Smells have calories?

Can you get fat off of smells?  My mother-in-law is the best cook and I can already feel my pants getting tighter just from the smell of dinner!  IMG_1953.JPG

Sweet cornbread that tastes like cake, steamed broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, turkey and mashed potatoes.  I always build a volcano with my potatoes and let the gravy erupt.  It's awesome and don't pretend like you don't do that.  Can you tell I really like food. Like a lot.  Oh, there will probably be strawberry ice cream in my horizon.  And you thought this would be a running blog.  It is I promise but food is my passion too!

Don't forget about the giveaway.... I bet you are sick of me talking about it.  Just remember I need friends.

Can't wait for my morning workout.... Do you look forward to your Monday morning workouts?

-Sundays are always my rest days so by the time it is Monday I am ready to sweat and be sore!

Oh my word. I am SUCH a foodie too!! Love love love my food. Hubby knows the way to make me uber happy is to bring me home some good take out grub. I'm easy to please =)
Sundays are usually my rest days too after my long run days, so I am always busy mapping my route and checkin the weather. I am going to LOVE running in more daylight.
Oh, and I go all 'Vesuvius' with my mashed taters too. As if there was another way =)

smells and calories? crazy. I know I crave things after smelling them (did you hear about them trying to make billboards that smell like meat? it was a gross news topic for a while)

HAH! I do the exact same thing with my mashed potatoes. Yummmmm. (hence my blog today about my questionable eating habits.)
I was looking forward to a good run today until I discovered that the weather report was correct and it's pouring down rain. BOOO!
Excited for your giveaway. It has my name all over it....

I wish I could run/workout in the mornings. I used to do bodypump on Saturday mornings which was ok. But if I try to run anytime before like 11, I usually feel like I"m going to die.

I totally do that with my potatoes, except I don't like gravy so it's usually butter/margarine. Or, I bury my little scoop of butter, let it melt, and then poke the pile of potatoes so it flows out.

And, with a blog title of "The Hungry Runner Girl", I'd be disappointed if there wasn't awesome looking food on your posts! ;)
