Spin songs, race photos and hot chocolate overdose.

Workout: Taught 45 minute spin class and 45 minutes on the elliptical.  Now that I can ellipticize I am already slacking on the lifting department.....good thing the sis and I have a gym date tomorrow and she can whip me into shape.  Get excited for round 2 of weights......read ROUND ONE HERE.

Even though I am extremely excited for summer......there are a few things that I will miss about winter.

1.  I drink hot chocolate all year long, in the winter people look at me like I am a normal person.  However, in the summer they (family, co-workers, strangers, Billy) stare when I am wearing short sleeves, in 90 degree weather sipping the HC thinking I must be high or something.

Photo on 2011 03 31 at 10 19 2

2.  Boots.  I have runners feet.  Like really bad runners feet.  Boots do a great job of covering the lack of a toenail, the calluses, the size 10 etc.  If we meet in real life during the summer please only look at me from the ankles up, otherwise your opinion of me may drastically change.

IMG 2691

3.  Treadmill running.  I LOVE running outside but I do love my treadmill.......no stopping at lights, dealing with extreme weather, I get to watch reality shows as I go and most importantly.....bathroom emergencies are easier to handle.

IMG 4054

I forgot to post my spin list yesterday- I don't know what got into me, maybe it was because I was all worked up about the 2.5 serving size bag of Swedish Fish.  I guess I did share two fishies with Billy so maybe I only ate 2 servings?!?!

1.  Blah Blah by Kei$ha

2. Rock That Body by Black Eyed Peas

3. Remember the Name by Fort Minor

4. What the Heck by Avril Lavign

5. DJ Got Us Falling in Love by Usher

6. Forget You by Cee Lo Green

7. Uprising by Muse

8. Perfect by Pink

9. Papercut by Linkin Park

10. Who Dat Girl by Akon

11. Get Low by Petey Pablo (oldey but a classic)

12. Bawitdaba  by Kidd Rock

1.  What are you going to miss most about Winter?

2.  Do you have cute feet or runners feet?  Do you get pedicures?

-Back in the single days I would all the time but I think Billy would agree it is time to splurge on a little lovin' for my feet.

3.  Anyone have fun VACATION plans coming up this spring/summer?

-BOSTON is getting closer and closer:)  Next month we are going to St. George with my family and we will be in Cali for most of the Summer (number one reason to be a teacher:)

Growing up in Wyoming and now living in San Diego, I totally miss when my nose hairs would freeze and the way a cold day smelled. I think about that all the time! And I totally have the worst runners feet ever!! All my friends always want to go for pedicures but I'm too embarrassed to pay someone to touch my feet. Tough life being a runner :)

It's not weird to drink hot chocolate all year long. I mean, think about it--people (me) drink hot coffee all year long, too. It's the same thing.

In Florida we don't get winter. But I always miss winter because I don't have it! =(

I have dancers feet, but I think they are cute. I keep them pedicured. Is that a word?

I am going to Minneapolis over Memorial day weekend (my birthday) to visit with the PriorFatGirl family! (www.priorfatgirl.com or #PriorFatPack on twitter) And run a 5k. That same group of girls are coming to Florida next year to run the Disney Princess Half. You should come too! Blogger fun in Florida! =)

I am not sure I'll miss anything about winter. Then again, ask me in June when I'm 8 months pregnant. Ha! Seriously, though, I really don't like winter - the cold, the snow, scraping ice, running tights, frozen eyelashes. I do like soup and I eat it all the time in winter - maybe I'll miss that.

I wish we were doing something fun this summer. I mean, besides, the baby. We are visiting my grandma in a week in Cincinnati so that will be cool.

I used to have cute feet as a competative swimmer (the water keeps them all soft and lovely) but since I started running they've gotten ugly and training for the last marathon I lost 2 toenails. But I do keep them painted ALWAYS bare toenails are just gross I think

On a day like today, I am doing a little (inner) dance of joy as winter makes it's exit (though I will miss wearing my down puffy coat--I love that thing!) I am running the Sawtooth Relay in June, and then the Spokane to Sandpoint in August--those are my vacations!

No, no, I have runners feet. I'm constantly apologizing for them for some reason.

I like my treadmill too! I think I need to set up a Tv like you have. I just stare at a wall!

Thanks for the playlist! Every once in awhile I grab a new tune from your selection.

I live in Australia so the weather is just starting to cool down here. I'm not impressed..I LOVE summer, not so keen on winter...I'm a wuss - it doesn't even get very cold here.

I think most feet are ugly..Mine aren't too bad but I don't bother with pedicures often. I spend my beauty $ on make up and spray tans :)

Thank you so much for the sweet comment on my blog!!

I will miss wearing a hoodie and looking normal while I do it. I wear one at night during the summer, and I get funny looks. I just love my comfy clothes. Also, since I started running my feet can't handle flip flops anymore! So my favorite thing about the summer is GONE now!

I used to get pedicures in like high school and shortly after but then I got lazy and stopped spending my money on things I don't need. But now that my feet are all callused up, I'm afraid of them scraping the calluses off! I worked hard to build those up and I don't need to go back to having weakling skin!

I think I'm going to miss the way the snow looks covering everything. So beautiful! I'm also going to miss wearing scarves. I've been really into them this year! By the way, I have the same cup (but in brown!)

I'm going to miss being cool when the temperatures are in the 80's and massively humid.

My feet are gross, but I only get pedicures once in a while when it is warm. No point in getting them in the winter!

No fun vacation for me. Such is the life of a grad student! At least I get to make a weekend trip to DC for a wedding.

I won't miss anything about winter! Summer is the best time in Seattle. :) My feet are okay- they were bad when I ran a few half marathons last year but are better now (especially since I just got a pedicure). I am going to Maui for my honeymoon this summer and I cannot wait!!

I won't judge you for your feet if you won't judge me for my second toe being longer than my big toe. It's a genetic thing - I'm not proud of it. However, people tell me it's a sign of smartness. I believe them.

I've never lived in a climate without winter, but I don't think I'd miss much (maybe nothing at all!). I really despise winter, and we just had another dumping of snow today in south-central Alaska!!

Running totally chews up my feet--callouses, blisters, black toe nails, etc.! I apologize constantly when I'm getting a pedicure! I feel so bad, but I can't do as good of a job as they can!

I know I don't run as much as every one else, so my feet are good! Bud loves my feet. The most I get is a callus on the sides of my big toes, and that's it. When I did start running, I did go from a size 7 shoe to an 8. Was not happy with that!

The only thing I will miss about winter is the fact that I don't have to mow my yard in December.

I drink hot chocolate/cappuccinos alllll year long. Last summer I went to pretty much every single baseball game for my... err, "friends" league. I always showed up with some type of coffee beverage and every single parent said something to me ATLEAST once. lol

Uhm, at one point I only had six toenails. Then I found out I was wearing the wrong sized shoes for about 4 years. Turns out I'm not an 8, I'm actually a 9 or 9.5. Yikes. So yeahhh, my feet are deformed. I feel bad for the people who give me pedicures.

No plans for vacation yet :( Probably just some day trips because I'm a poor college student. Wahhh!

PS-> I wanna do the Disney Princess marathon SO bad. Let's split the price and high-tail our butts down to Disney!

That spin play list is ROCKIN!

I don't think there is much I will miss about winter...except that when it is cold out and bad weather, I really love staying in my house for a few days and doing absolutely nothing. And in the summer if I did that I would just be wasting a precious summer day. So I guess winter provides an excuse to be a little more lazy? hehe

P.S. I have those boots and I love them and wear them everywhere

YAY for ellipticizing!! I can't believe I just wrote that since I despise that machine but I remember how great it felt when I was able to start using it after my hip.

I haven't got a pedicure forever. I'm pretty sure the polish on my toes is about 6 months old. My feet don't get too beat up from running but they would never be classified as "cute"-ha!

I love to run outside too but every now and again regardless of the weather I crave a treadmill run. I love when you post your playlists! I just loaded a brand new list today and I'm seriously giddy to run to it:)

I am going to miss skiing! I have one last trip next weekend (actually to Utah - going to Park City!). But I am not an avid skier - I would much rather have the weather be warm so it's easier to wander around the cities where I am. In the winter I always just hurry from place to place because I get cold easily!

My feet aren't TERRIBLE, but they do have their problems. Right now I think I have a toenail issue on my left big toe and probably need to go to see a podiatrist, but I am burying my head in the sand and pretending it's fine. It is slightly bluish yellow (TMI?) but is perfectly intact. I am not putting any polish on it until I know what's going on, because I don't want to make it worse.

I am in Warsaw right now visiting my family for a long weekend! This is my last big trip that I currently have planned right now, but I want to plan a week's vacation this summer sometime.
