Wife of the Century and Bungee Jumping.

Welcome to HungryYogurtlandGirl.com.  It is a full blown obsession.  Just remember that fro-yo has calcium, marshmallows give me happy feelings and pb fro-yo is a great source of protein:)  I met up with my bff from high school, Sarah, and her adorable daughter Elliot.

IMG 5311

As soon as ASH was off work she came and met us too.  It is normal to hang out there for two hours and if it wasn't for my teachers salary and obsession with buying the latest Apple products I would have gone for round II of ice cream.

Rain boots on children are the cutest things in the world.

IMG 5312

After taking over Yogurtland (I think I just need to get a part time job there) I headed over to Billow's (my favorite nickname for Billy) first baseball game of the season but lets just say it was a tad bit cold.  Wife of the year goes to Janae for bearing through two games in frigid temperatures....okay, it wasn't that bad but still I am impressed with myself and I only went through one mug of hot chocolate.

IMG 5317

They had two games back to back and they WON BOTH.  Love watching my man and his athletic skills.

IMG 5313

I may have accidently gone tanning (I know, I know Mom.....don't worry it is the first time in 2 years and I won't go again for a long long time) because I heard that Vitamin D is good for bone growth and I think it made my cheeks and face swell up even more than the usual (I have a very funny vlog coming up that involves making my cheeks even bigger while talking about chocolate cake and licking my lips, get excited.......I didn't show to Billy until after I married him and knew he was stuck with me no matter how big of a fool I make of myself).

IMG 5319

Lunch involved my favorite food components (I don't know what my obsession is with animal shaped food items....swedish fish, gold fish, gummy bears, frosted animal crackers and sour patch kids.....oh wait those are children shaped food not animals).

Spinach, broccoli, tuna, salsa, chia seeds and gold fish for crunch.

IMG 5310

IMG 5322

And dinner took me hours of slaving in the kitchen.......grilled pb and banana sandwich and somehow a few chocolate chips fell into them.   We watched the BIGGEST LOSER and one of the contestants went BUNGEE JUMPING AHHHHHHH!!!

So here is my question for you......

Have you or would you ever bungee jump?  What about skydiving?

-I COULD NEVER bungee jump but I have been skydiving in Hawaii and it was absolutely AMAZING and I would do it a million times.  Something about the rope and and bouncing up and down scares me to death.

What is your Friday workout? (I want to live through you....send me some of your sweat and endorphins in a bottle okay:)

-I am going to do strength training, 4 sets of 12 pushups and core work at 6 a.m. because we are leaving at 8 for St. George!!!

Do you have a nickname?  Do you make up nickname's for other people?

-I have a new nickname for Billy almost every day and my nickname in high-school was Nae-Nae.

I went skydiving a few years ago and I agree I would do it a million times and recommend that everyone tries it once! I agree though- the idea of bungee jumping freaks me out- what if the cord broke!? (not that jumping out with no cord is much better??)
half marathon tomorrow so its a day off for me...its supposed to be reallllly rainy- help what do i wear!?!

I really have no desire to bungee jump. Unfortunately I had to remove skydiving and snorkling from my bucket list. They dont allow asthmatics and I have already ripped the lining of my lungs once :-(. My friday workout will be legs and cardio. Time to get my squat on! Have a great day.

This post is pretty awesome. I have so many things to comment and I know I'm going to forget something.

1. The picture of you at the baseball game cracks me up!
2. I'm loving your food creativity. I never would have thought to top that with goldfish, but it's genius.
3. I HAVE bungee jumped, but it was in a harness rather than with the ankle straps. It was terrifying, but amazing. I really want to skydive!
4. I'm not sure if I'm going to work out today or take a rest day. I'm thinking I'll run a few because it's not supposed to be good weather this weekend and I REALLY want to run outside.
5. I nickname people all the time. My friend Jackie and I like to make up names for people we don't know, just in case we need to talk about them.

Hope you're having a great friday!

Aww Billy and you are the CUTEST couple!! :)

HAHA I had your dinner for breakfast a few days ago!! And funnily enough a few choccie chips fell in mine too...! :P

Friday workout was a yoga class and recovery run after yesterday running with Paula Radcliffe (sorry, I'm never gonna stop talking about this! :P) because apparently her 'easy' pace is SUB 5 min/miles, and I almost died. Someday you'll take her on and BEAT her though:)

ENJOY your vacation gorgeous!! :)

I have a seriously problem with nicknames. I just make up new ones on the spot and they are beyond ridiculous. My girl cat is called princess princess pants. Yes, 2 princesses. No reason why!
I will not go bungee jumping because I like being alive, thank you very much!
:)

I don't think I could ever go bungee jumping, when I was watching Biggest Loser I was so tense the entire time each of them were jumping! I was freaking out! I'm not good with heights.
My workout tonight will be Run 3-4 miles, Week 1-Day 3 Push up Challenge and 20 min of Ab/strength work. I will be thinking of you while I am running and sending you vibes of goodness!

Aw, you look so cute at Billy's game! I love going to Eric's baseball games...he doesn't play regularly right now, though.

People have called me Erbear before, and also in high school a lot of people called me Obi (my maiden name was Obermeier).

Friday is my rest day so I will have to live vicariously through everyone with you! I have a sprint tri on Sunday that I am getting ready for, though! I'm excited!

I have been bungee jumping in New Zealand, actually, it was awesome! I have also been sky diving, and I thought the bungee jumping was scarier! I thought that was weird but it sounds like you're also more scared of bungee jumping. And yeah the bouncing did make me feel a little queasy. I went with my sister though and had a death grip on her (and also motivation not to barf on her;). You can see pics here (http://untilyoutri.wordpress.com/2011/02/23/i-did-something-very-dangerous-today/)

Jealous of your girl's weekend. Have fuuuuun!!:)

I would definitely go both skydiving and bungee jumping! I plan on doing both before I'm 30.

I usually train a PT client on Friday mornings, but we were under tornado warnings this morning so she canceled. I am coaching cheerleading clinics this afternoon, so that will involve about two hours of cheering and dancing. Then I'm headed to Memphis to go to a Zumba Fitness Concert - I'm not exactly sure what to expect, but I know we will dance and it will be fun!

Nicknames - YES - love them for everyone. I make up new ones for Daniel, my pets, and my students nearly everyday. My nicknames basically all involve being short/small (peanut, lil bit, dynamite-my fav).

I hope you and your sister have the BEST time together on your trip! Enjoy!

I would love to say I'd go sky diving but I'd probably chicken out at the last minute.

Today I am doing speed work on the treadmill and then probably some elipticalling or stairmaster (they took away the arc trainers from my gym :( )

PS Where is that bag from in the picture of you at the game? I like it!! Congrats to Billy on the wins!

I would never, ever bungee jump! Can't imagine just jumping off a bridge to some pile of rocks. Skydiving however seems so freeing and liberating! That must have been cool to skydive in somewhere beautiful like Hawaii.

My workout = taking a long walk through the city (NYC) it has the best people watching ever. Plus there are yogurt land type places on every corner so I always take food breaks. Does this even count as a work out? Haha.

I love goldfish!!!

I honestly don't think most of my family knows my real name. They all call me Shelley, and my friends call me shell.

I ran 6 miles and ellipticized for 20 minutes. Cannot believe I faced the elliptical. Work your butt off for 20 minutes and barely burn 100 calories. lame, lame, lame I tell you.

Have a fabulous day!!!

Don't hate me, but I did a 7 mile run this morning. It was awesome. Mostly because it was my first time out with the new Bob jogging stroller I bought last night and I loved it! I only have 4 weeks left until a 100 mile relay (we have a 6 person team) so I need to start increasing my mileage a little bit (my doctor wanted me to take a 3 week break from running due to a problem with my adrenal gland-not gonna happen right now).
