Our dog could eat you.

I loved every single comment from my motivation post.  I really don't know what I would do without you guys.....no joke.  If you ever need a little motivation, awesome mantras or to know your not alone go to the comment section HERE.

The first 14 hours of my Sunday consisted of laying on the couch reading, stalking you and watching 'Kitchen Disasters' on Hulu.  Then we went to church.

IMG_3902.jpg

During the summer there was a rumor going around our church that I was prego.  I wondered why and found out it was because I always bring snacks to munch on and the other girls thought the only reason I would do that was because I was pregnant.  I then explained to them that there is no way I could go more than two hours without eating something unless I am sleeping.  It's just how I roll. I am used to people thinking I am a little off my rocker, it's all good.

IMG_3906.JPG

Dinner tonight was at my Aunts.....delicious lobster bisque from Whole Foods and a baked potato bar!!

I followed my own advice and changed right back into pj's asap and ended up color matching the Aunt.  PS she is a hardcore marathoner, century rider and half iron woman. AMAZING!

IMG_3910.jpg

Those would be dark chocolate covered mangoes.  Try them now. Maybe I should put some self-tanner on those feets of mine.  Oh well, part of running is having ugly feet.

IMG_3912.jpg

So, it isn't my dog, it is my aunts but she is HUGE.  Feeding her straight up PB.  This dog could eat you.

The aunt hooked us up with groceries, we did our laundry there, some candy and we had a good time.  In the almost two years we have been married we haven't had a washer or dryer.....we have never had to go to a laundromat.  We either do our laundry at my mom's, sister's or aunt's.  Spending money on running gear and an iphone trumps a washer and dryer.  Plus, it is a good excuse to have to go hang out with the fam:)

P.S. I made up for my lack of candy last week in tootsie rolls, those things are addicting.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

How often do you do laundry?

-Every Sunday.  I just run it through during family dinner.

What is your favorite chocolate dipped item?

-These mangoes were amazing but I would have to say chocolate dipped gummy bears are my absolute favorite.

Do you have cute feet?

-NO

Are you a snacker or do you do the three meals a day thing?

-I am the biggest snacker alive.  As soon as I start getting hungry I get afraid and grab a snack.  Normal? Probably not.

I definitely do NOT have cute feet either. I love your church outfit - those tights are awesome! I always have food stashed in my purse and eat when others wouldn't think to either. You should have just told them you were "teething" (ha! Loved this!!!) and needed the extra chewing to stop the pain.

I'm with you on the PJ's - I think I have the same pants!!

Giiiirl it is fine, I munch during every single one of my church services and just ignore the funny looks. Beeyotch, I like my food!

I never do laundry, you might as well go and call me a college student, I have my parents do my laundry every couple of weeks or so.

Chocolate covered pretzels!! Ahhh we make them every christmas and they are to die for, sweet and salty all at once:)

My feet are funny, my friends say my toes look "squishy" but I just call them pudgy:)

Slash I snack like it is my J-O-B, I get afraid too and get into snack attack mode. I do not know how people could only eat three times a day, I would probably start munching on pencils!

ha, I bring snacks to church for me and the hubs! totally normal.
And you wanna see some ugly feet, mine are scary. Black toe nails, long second toe, and blisters. AWESOME!

that dog is HUGE! I love him, he's almost bigger than my apartment.

I do laundry every sunday - homegirl only has so much running clothes. Chocolate covered pretzels are one of the best things ever invented. :)

laundry is an everyday thing. Husband is army, kiddo is 16 months old. Throw in a runner, and the washer & dryer are certain to get use!!

the snacking makes sense of the Teething tweet ;) LOL

i LOVE white chocolate pretzels. i bought candy in bulk last night and had to NOT go near the chocolate. could have been awful. i spent enough as is.

my feet are gross.

i do the 3 meals a day, but i love snacks. so i guess it's inbetween :) have a great monday!

Just found your blog through Skinny Runner, love it! Your feet comment made me laugh. I don't think my feet could ever make an appearance on my blog, they're THAT bad!

I'm a huge snacker as well...people always ask why but I have severely low blood sugar and can't help it any other way than by frequent snacking!!

That dog is HUGE! My favorite chocolate thing is chocolate covered pomegranate pieces, you can get a huge bag of them at Costco, and they're addicting! I am a big snacker, but I usually snack on small, healthy things like carrots or dried fruit.

Seriously I love your blog. You crack me up! My feet are horrible. I had to have foot surgery a few years ago so now I have a super awesome scar. I tell people I got it in a bar fight. I don't think they believe me, though.

That dog cracks me up!

Favorite chocolate covered food - pretzels HANDS DOWN.

Laundry day is also Sunday in our house except we have RIDICULOUS amounts of laundry. We usually do four loads every week (lights, darks, whites, baby stuff)

Definitely do not have cute feet. I had food reconstruction a little over a year ago and the scar runs down the top of my right foot. I call it my zipper foot.

I do laundry constantly. We have a small washer and dryer, but we accumulate a lot of dirty clothes because we both exercise constantly.

I have hideous feet, but at least I grew back my big toenail I lost last year from tons of running and crazy dancing at my wedding!

I snack like it's my job. It's 8:30am and I'm already contemplating my first snack of the day (I'm thinking an apple, in case you were wondering).

I love the stockings you're wearing! You're adorable!

My feet are awful. They definitely look like I've been a runner for most of my life. But I've seen worse than mine.

I cannot wait to have my own washer and dryer. Right now I have to trek down to the spooky 1st floor of my building to wash laundry in ancient machines. It's quite the experience so I try to avoid laundry for as long as I can.

I do laundry once a week in the winter and about 3 times a week in the summer. During the summer I can bomb thru 3-4 outfits a day what with running and riding. WHAT A MESS!
I like oreos dipped in hot fudge. No lie....
My feet are hideous- calloused, dry, often a bit hairy and I have freakishly long toes. SO ugly!

At January 31, 2011 at 6:52 AM , Blogger Holli Marie said...

Such an amazing church outfit! I love the leggings! I think my feet are pretty awful, but I do get comments from people that think my feet look pretty good for being a soccer player/triathlete. To each their own I guess.

Dark chocolate covered dried cherries from Cherry Republic are my faves! It's probably a Michigan thing!

I am more on the 3 meals/day routine. I sit in class (yes I am in school, not teaching) all day and usually take some fruit for the afternoon blood sugar drop. I drink obnoxious amounts of water throughout the day and eat an absolutely huge bowl of Special K Red Berries for breakfast which gets me through the morn.

Laundry eh, about 1x/week, or less.

That dog could eat ALL of us! I try to eat healthy snacks frequently b/c if I go too long without eating I don't get hungry (weird, huh?) and then it's just downhill all the way into Grouchyville.
And I do laundry on Mondays. ALL. DAY. LONG

At January 31, 2011 at 6:58 AM , Anonymous Gen said...

I have ugly feet. Here's a quote from my mom: "Gen, I've never noticed this before, but your toes are weird-shaped!"
I snack ALL of the time.....like I carry stuff around with me to munch on as if I'll never see food again!
I pretty much like chocolate dipped anything....marshmallows, strawberries, apples, pineapple, pretzels, peanut butter.....you name it!

Okay, that dog would SERIOUSLY eat me.

I am a little OCD with laundry. I do it whenever there appears to be a "half-full" basket. I get scared my husband will run out of a necessity.

I love love LOVE chocolate dipped pretzels.Salty and sweet?!? Sign me up!

My feet? My husband says my toes are the only "chubby" part of my body. Attractive, I know.

I pretty much stick to the 3 meals a day thing, although I know snacking is better for you.

That is a massive dog, lovely! I eat all the time and when I'm in peak training (60+ mile per week) I wake up at 2AM for a snack. My feet are great...two black toe nails, one nail-less toe and various pieces of old skin dangling around where blisters used to be.

That is one HUGE dog! So nice that you have family close by so that you can do laundry and visits all in one! I WISH that I could do laundry one day of the week. It's at least one load a day around here and usually more. sigh.
I bought dark chocolate covered pomegranates at Costco last time. They were beyond good! And yes, I am a snacker.

My mom did my laundry until I finally moved out of the state of Vermont. No matter how far I lived from our hometown (college and first real job) she would pick it up and bring it back...or I would drive home and do it there. It was a great excuse for us to see each other on a weekly basis. I full support continuing to spend money on running clothes instead of a washer.

Oreos. Because what's better than chocolate covered in chocolate? Oh wait, dip the chocolate covered oreos in peanut butter. THAT'S WHAT.

My feet could podium in ugliness. I am usually missing at least half a toe nail and they are roughed up from swim/bike/running every second of my free time. Embrace your ugly feet as a sign of what a bad ass awesome rock star runner you are.

Considering I have played soccer my entire life...no, my feet are not attractive. However, they have vastly improved in the year that I have not been playing. Getting pedicures used to be the biggest waste of time and money because I'd likely get stepped on with a cleat the next day and...pedicure ruined. Now my feet are just mediocre, but not beat the f up at least! I have lost too many toenails to count. Lovely, I know.

And chocolate dipped anything is great for me...but I think pretzels and raisins are my fave. or strawberries.

Also I am the 2nd biggest snacker alive after you. I absolutely have to eat every 2 hours or I'll be a grump! No tummy growling allowed here!

I like chocolate or peanut butter dipped in chocolate... I too bum other people's washing machines, but since my friends all moved, I'm a laundromat superstar. My feet are nasty too. I actually wince when I see them. Your aunt looks awesome!

First of all, that is one BIG DOG!

I am hungry all the time too. And I get really sick if I don't eat and my blood sugar drops. This morning while I was teaching my stomach was growling SO LOUD. I wish I could have had a snack.

I feel like I am doing laundry all the time. Work clothes, running clothes, kids' uniforms TKD uniforms, ack!

Chocolate and peanut butter. I told you I have a PB problem.

Puh-leez. You've seen my feet on my blog. I have no middle toenails now!! But I only have one super black nail left. What will I do when flip flop season comes back?

Shut up. That is not a dog. That is like a person dressed up in a dog suit. FOR REAL?? It seriously looks like a white gorilla or something! Love your tights by the way. :)

i LOVE it! mr. dawn literally packs a snack bag for me because we may have had one too many fights: empty stomach vs. his desire to socialize. turns out i'm happy as a clam with some cheerios in my mouth. yes, i am a toddler.

that dog is amazing. i want two.

I always have been a snacker. I like you have to eat at least every 2 hours, if not more! While I don't eat junk food I just eat too much good food so I have to remember not to snack or to drink H2O instead!

Hah! All these years of running, plus 10 of marching band? There is nothing cute about my feet. They're gross, end of story.
I do laundry probably twice a week. Mostly when I notice I'm running low on something, or the hamper is spilling over. I use the coin-op machines in our building, though. :(
I am a TOTAL snacker, and there is always food and/or candy in my purse. It must be the whole putting in mileage thing, I guess! That's hilarious that they automatically assumed you were pregnant, though!
Your family is too cute! I love the matching PJ's!!

LOVE your tights and can I have your dinner, please! Add a side sald and that could be called an ideal meal for me! P.s. I have the ugliest feet ever...I get made fun of so bad=(

I always have snacks with me. I mean, just to get me through the day today, along with lunch, I have a banana, a bag of almonds, an apple with pb, and some cheese. I love my snacks. :)

I dont have a washer/dryer either. I do my laundry ever Sunday at my parents house.

At January 31, 2011 at 1:28 PM , Blogger Megan W. said...

I do laundry every Saturday, unless we're gone all day, then Sunday is laundry day.

Chocolate covered pretzels are my fav- just the right mix of sweet/salty and crunchiness. yum!

My feet are super ugly. :(

And I'm a snacker. I'm trying to be good about snacking at work and bring only fruit to snack on. But I sure do miss muching on other foods, but at least I get that at home. :)

Sounds like you had an awesome weekend. I'm loving the baked potato bar, yummy! :) And obviously I'm a huge eater/snacker - I'll I do is comment on how delicious the food looks on your blog posts! hahah :)

I love your tights! :)

My feet are icky...especially right now considering both "pointer toenails" are in the process of falling off - the gross process where they are all nasty and purple. Once they fall off it isn't too bad...

I eat whenever I'm hungry and do laundry when I run out of "clean enough to wear" sports bras...

That dog is a beast!

And my question right back to you is: does anyone really have cute feet?

I can't go more than a couple hours without a snack either!! I get so grumpy. That's hilarious that everyone thought you were pregnant :)

Where did you get the choco covered mangoes?? I need those ASAP!! I'm a mango addict!! My feet are disgusting..but I'm a dancer so it kinda goes with the territory!!

Chocolate Mango loooks sooo good! They used to sell dark choc apricots here, but now NOWHERE sells them and it broke my heart because they were so tasty.

I eat lots. I get sooo cranky when I am hungry.

Church people love babies! People always tell me that I will be having a baby soon, or that I look good holding babies.

Churches love breeders.

I always have food with me, and eat it everywhere! On the bus, while walking around, during classes- I'm a serious snacker! :D

Urgh you do NOT want to know about my feet! Why do runners get such horrible feet?! Blisters, hard skin bleugh!

Anything chocolate covered is good. Especially chocolate covered chocolate. Mmmm...

By the way, I LOVE your church outfit! Your tights are gorgeous!!

Laundry every day... 4 kids and a husband w/ a physical job.

Chocolate-covered blueberries were doing it for me last I checked ;-)

I used to have really pretty feet... for real. But about a year ago I started getting this gross thing called chilblains.

I graze all day if I can.

And I LOVE that dog! Is it a Pyrenees?

That dog is ridiculously huge!! I do laundry on the weekends, too! It's not too bad doing laundry for two ... but, we both have lots of dirty clothes by the end of the week (work, regular clothes and gym clothes).

I am a huge snacker as well (named my blog after my love for snacking, hah!) My coworkers probably think I'm insane. I always bring a huge bag of food and take up way too much of the fridge and I'm always in the kitchen...

The reason it took me so long to respond to these posts is because I was busy eating sour patch kids and making PB cookies. BEST Combo ever is Sour patch kids with fresh out of the oven Peanut butter cookies!!

Well since I live at home I hardly do laundry - my mom wont let me get near the washer or dryer. When I lived in an apartment I would do it every three days or so. I would try not to let it stack up. brian always does laundry on Sunday and it bothers me!

Wow, and I thought my boyfriend's parent's bloodhounds were big!

I am such a snacker. I'll sometimes have a preemtive snack just to avoid the hungry feeling. But when I'm at work I have a few set opportunities to snack and sometimes I just go for it!
