I Could Get Used To This.....

Dear Mother-in-law,

How do you feel about Billy and I moving in with you for good?  Thanks in advance for letting us.  I will pay rent by making you delicious sugarrific goodies and go running with you whenever you want.

Why I love being at my in-laws.

-No thinking about work/students/responsibilities or grown-up things.

-Delicious salad ingredients for lunch at my fingertips.

IMG_2884.JPG

-Puppy Loving.

IMG_2854.jpg

-Chocolate left on my pillow plus the most comfortable bed in the world.  I call it my room.

IMG_2858.JPG

-Dinner of ribs (homemade bbq sauce), potatoes and rolls made by the best cook.

IMG_2891.JPG

-Hours spent playing Uno, watching Home Alone, foot massages and working on Billy's Christmas gift (muhahaha, I will show you after.....he checks my blog at least 37 times a day).

-Lots of time to cuddle with my boy.   Yes, we are the same height when I am wearing heels and we are both okay with that.

IMG_2878.JPG

I know I know...it wasn't my fault that a whole lot of self-tanner came out at once, I couldn't let it go to waste.

Going to the gym with the whole fam in the morning.....best friends and endorphins at the same time=euphoria.

CHECK BACK IN THE MORNING FOR A CRAZY AWESOME GIVEAWAY.

1. What is your favorite card game or board game?

-Monopoly and connect 4.....the two games I always win!

2. What did you have for your Sunday night dinner?  Are Sunday night dinners more fancy than other nights or is that just us?

-Sunday nights are always a bigger, fancier dinner.  I wouldn't have it any other way.

3. What is your favorite kind of puppy?

-Collie's, Golden Retriever's and Chocolate Labs.

I love apples to apples & bananagrams!

I love my golden retriever dog! And golden puppies are the cutest things ever. I would love a fluffy puppy to cuddle with. I guess I can resort to watching cute puppies on youtube.

I could get used to chocolates on my pillow too :) Looks like you're having fun!

1. favorite game? I like word games. Scrabble. Boggle. Scattergories. And, more recently: Settlers of Catan.

2. Dinner tonight was jambalaya in the slow cooker.

3. My favorite puppy is a puppy that I don't have to house break or teach not to bite things. I like looking at and playing with puppies, but we adopted our dog right before she turned 4 after a wild first 3 years of her life on the racetrack. No chewing phase, and she was practically crate-trained already so housebreaking was a breeze!

Any sort of hound puppy! I grew up with beagles and now I have a mutt who is beagle and coon hound (best guess - he's a true mutt), so they'll always be my favorite. Glad you're having a great time!

So glad you're having a great time! I want to move in with Billy's parents, too. I'll ask my Billy if he'd be up for that and let you know. I prefer dark chocolates on my pillow. :)

I LOVE Scrabble. And Monopoly, but Billy always wins in that game.

ALSO, my Billy and I are the same height. Well, depending on who is standing up straighter, but we're both about 5'8".

I just found your blog and I love it!
I love trivial pursuit and monopoly.
Sunday dinners are sometimes fancy, just depending on if we are running to kids' practices or not.
I love Golden Retrievers! (but I am biased because my Maddie is one :)
If I put on heels, my hubby and I are the same height as well :)

Cards: Hearts! Board game: Monopoly…play ya!? No one here will play w/ me 'cuz I'm ruthless.

Sunday dinner isn't too fancy here because Mondays are grocery shopping days…so it's kinda slim pickins.

Puppies are CUTE! My favorite puppies are Newfies and Bassets.

My favorite board game is Monopoly. But I love me some Yahtzee!! I went through a streak a few months ago and made Shane and my other roommate play Yahtzee with me EVERY single night for like a week. Or longer. :)

I love any type of puppy really. They're sooooo adorable!!

1. What is your favorite card game or board game?
Currently: Scrabble, thanks to Words With Friends.

2. What did you have for your Sunday night dinner? Are Sunday night dinners more fancy than other nights or is that just us?
I had brinner-omelet and veggie bowl. If I really wanted Sunday dinner to be fancy, I'd head to my parents. Thought I'd be responsible last night :)

3. What is your favorite kind of puppy?
Definitely labs/retrievers. That's all we had growing up.

Glad you get to go to the gym in the AM! :) I know you are too :)

I love board games esp. when they are with the whole family!!!
My favorite kind of puppy is my puppy Milo he's a brittany. He is also one of the best running partners ever. I have him up to 3 miles now. I want to run him here in the ASPCA 5K held over the summer time.
Sunday night dinners are a big deal. My hubbs and I always do something big. Last night Hubbs grilled out some beautiful steaks that just melted in your mouth. Side dishes were double stuffed potatoes, garden salad for start and fresh steamed string beans. Yummy!!!!

I am taller than The Husband in most of my heels -- we're OK with that too =)
Lucky you getting along so well with the in-laws!

Our Sunday night dinner is always more lowkey - often popcorn and fruit, maybe some cheese. And probably ice cream or cookies or something sweet. Of course!

You are just beautiful!

You are seriously so lucky to have nice in-laws, my are the worst and will pretty much be the end to my marriage. They are constantly....making fun of me, complaining about what I wear, my hair just every little thing. I can't handle it. Last night the boy got in a fight with his parents over the Christmas card they mailed out.... in return his dads like whatever Christmas will make everything right.... he informed them that I was NOT going to come to there house for Christmas... and he might not either because he's mad at them. In turn his dad calls back and says if Erica wont be at our house for Christmas you don`t come either. She makes everything about her, and this is now going to negatively affect you. So now I am the bad guy if I don`t go. I can't win so I am completely envious of your relationship with your in-laws.

I pretty much play whatever board game/card game my 8 and 5 year old pick which usually means I-Spy or Uno! As for Sunday dinner it is usually involved but last night I went to dinner with a friend so I had a salad and chili!

By the way, gorgeous picture of you and Billy. You two clean up very well!!

Looks like you are having a wonderful time!!!

I like lots of games! I played Chutes & Ladders with a client of mine over the weekend. She kicked my behind every time! But she talked so it all worked out!

Sunday dinners are USUALLY bigger. I say usually because we don't always get a chance to go to the market on Sundays so if we don't, it's regular food.

Favorite puppy = Boston Terriers!

That puppy is sooo cute!

Also, that picture of you and Billy is awesome! Definitely frame-worthy. ;) You are gorgeous! (And if it helps, I didn't notice the self-tanner.) Jordan and I are the same height when I am wearing heels too, no problem!

Glad you are having such a great time! :)

Super cute puppy! So glad you are having a great trip.

1. Scrabble. I am master at it, and I feel like its the only time I ever use my college minor in Linguistics

2. Sunday dinner is usually really easy - leftovers or takeout.

3. Pugs and mini schnauzers. I've been begging for a pug puppy for forever.

puppies make me so, so happy :) I love all puppies. But if I were to get one (hopefully sometime in the near future), it will be a wrinkly, fuzzy, drooling bulldog. I love them far too much.

My favorite game is Scrabble. I'm a word nerd.

I made fantastic whole wheat veggie pizza for Sunday night dinner. It was awesome. I used my brand new pizza stone. I'll never go back to the old way.

My favorite puppy is my own, she's a black lab and not really a puppy anymore.

I kinda can't wait to go home for Christmas so I don't have to think about what I need to cook every single night for din-din. That baked potato looks mouth-watering. I think I might have to cook one of those for supper tonight.
