I am a Hoarder.

Workout:

2 hours of cleaning out my room (we use the second bedroom as my closet and I let Billy have a desk in the corner).  I am a hoarder.  There, I said it.  I finally got rid of some clothes and shoes that I have had since 9th grade.  I literally had to pack everything up that I was going to give away as quickly as possible and put it into my car because I know that in about 3 hours I am going to change my mind and want to keep my Abercrombie and Fitch shirts that are 3 sizes too small.  However, I know l am way too lazy to go back out into the rain and bring it in from the car.

Cleaning really is a workout.   I bet my closet room will stay clean until at least Thursday. I have a problem with the whole hanging your clothes back up after you wear them.  The sniff test has 100% accuracy for me.

Here is Summer Gear that I got at Gap yesterday (5 shirts, 2 dresses and 2 cardigans for a little over $100....I literally get a high from getting good deals).

Now if Utah would just have good weather again and stop snowing in the mountains and raining 34 out of the last 50 days (Utah used to be a desert and now it is the rainforest) than I could actually wear the goods.  I can't believe that I actually spelled desert correctly.  I always spell it dessert because it is always on my mind.

Do not be surprised if I rotate between these two tee's every day this summer.  They seriously are the most comfortable things I have ever put on in my life.

IMG 6180

Another hoarder side of me is shown through my lunch......

IMG 6173

I always keep the tinfoil plate/bowl thingees whenever I go to Costa Vida or Cafe Rio.  I just rewash them and use them for my salads and cereal (did I just admit that I prefer my cereal in a bowl that fits at least 12 servings of cereal in it at one time?!?!)

Into my salad went a tortilla, mexican rice, mango salsa, chicken and beef (leftovers from last Sunday, hopefully I don't die), carrots and celery.

Gotta run and hurry and jam pack my purse with snacks to eat throughout church and everyone can think I am pregnant because who can't go 3 hours without eating unless you are pregnant?!?! This girl.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Are you a hoarder?  Is it hard or easy for you to throw things away?

-It kills me inside to get rid of things because I start thinking about all of the memories (usually stains of delicious foods that I have eaten) and get all teary eyed and want to keep it forever.

Do you get a high from finding good deals?

-Yes, I love saving money on things but I can't figure out why I don't get that same high from saving even more money and not buying the dang stuff.

What room in your house/apartment is the hardest for you to keep clean?

-The room with my clothes and shoes.....From this day forward I am going to learn how to use hangers more often.

You're too funny. I actually hate keeping things. I'm not a hoarder in the least bit - I'm always donating things/throwing things out!!! Except for my clothes. Well, I guess I"m not a hoarder, I just have a lot of them!!!

For my Summer vacation, my plan is to purge all the closets in the house! I need to get rid of things ASAP! And being a newlywed only makes the closets that much fatter! I tend to be a hoarder but I'm working on it.

Of COURSE I get a high from a good deal! I LOVe saving money and I wish I could be an extreme couponer.

My hardest room to keep clean.... the tub. I know that's not a room per se...but it might as well be!

Haha I am a reforming hoarder too... I've been getting better since having to move to a teeny dorm room! Now I just kind of wish I didn't have anything because it's such a pain to pack twice a year. Sigh. ;)

And I LOVE finding good deals! I'm also getting a little better about not just buying things I don't need because they're cheap... coz let's be honest if I didn't need them in the firt place I'm just losing money :P lol.

YEP hoarder right here!! I keep EVERYTHING just in case I want it sometime in the future haha!

Um, can I have your wardrobe please?! And hehe I'm pregnant too then I guess, cos I have to eat every couple of hours or I'll chew my own arm off. I think my fellow churchers are used to it by now:)

I just donated 3 garbage bags of clothes this past week! It was really hard getting rid of some of it, they had sentimental value.

Love all your new gap gear :D

I LOVE to throw things out! Makes me feel so good. Wish I had more time to do it. On the other hand, I also love a good deal. You got some really cute stuff!

I don't hold any sentimental value to stuff, but I still sometimes have a hard time mustering up motivation to just go through it and get rid of useless junk. So it still piles up.

I like finding good deals, but I'm lazy! And I don't like shopping that much. So I rarely put forth the effort it takes to really find the good stuff.

Wow, this comment makes me look super lazy! Guess I am ;). Your clothes are so cute! Good finds!

Totally do not love hoarding at all! I love keeping things clean and neat looking... however not everyone does so then their things overtake my space!

Groupon.com is my best friend. It would be my super best friend if I had enough money to purchase the deals though!

And you're not alone... my boyfriend takes the little condiment dishes from restaurants and takes them home to use them for his own condiments! lol

Cleaning is totally a workout! It isn't called "housework" for nothing!

Sweet deals! Summer clothes shopping is always my favorite! I am such a hoarder - I always tell myself I will use or wear the thing, then I never do.

Looks like you got some awesome deals yesterday!

I keep clothes for SO long. There is always a tiny bit of hope that it may come back in style. Or if that is an obvious no I always think I could use my ugly clothes for a theme party or halloween.

P.S. I totally use the sniff test too (and just hope I didn't wear it with the same people the first time I wore it...)

I can't wait to go shopping for summer! I wish there was an outlet mall closer to where I live...I could go for a good deal or two!

It kills me to throw certain things away! Guilty. I"m just afraid I'll throw it out and the next day of course find a use for it. :)

And finding an awesome deal is always a sure fire way to get a rush!

you're so funny! lol... i'm a hoarder too, but i've been trying to get rid of stuff every weekend so that my fiance can move in in June :D
I went to target and had a shopping spree... 1 dress, 1 shirt, 2 pairs of shoes, a floppy hat, a purse, and 1 cardigan for less than $100 woohoo!! :) lol... whoops, i was supposed to be getting rid of stuff... oh well ;)

Ha that's awesome. I'm a hoarder.. and then I throw things away. Usually when I have to move, cuz I don't want to deal with it anymore. I'll keep something for YEARS and then toss it like THAT! :p

My husband is reading your blog over my shoulder and he chuckled at your snacks. I cannot go more than 3 hours without eating either! Today amidst some rigorous house hunting, I had to pull into the gas station and get a mini pack of Fig Newtoms... I thought I was going to eat my arm. Glad to know I'm not alone.

I could describe myself exactly that way regarding letting go of certain things... exactly.

Yes, I get totally jazzed when I find a great deal :)

No room is not hard :( I have 4 kids and a blog to write... lol... who has time to clean?

-Gawd my closet is a MESS. In fact my whole room is. When I have to move home Im so worried to fit it all in my home bedroom again! I try and only hoard other items that mean something to me, unfortunately or fortunately I have good friends so thats like 3297382y6829372893 things ha ha ha.

Do you get a high from finding good deals?

-I love love love a bargain. It comes from my mum! I got a leather/looks leather jacket the other day for 9 pounds and a dress for ten that was originally fifty and I was EXCITED!

What room in your house/apartment is the hardest for you to keep clean?

-My own room defs. Im very respectful about common space but my own room looks like a bomb hit it!

I'm somewhat of a hoarder. I will keep things for a long time but eventually lose the sentimental attachment and will throw it away. I'm trying to downsize anyway. I like neat and orderly. :-)

I LOVE getting good deals. I always feel good about it.

Not a hoarder, I actually love to pitch things. i also decorate like a minimalist, and my mom keeps asking when we are going to decorate, even though we have lived in our house 5 years.

i have trouble keeping the bathroom clean. I am surprised I am not bald by how much hair is on the floor, and my weeks worth of work clothes tends to pile up in there.

People at work wonder if I am preggo because i snack during passing periods. You's think after years of seeing me do this is not a pregnancy thing. You are down to days girl. Lucky you.

I can't keep the bathroom clean-it gets so gross from me blow drying my hair. Ahhhhh!

I too am a hoarder but I hoard food! If something is on sale that I really like I buy minimum 5 boxes/bags. I love to see my shelves well stocked! haha

I used to hoard my clothes, but I've gotten better! Actually, I was just thinking today about cleaning out my closet...so much stuff in there that I NEVER wear. I'm a sucker for good deals and sales for sure! I don't remember the last time I bought something full price. We have a hard time keeping our kitchen clean...I think it's because we are always cooking/eating! Love your new tees. :) xoxo

There must be something in the Utah air today (besides impending rain) that is making people clean. I just did my post today on my messy gym bag....having to clean out an entire room sounds much harder!!!!! Good fines at the gap!

I feel your pain on bipolar weather!! Your buys are legit! I too get a HIGH from deals--makes me feel soooo much better.

How excited are you to go to Cali this summer?!!!! yaaaaayy!!

I like your new purchases. I'm sure you'll look stunning in them all. I loaded up at the Gap last week and got super excited over good deals.

I never had the chance to be a hoarder because I've moved so many times in my life - probably at least 30 or 40 times. So since I lived out of a suitcase a lot and moved around so frequently, I was forced to get rid of things or else I'd have to lug them around with me from place to place. And that effort wasn't worth it to me. Plus, John and I really are minimalists and despise clutter. So we go through our house every once and a while and just get rid of things. It's kind of cathartic and makes it a lot easier to keep things clean and organized, which we both have to have to function well.

Well, I hope you have a lovely Monday friend! Hugs from Kansas.

I love your Gap finds! I basically only buy cheap stuff...except I want to buy lots of it since I'm saving money on the sales, which defeats the purpose a little bit!
I definitely don't hoard stuff, if anything I throw too much away---I hate clutter!
:)

Funny story about the word "desert"...I was writing up my fiance's resume and he was in the Marine Corp during Desert Storm(yes he's old..lol). Well I wrote "dessert storm". Thank goodness we caught it before we sent it out! lol

The most clutter award goes to the kids playroom, I like to call them my little tornadoes. :)

Too funny! I have that same issue - except mine is because I have a problem with losing hangers in the closet. Like most people have an issue with losing socks in the dryer, well my closet likes to eat my hangers. So my clothes go everywhere. Must be a girl thing!

I always find clothes difficult to throw away, because even if I never wear them, I feel like the second I throw them away, I'll find an occasion where it would have been the perfect outfit!! Otherwise, I'm okay with letting go of things.

I am a hoarder. I have school notes saved from high school still! Why?! I really have no idea! Every few months I do a major cleaning in my room and try to throw things out that I don't need... too many emotional connections though.

I have that SAME dress from ON. It's adorable on and SO comfortable. Love it!

I am definitely the opposite of a hoarder. If my husband can't find something, his first instinct is to ask if I threw it out.

Sad. But so true. I just want to get rid of EVERYTHING.

I'm a hoarder about some things and then others I'm so quick to give away that sometimes I have regrets! I just recently cleaned out my closet too and got rid of some clothes I've had for 10 years or so. It was hard.
Thanks again for all your support! I love ya!

I am a hoarder. It's twofold, I am lazy so don't want to deal with going through stuff and I always feel sad about throwing things away.. "I MIGHT wear it again.." when I won't. I think I better go through stuff soon though.
It's funny, hubby says I am the laziest person ever, except when it comes to exercise. It's true! I will exercise for hours happily, but then ask me to fold the laundry or rake some leaves.. no thanks. haha

I always have a hard time giving away clothes because I never know if/when I might need it! Very limited closet/drawer space makes it necessary though or I can't fit the new things :)

I am definitely a hoarder. I have clothes I haven’t been able to fit into for 7 years. When we move I’m having an apartment sale and just letting it all go. I do love finding good deals and using coupons. We have an office/gym/everything room and as a result it’s always junky. Shoes are kicked off and left for days, clothes are hung on the treadmill instead of in the closet. Anything that doesn’t have a place goes in this room, it’s a nightmare.

I actually love getting rid of things and simplifying my life...I feel like I have so much more clarity and I NEED order or I go insane.

I do get a high from getting good deals! I got a pair of SUPER cute pants for $4 last week...the best part is I really wanted them when they were $40 but I didn't want to spend that much!

I hate cleaning bathrooms, but I also hate when my bathrooms aren't clean. It's sort of a catch 22 and it really sucks.

I am such a hoarder too! I feel like to try to go through my clothes like every 6 months, but 2 days later all my drawers are full again somehow and i feel like I accomplished absolutely nothing. Heeyyyy uhhh did you give the clothes away already? Any cute ones left over you want me to have?? :) :)
