Mr. Squiggles

Workout:

45 Minutes Stairs:  Switching between levels 16-20 on fat burner mode.  Got to get my muscles ready for the next time I need to quickly jump on top of something.  You will see why shortly.

45 Minutes Elliptical:  One minute Intervals high tension at a quick speed, 20-30 second recoveries at a lower tension while still maintaining speed. Time flew by with my Runners World Magazine circa 1997

10 Minutes Abs:  Reverse crunches, planks and ball work.

Food:

Waiting for the bell to ring, blogging and eating some oatmeal with apples, pumpkin pie spice and almond butter a la Costco.  A moment of silence for Jenn.... the nearest Costco to her is 5 hour away.

(That is my sad face)

This post is completely unrelated to health or fitness so feel free to skip it.  I am traumatized.  If you don't already know I am dramatic.

As you remember I was on cloud nine last night.  I had more endorphins pumping through my veins than actual blood from teaching spin, I finally had some time to look at my FAVORITE (See below for links, these girls are my heroes!!) blogs and I had a belly full of my favorite cinnamon sugar bread.  I went into the bathroom to get ready for bed at 10:30.  I picked up my towel (see if I ever try to tidy up again) and I heard a thump and something scattered over my toes.  M.O.U.S.E.  I screamed so loud the neighbors called and I couldn't unlock the stupid door to get out for at least 15 seconds.  This is the second time we have had a mouse.  My bladder ruptured because I didn't get up to 3 times during the night to go to the bathroom like I usually do (no, I am not prego or diabetic).

Billy named him Mr. Squiggles.  He lived in Ukraine for two years.  This is nothing compared to what he has lived with.  Read about my previous experience with animals in my bathroom here. Today is going to be a good day and I am moving on!

On a very happy note below is a list of my favorite running/healthy living blogs.  I will be looking at these today during my lunch break.  Reading these blogs is therapeutic for me and will get my mind off of Mr. Squiggles making a bed in my Uggs and Saucony's Racers.

oh my word! mice freak me out like almost nothing else...except bats. i used to live in vermont...and i lived in a 3rd floor apartment...and as soon as it started to get cold and freezing out i'm pretty sure an entire army of mice decided they wanted to live under my sink. we literally killed 13 of them in a little under 2 months. seriously. i was soooo traumatized. that christmas i got like a zillion mouse traps from my students. i would update them daily on the number of mice that were dying in my house. grossssss!

hope you don't deal with anything that scaring.

Thanks for the link love lady! Funnily enough, I was wondering why I was getting so many hits from my Wordpress site (my current address is just faithfitnessfun.com). It must be from you. :) No worries though. I know it must be confusing since I have to comment on many Blogger blogs with that address. And I really appreciate you listing me with such other fabulous ladies. You're awesome too!

And lastly...ICK on the mouse. I would have freaked!

Oh man! I'm pretty sure we have mice in our attic. Once when we were taking down insulation in the basement three DEAD mice fell out of the ceiling! I don't go in the basement anymore.

Also, I stumbled on your blog today and I love yours too! Totally following!
