Friday Favorites: Road Trip Edition.

Time for my favorite things about Friday!!!

1. The fact that 20 minutes into our road trip, I wasn't the only one that had to stop to use the restroom. I am used to going on road trips with Billster and he can make it all the way to Cali (9.5 hours) without having to stop once. I would just like to think that I hydrate myself like a champion.

2. You knew this was coming. More road trip treats than most families of 8 take with them. There is just two of us and it is only a 3.5 hour drive.

3. Doing the robot while listening to Jay-Z......my sis and I are pretty gangsta. I am a great drivers ed teacher.

4. Billy downloaded Season 1 of Chopped onto my ipad......I will be a chef someday!

5. Before checking into the hotel or doing anything else we pulled right into pizza factory without even asking each other where we wanted to go. Yes, there are 3 of these babies close to home but that dang salad bar tastes even better when you are on vacation and you are with someone else that goes back for 2nds and should I tell you the truth...okay, 3rds. It is a miracle how my stomach can expand to fit the amounts of vegetables I put in it.

6. Our sweet $50 a night hotel room. We are pretty classy and you better believe we are going to save $11 by sharing a bed.

7. I got to go to a KILLER pump class this morning and only had to substitute two of the moves because of my leg. I was HIGH on endorphins and I will look forward to Monday, Wednesdays and Friday so that I can work my upper body hard core!

Time to go to the pool in the 75 degree weather....sorry, Provo but I do not miss you right now!

Fave thing today was making brownies. Brownie batter eating is my HEAVEN:)

1. Favorite part of a road trip: The obligatory Starbucks stop for an iced mocha or latte. Yum.

2. Favorite thing about today: It's Friday! And I'm teaching some friends how to make cake balls.

3. Favorite place to road trip to: Someplace girly with lots of shopping and restaurants with my mom. Girl trips are the best!

My favorite part about road trips is when you aren't on the highway. When you drive through towns, pretty landscapes, and can just look out the window for hours. My favorite place to road trip to is Outer Banks, North Carolina. Tomorrow we're flying to California and doing a road trip from San Francisco to San Diego!

My favorite part about road trips is the escape. I love getting away, listening to great music on the road and doing something besides the day-to-day monotony.

Friday favorite: starting the day off with great workout and ending it with sushi and mini cadbury eggs.

2. What are some of your favorite things about today?!?! My friend's preemie baby is coming home from the hospital on Monday after 4+ months in the NICU. That will probably be my favorite thing every day for the next week.

Texas to Destin, Florida - It's not so much the trip as almost every town we go through is ghetto. It's the destination that makes the drive so wonderful.

My dad never stops either.....we went on a 9 hr drive and stopped once, and only because we needed gas for the car. We even pack lunches and snacks in the car with us. :P

Favorite part about road trips--hmm. Definitely the destination, I think. Favorite thing about today--crazy hard spin class this morning! Fav place to road trip to--well, I drive to Baltimore every other weekend to visit my boyfriend (again all about the destination)!

I have to pee every hour on the hour basically, sometimes even more often than that. I pee during every 45 minute class I have. Yup that is a bladder the size of a walnut slash I drink so so much water!!

I love roadtrips with my kids. NO plans just us together stopping when we feel like it...Love the outdoors and hiking and lakes and no TV and no Cellphones (the cell's a lie but it sounds good)....

So glad you can knock out some PUMP!! I haven't been to a pump class forever! Enjoy the rest of your little getaway!
