Saturday was good to me.

I am writing this post way past my bed time so please excuse the extra grammatical (instead of the usual 15 expect at least 20 mistakes).

Saturday was good to me.  I am not going to lie- every day for the past two weeks I have cried multiple times a day about my stupid leg but Saturday was just too good of a day to cry and let my silly self-pitying get in the way.

Billy and I spent the afternoon on the couch watching movies, working on computer stuff and just being lazy.

Then we went to my little piece of heaven.........

IMG 4975

Wow.  Did you know that a moon face is one of the side effect of steroids and so is really creepy overly happy faces about new make-up and a swim cap.

Now that my mother is a texting machine (just last year the only text I had received from her was, 'yes' and now I receive full on paragraphs from the woman.  It is awesome especially when she offers Yogurtland.  Once again we went with the dessert before dinner and it worked like a charm.

IMG 4980

The fruit was calling my name and it just felt right to load my pb fro-yo with heaps of fresh fruit.

PS do not overestimate my healthiness with the above yogurt.....there was also large amounts of brownie chunks underneath all of that beautiful fruit.

While we were there, we ran into a girl that I have blog stalked for awhile and felt like I knew in real life but really didn't until last night  How do non-bloggers make friends....I don't know anymore.

IMG 4981

Christy from Sweet Treats and More.  Go to her blog, you will love every second of it and will want to eat your screen.

I know you think, "Janae, get a life and go somewhere else for once on a Saturday night (or any night for that matter)."

I don't think you understand.......the yogurt is perfection and all of my friends (and 3/4ths of Provo) are all there.

I ran into a huge group of my gym/spin friends and the most GORGEOUS ASHLEY and her family.

Being the awesome party animals that we are, we headed home at the late night hour of 9 to enjoy being in pj's,IMG 4982

eating egg sandwiches and greasy popcorn,

IMG 4983

While watching 'Grown Ups.'  It was pretty funny but I fell asleep half-way through like I always do.  Poor Billy has had to watch more than a trillion endings of movies all by himself. Maybe if we started the movies at 5 I could stay awake, okay that's not true.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Do you fall asleep easy during movies/tv shows?

-Yep and I hate to admit that I fell asleep during the last Harry Potter.  When I am just sitting still and relaxed I can't keep my eyes open.

What are you having for Sunday b-fast?

-I am thinking pancakes.  Sunday's are the only days that I can actually make something delicious and sit down to enjoy it.....better believe I am going to take advantage of it:)

Do your parents know how to text and be tech savy?

-They didn't used to but now they can do everything (including commenting on my blog....hint hint mom).

Favorite store in your mall (money is not a factor in this question)?

-Nordstrom, I think I could by a million things in each department.

My mom has learned how to text, which means that I now get at least 18 texts per hour... hmmm.... :)

1. Oh my gosh yessss! I just get too relaxed. Especially when I watch movies at home in my pjs with lots of pillows..

2. I had cereal because I am boring like that

3. My parents are super text savvy! My dad carries a blackberry and my madre has an iPhone. They know more shorthand than I do...

4. Abercrombie & Fitch :D The whole ambience of the place is just awesome.

My dad is tech savvy but my mom-not so much.

I wanted to be laying in my bed around 9pm so badly but of course, I was staying the night at my friends house away from campus at that was not acceptable. ha.

Made french toast this morning. Ymmmmmy!

Parents can hardly figure out how to answer their cell phone......no texting for them. They still call for help to work their DVD player.

Favorite store: Banana Republic: Fall-Spring, J-Crew: Summer.
When I visit my sister or in-laws then I go to Nordstrom because we don't have them here.......yes I can see you as a Nordstrom girl.

Once the tv comes on, I think my body thinks, "Hey, lets sleep!" It's bad!

- Pancakes sound awesome! Had a boring bowl of cereal!

I am so surprised how far my parents have come. My mom still doesn't text. My dad texts one word answers and it's always "Yes"...so if I text "Hey dad, I am lost and need help." His response is "Yes." hahaha.

Money is no factor?!?! AHHH! I would def pick Lord and Taylor or Bloomingdale's or Nordstrom.

Have a great day beautiful girl!

I do fall asleep a lot while watching tv and stuff. It's relaxing!!

This morning for breakfast I made egg sandwiches. Sooo yummy!

First, I love egg sandwiches. Second, I have never been to a yogurtland and am considering driving a long distance to find one. Third, I feel asleep watching the Tourist on Sat. Not to say that it wasnt a good movie because it was :) it's just that I ran out in the cold, windy day and that always makes me wanna nap.

If you really want me to go to sleep, put me in front of the TV or in a moving car. I'm out like a light within minutes. I fell asleep Friday night when me and D were watching The Tourist. You'd think looking at Johnny Depp would be enough to keep a girl awake!

So get this... I'm laid up on the couch all sickly today. I was supposed to get up and run 12 miles this morning, but instead woke up with what I fear is the beginnings of strep throat. It's going around like crazy here.

ANYWAY, since I have nothing better to do today I just went back and read a bunch of your posts from when you first started this blog back in October, a few months before I found you and started following. They were so funny! I didn't realize the blog so new. I thought you'd been at it a lot longer than 6 months.

Oh my gosh, if the lights are out and I'm laying down, I won't last 5 minutes into a movie. LAME-OOO.

Sunday breakfast: steel cut oats!

I heart froyo, too, so you don't have to explain your addiction :D.

Omg, I fall asleep SOO easy if the movie starts anytime after 9.

I've also fallen asleep in the movie theaters three times: when I went to see Men in Black, the fifth Harry Potter movie, and most recently, the Fighter. Yeah. I know.

My favorite store by far is A&F..if only I could afford the non-clearance stuff... :)

Loved that we ran into you at Yogurtland last night! My mom thinks you are adorable by the way! :)

I fall asleep super easy when we watch movies at home, if we go out to the movies I'm usually ok. :) Sunday b-fast? coffee! ha! maybe some scrambled eggs after church. My mom is a super texter and my Dad is learning... we always joke that it takes him an hour to reply a short "yes" or "no" text. But yesterday he texted my Mom, bro, and I to wish us good luck on our race. It was cute! :) My fav store (money aside) is probably Express. I love their dresses and editor pants... I rarely have a need to dress up, but I love their stuff!

I fall asleep all the time during movies, then end up asking a million questions about what happened!
My mom is very tech-savvy (texting, facebook, skype), but my dad has no idea how to use a computer - although, he just learned to text!

I don't know why, but I almost always crave fro-yo after reading your blog :P

And I love that my parents are so tech savvy. We text/facebook! And both of my gmas now have FB, although they are still learning how to use it!

And if we watch tv past 9:00 there is a good chance I will fall asleep, I feel ya girl!

I am pretty much an old lady in that if you put me in a dark room anytime after 8pm, I will fall asleep. Movies are out for me unless they're matinees.

I went to Sarabeth's (one of the best brunch places in NYC) this morning to get a pumpkin waffle topped with raisins, pumpkin seeds, honey, and sour cream. DELICIOUS treat as a reward for the marathon I ran yesterday!

My mom has gotten into texting lately. She's still not great at it, but we can at least keep in touch if she's running late for a trip to see or something. She also often texts me during marathons to keep cheering me on, since she knows I don't like to talk on the phone during races (though yes, it's been done). She also really joined Facebook and is still learning the ropes there - she pretty much comments/likes EVERY SINGLE POST for all of her friends, which is kind of cute :)

No malls in NYC, but I love the Banana Republic that is right near my subway stop. Addictive since it is RIGHT there!

We really would be BFF's in real life. I fall asleep during all movies. My poor husband. He sometimes makes up alternate endings and then laughs when I believe them.

Pancakes here too! With greek yogurt and berries, I think. Nomnom. Of course, I have to do my new strength training routine first...must.get.out.of.pjs.

Banana Republic and White House Black Market. Love.

I can NOT stay awake when we watch movies at night. My boyfriend will usually finish watching it, and then let me know if the ending is worth it.
By the way, I may just have to go get some Pinkberry this afternoon after seeing this post. Yummmm

Still stalking you - and praying for your leg, too =) P.S. I have a renewed Yogurtland addiction thanks to your yummy photos =)

1. YES, I always fall asleep. My roommate and I were talking about this just last night. I always tell her to pick the movie because I will only last for about 7 minutes.

2. Making blueberry pancakes for lunch. SCORE.

3. My mom is a texting beast. LOVE IT.

4. LOVE Nordstroms. And Ann Taylor Loft!

BTW, I am totally up for that bloggy meet up in Cali this summer =) Yogurtland better look out - they are going to run out of gummy bears.

I always fall asleep during movies, and while reading books. I blame it on trying to go a mile a minute all the time. By the time I realize I can relax for five minutes, I'm already out like a light. Sunday pre-run breakfast is nothing too elaborate. I had an egg and an extra large fruit smoothie with strawberries, raspberries, bananna and protien mix with soymilk.

I think it is so awesome you meet up with so many bloggy buddies. I'm learning there are just so many amazing women bloggers out there! I only know of one so far that lives near me (Emily from eatdrinkrun). I'm hoping we will cross paths eventually during a race!

I always either fall asleep during the movie or just go to bed.

Breakfast pre-run was pb and banana on low-carb/high protein pita pocket and post run-1 egg, 2 whites w/ black beans, salsa, and avocado YUM!!

Hope you had a great Sunday too!

I never fall asleep during movies. My hubs on the other hand has reached that amazing point in his life where he can't stay up past 9.
Sunday morning - I have early church so I'd rather sleep as late as I can instead of eating a good breakfast. This morning, frozen Nutrigrain waffles with fresh bluberries and sugar free syrup. Classy I know but it will do in a pinch.
Tech savvy parents - not so much. The hubs works for a software company so he is tech help to anyone in the family over the age of 40. My FIL used to call my MIL at work to figure out how to adjust the digital thermostat.
Favorite store at the mall - J. Crew. No question.

I always fall asleep during movies! I'm not sure if it's because I'm always exhausted, or because I have such a short attention span. If it's longer than a 22-minute sitcom, either I'm bored and already on the computer or I'm asleep!
Breakfast this morning was oatmeal with nutella, flax, and tons of fresh strawberries. Yum!

J. Crew, hands down.
