Table for 18.

Get excited for another weight-lifting post later on today, we focused on hamstrings yesterday followed by 45 minutes on the elliptical.  Is it weird that my sister actually moved the elliptical so that it was 3 inches from mine rather than the standard 2 feet so that we could hear each other easier.  We got a lot of weird stares from people.  Pretty sure my abs got a better work out from laughing than the rest of my body.

Just another Friday night in Janae and Billy World.  I don't know if you have caught on to a common theme of my blog yet but in case you haven't......I am kind of obsessed with family.  I had family in town and so did Billy so why not combine the two most awesomest things together.....family and food that is.

IMG 5220

Have you ever eaten pizza from the side, didn't think so.  Try it, time to think outside the box or triangle for that matter.

IMG 5214

There was plenty of salad with my omega-3 fatty acids in the form of goldfish (they didn't have swedish fish for me to sprinkle on top so I had to settle for the crackers).

And there was more dessert pizza than ever.  Billy came up with the brilliant idea to ask for a side of the frosting and Billy's brother and I followed through with the idea and actually did it.  Oreo pizza dipped into a cup of frosting......words can't even describe what I experienced.

IMG 5222

After we had officially eaten Pizza Pie Cafe out of business we moved the party to our house (I am on the floor getting tackled by my nephew as the picture was being taken).

IMG 5224

Someone got into my closet and decided to try on my shoes.  Pretty sad that a two year old can walk better in heels than I can and I am not talking about my niece.....my nephew did it even better.

IMG 5226

Did you have a long run today? A race?  Did you sleep in or make banana pancakes?  Tell me about your morning.

-I am going to sleep in until 8:30 and then I am teaching spin, ellipticising, lifting and then you guessed it- more family time.

Do you like having people over to your house....do you like being the host?

-I LOVE it.  When school is out I will be planning some pretty stellar get-togethers at our house (aka Billy bbq's for everyone and I make dessert).  You are ALL invited okay?!?!

Goldfish, cheez-its, wheat thins, ritz, saltines or other cracker?

-Wheat thins are my favorite with cheez-its (white cheddar flavor) in a close second.

Your nieces and nephews are so adorable! You guys must live really close to your sister!

Mmm dessert pizza! Can life get any better?!

Woke up early and blogged--making waffles later on! With berries and syrup!
Taking it easy today--gym, netflix, run, make rice krispie bars, etc.

Do you like having people over to your house....do you like being the host?
Yeah! I host a girls' Bible study every Sunday night and I love having friends and family over...plus it's great when when the night is over, I just walk down the hall and go to bed...without a long drive home! ha ha.

White cheddar cheezits are AMAZING. haven't had those in forever! I love goldfish crackers and teddy grahams!

My Achilles flared up again so I am not going for a long run and I had to give up on training for my marathon in a few weeks. I am going to try a run today, just run and not care about distance. Then it is the gym and do some weights, a quick bday gift shopping trip and a 12:00 bday party. I love having people over, especially for bbq's. Wheat thins or white cheez-its. Have you tried the baby swiss cheez-its?

This post makes me wish i had more family in town/closer to me! I moved to North carolina to teach, and left a lot of my family in Michigan. Thankfully, I have a husband and some gal pals...but a huge family get together sounds so perfect. Enjoy!!!!!!!

The only productive things I have done all day are: putting food into a crockpot & organizing my google reader.
It's about to storm here, so I'm planning to do yoga in my living room later.
I can't wait for your summer bbq's! I'll bring a side dish, okay? ;)

We're hosting a "core training" workshop at work so I get to represent our staff and (hopefully) learn a lot! Then I'm coming home to RUN because it's supposed to be hot and sunny for the first time today!! Your goldfish-topped salad put the biggest smile ever on my face and made me go "how did I not ever think to do that???" :-)

Goldfish, cheez-its, wheat thins, ritz, saltines or other cracker?

How am I supposed to pick just one?! Goldfish are probably #1...then saltines! I grew up on those crackers..so good! I think it's the salt + crunch that I love. They are especially good with peanut butter and marshmallow fluff sandwiched between...and crunched up in chili :)

Saltines are essentially a staple in my kitchen. I'm more a fan of the ritz, wheat thins, and goldfish, but since I'll eat the entire box in one sitting, I go for saltines for health reasons.

I have a long run today, but I split it up. I ran just under 5 miles this morning. I'm gonna' bike to the gym, swim, bike back, and then run another 4 miles this afternoon (after a nap).

Spent the night out with friends and woke up while the rest of them slept in to get in a 6 mile run. The weather was so fantastic and it felt really good-aside from the fact that my knee is now killing me. :(

So fun to have so much family near!!! You have such a cute fam!!

Slept in today.....I don't actually think that there's anything on the agenda! :D

My faaavorite crackers are either ritz or wheat thins..it really depends on my mood! hahaha

We have this pizza place here where instead of ordering a couple of pizzas, you sit down and waiters bring out pizzas from the kitchen and you get to pick what kinds you want as they walk by. There's normal pizza flavors (cheese, salami, chicken, pepperoni) and then there's dessert pizza(pineapple and condensed milk, chocolate with strawberries and caramel, banana and cinnamon, chocolate with sprinkles and chocolate coconut!!!) So if you ever come to Recife to run a marathon, I'll take you there! :D
Hope you have an awesome weekend!

WHERE is your niece's hat?!?!

I love wheat thins they are the BOMB. I also like those wheatable crackers in the pecan and almond varieties. Deeeelish.

Enjoy your family time!

Goldfish of course - even better when sprinkled on tomato soup.
I ran 8.5 miles today and I sucked it up. Bad idea to:
a) run outside on a windy day b) wait to start run until 11 on a day when the high is 90 c) not wear sunscreen so I am now proudly sporting an Ipod running band tan line
I really want a do over.

12 mile treadmill run with the most awesome, amazing, fun group of girls ever. 4 treadmills in a row it was awesomeness in a jar. Oh wait except it was 1000 degrees and I nearly died.

Have a great day lovely lady!

Goldfish, cheez-its, wheat thins, ritz, saltines or other cracker? I love ALL carbs but my fav fav fav cracker is the cracked pepper and olive oil triscuits. they ARE SOOOOO GOOD. but they give you dragon-breath, so you have to be careful! ha!

I had a half-marathon this morning. I'll post about it later. To put it mildly, it was less than stellar.

I love having friends over if we can order pizza. lol I'm not a good hostess. I'll supply the food and drink, but don't expect me to make it!

Have you heard of the Back to Nature brand of crackers? They make an organic version of wheat thins that are the BOMB. With salsa, of course. Or hummus.
