Taco Salad

IMG_2780.JPG

I know, I know I spend a lot of time with my family.  I am a mama's girl, what can I say.  I don't feel like growing up for at least five more years and I am by far my parent's favorite child.

My brother from Kentucky is in town, so that means food, ice cream and playing weird games to prove who has the most testosterone in the family.

IMG_2785.jpg

We had taco salad.

IMG_2776.JPG

And Birthday Cake ice cream.  It doesn't get better than that.

The only thing better than this is when my bro-in-law puts ice cream and a cupcake in a blender to make a cup-shake.

IMG_2784.JPG

Oh, and the best thing today: I got a package from LAURA, my bff blogger.  A McDonald's gift card for my ice cream cone addiction, favorite candies and the sweetest card ever.  I want to be her.  She is beautiful, a very talented photographer and decorator and my healthy living example.

2. Don't Go by Dupri- Jumps Heavy Tension

6. Sober by Pink: Max tension and isolations

7. Bleed America by Jimmy Eat World: Sprints

8. Club Can't Handle Me by Flo RIda:  Arm swings (really gets the heart rate up) and superman's

9. Hallelujah by Paramore: Sprints, heavy tension

10. California Gurls by Katy Pery:  Jumps, low tension

11.  Infinity by Guru Josh:  Figure eight, work on each leg separately

12. Like a G6 by Far East Movement:  I don't even remember...I go crazy happy when this song comes on.

13. Hard by Rhianna:  Heavy tension saddle, low tension sprint out of saddle.  Repeat 3 times.

14. I May Know the Word by Natalie Merchant: Cool-down

Say your prayers today (don't worry I took the picture before she started saying the prayer, I am not going to be struck by lightening anytime soon).

She made sure to "bless all the babies in the world" tonight.  She thinks she is a lot older than she is.

How many brothers and sisters to you have?

-I have 3 brothers and 1 sister....I am the baby in the family if you can't tell.

Number one favorite ice-cream.

-Birthday cake and vanilla (so that I can put a wide variety of toppings on top like gummy bears and circus animals)

What is your Thursday work-out?

-I GET TO RUN:)

I've got 4 sisters and 3 brothers and I think 27 nieces and nephews. Seriously. I've lost count.

My Thursday workout was shoveling the snow this morning before work! And running around the bookstore for 8 hours today--fun fun.

Favorite ice cream: strawberry.

I have one sister and ... seven brothers! And I micro-manage their lives, no matter how old we all get.
I'm hard pressed to pick a favorite ice cream, but I am crowding coffee, mint chocolate chip, and pistachio up on the pedestal.

Shout out to the babies in the fam! me too. Two older brothers. One sis in law.

Number one favorite ice-cream.
This is tough. Cake batter and cookie dough. Depends on the mood. Not a chocolate fan. Mine has to have 'stuff' in it.

What is your Thursday work-out?
Just finished: 65 HIIT on the stairmill, 5x5 lifting on the leggies. Breakfast now. Please.

I have 2 younger sisters. My mom is also one of my best friend's godmother, so I consider her my god-sister.

Basically any Ben & Jerry's flavor, especially coconut 7 layer bar. I love that there's a B & Js store on my campus that I can spend my meal points at bahah.

Awww, that photo is too cute!
I'm the oldest--I have a younger sister and a younger brother.
My all-time, all-time favorite is peppermint stick. My other favorite is a regional one called Amaretto Cherry Mackinac Island Fudge. Basically, think Amaretto-Cherry ice cream with GIGANTIC fudge pieces. It is nothing short of amazing.
I'm hoping for a 4 mile tempo run today. *fingers crossed* I'm also going to have to fit some yoga in as well, my muscles are SUPER tight.
I'm jealous that you can see your family so often! It always looks like you have so much fun. Mine is so far away, I see them on holidays and that's about it. :(

I have a younger brother. I call him "lil' bro", but the irony comes from the fact that he's 6'7. So he's hardly "lil'". :)

Taco salad is one of my favorites.
Or anything with salsa. I'm not picky.

Favorite ice cream of all time would have to be Ben & Jerry's cherry garcia- yum! Haven't had it in forever, it gets dangerous when I do!

I feel like every week a new sibling appeared on the blog, good to finally have the family head count. How is it being the youngest? I am the opposite, oldest with 4 younger siblings- my youngest sister loves being the baby- must be something to it!

I have 4 younger sisters and a younger brother due in January. Yup, that's right. I am 27, the next is 21, then 7, 5, and 3. (My Dad got remarried and they had the little ones). I love being a big sister. The 7 year old is my mini-me.

Favorite ice cream... boy, that's tough. I'll have to go with Mint Chocolate Chip from Baskin Robbins.

Thursday workout WILL be done tonight after work so around 7:30. I WILL RUN.

Workouts on Thursdays have typically been elliptical or rest, but since I won't have access to the gym starting tomorrow, who knows?

Favorite ice cream depends on my mood. Love vanilla, vanilla with chocolate sauce, vanilla with caramel sauce, mint chocolate chip, Phish Phood...

I have a brother a year older. He's a marathon addict currently sidelined by PF. You can say hi to him in Boston for me.

Today's wo plan: 4 miles on the treadmill, lifting lower body, and swimming with my 4yo, so the laps will be few, but the smiles many.

BANANA PUDDING ICE CREAM!! It's soooo good. It comes with vanilla wafers in the ice cream, but they are a little mushy, so I like to put it ontop of MORE vanilla wafers. It will change your life!

Okay, so many things to say... where to begin...

1. I'm so glad that you loved your package. You know I just gotta help support those like me with an addiction to ice cream and chocolate. Why don't we live closer so we could eat McDonald's ice cream together every day??? Thank you for your sweet words! :)

2. Don't even feel bad for being a home body! I call my Mom multiple times a day. She is seriously one of my best friends.

3. Cupcake shake = patent that.

4. I'm moving to UT so I can come to your spin class.

5. I have 2 older siblings. Being the baby rocks! I love that you blatantly said you are the favorite child. I say the same thing!

6. All time favorite ice cream = moose tracks, or Marmalade Skies, obviously.

7. Thursday workout will be an hour on the arc trainer and 15 mins on the stairs... plus arms and abs!

And I think I love your brother, lol. Cupcake & Ice Cream?! My kind of man!

I have an older brother and basically left crying this weekend when I had to say bye after our visit.

Great to see family - especially this time of year.

Thursday's workout is always: 30 min. warm-up run; 1 hour endurance full-body lift; 30-45 minutes head-lamp run with teammates later.

Run happy!
