterward I can't use my arms or back for hours!
Last night I watched Tron Legacy with my partner in crime :)

At December 18, 2010 at 7:24 AM , Blogger Kimberly said...

I think I did 11 pushups the last time I tried to max out. Such a wimp. Maybe I should do them more often. 15 is pretty awesome!

At December 18, 2010 at 7:29 AM , Blogger Anne said...

Ummm...I can do exactly 1/4 of a push-up.

I went out for sushi and saw Tron Legacy, which was so freaking awesome!

I haven't done pushups in a while, so it's probably not a very good number.

My friday night plans were my husband's christmas party. It was a good time, but all of the older men kept telling Mike that he must be doing well if he has me in a sort of creepy way. Oh well.

At December 18, 2010 at 9:47 AM , Blogger Unknown said...

Amazing workout. I wish we went to the same gym because I always feel like self-conscious running around like a crazy person at the gym. I guess I go to a stuffy gym because everyone there never has a hair out of place and I am always a sweaty beast.

At December 18, 2010 at 10:16 AM , Blogger J said...

I have no idea how many push ups I can do. Maybe like 15 in a row? I hate doing them. They hurt. I can do a pull though! I used to be able to do more when I played bball in college, but now that I am an old fart, Im weaker and can't do as many!

My friday plans were to go out to dinner with Brian and then walk off the huge meal around the mall. Then I went to bed cause I was super tired.

I cannot do even ONE pullup, and I can only do "girl pushups". Sigh.

You live near Sundance? I'm jealous!! Have you ever been to the film fest?

I've been working on push-ups recently and am up to about thirty in one shot. I wish I enjoyed them more...
