Eating them out of business.

After catching up on Modern Family and The Office yesterday, the B-Money and I went through our gift cards to decide where to go to dinner.  We came across a Magelby's gift card that I got from school.

Other determining factors for our choice of where to eat:  I do not want to wait longer than 55 seconds for a table and I want somewhere within 5 blocks of our home.

Magelby's won. They won my heart when we walked by their buffet until they told me the price (AKA as much as I make in one day at work:)  Then they told me you could get the soup, salad, SHRIMP and DESSERT bar for way cheaper.  Heck, I would have paid the same price just for the dessert bar and be happy.

Billy had to explain to the waitress that it is normal for me to nearly pee my pants when it comes to my favorite foods.

I think I ate more shrimp than most 40 year olds have eaten in their lifetime.

The fruit was AMAZING, the spinach salad was really good and that is some sort of delicious chicken salad in the back.  This may be the new cafe rio in my eyes:)

Billy couldn't pass down the bacon burger and wanted you to think that he had a worm coming out of his mouth. IMG 5934

Added bonus.....TV's with sports on.  That way when I am talking to my chocolate cake telling it how much I love it, Billy has something to focus on rather than questioning his choices in a wife.

Do not leave me alone in the dessert bar.  I accidentally put on way too much raspberry sauce and whipped cream on my shortcake.  PS Chocolate cake and raspberry sauce should be eaten once a day for optimal mental health.

We ended the night with watching "Just Friends" and I set a new record of only sleeping through five minutes of it!

And that my friends is how we celebrated 2 years of marriage.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What are the determining factors for you when it comes to determining where to eat out?

-Obviously heavenly food, gift cards/coupons and a short wait.....when I am hungry, I am hungry.

Favorite perfectly ripe melon (cantaloupe, honeydew, watermelon)?

-I LOVE CANTALOUPE and watermelon comes in a close second.

What is the BEST movie that you have watched lately?

-Just Friends was hilarious!!

My bf would die to try that burger that Billy got. I don't even eat red meat and salivated a little just looking at it!!!

I am a creature of habit when eating out but also somewhere that I know I can get a reasonably healthy main, so as to be able to have dessert also weighs in. At the moment I am loving Hard Rock for their chicken citrus salad and our local pub for a cheap steak and salad.

Watermelon is by far my favourite melon...When it is crisp and watery and firm...LOVE!

Best movie I've watched lately was Fast 5..Not much of a plot but Paul Walker is nice to look at and we saw it in Gold Class which = recliner chairs and nachos + iced chocolate :)

I love the way y'all celebrated - sounds good to me! We choose where we're going to go out to eat based on what we never cook/don't know how to cook at home...like sushi! We've been out to dinner twice this week for the first time in ages. It's fun, but I also love having dinner at home. xo

Looks like a fun anniversary night! Good food & lots of choices, especially veg choices are my favorite or anyplace with sushi.

When I visit my Grandma in Provo, we ALWAYS go to Magelby's. LOVE that place.

My husband and I try to limit meals eaten out because we both tend to make less-than-healthy choices, i.e. french fries/steak/mashed potatoes/DESSERTS when we eat at restaurants. Once a week, we go ALL OUT. Every other meal? Eaten at home... and 90% healthy. :-)

omg, that all looks amazing! I usually go with what I have a coupon or groupon for, but sometimes it's all about what I'm reallllly craving too. I love all melon, but could eat watermelon all day long. Best movie I've seen recently? Water for Elephants, so so good!

Sounds like a great date night! I usually go with what I am craving when it comes to going out to eat and sometimes price is a factor depending on which day of the week it is lol

I'll eat at any vegan restaurant! I also love Mexican places because it's super easy to veganize things on their menu and they serve a lot of beans!

I love all melon! I think watermelon might be my favourite summer treat. it's so sweet and refreshing.

I love the way you and Billy celebrated. It is perfect! Good food, dessert, and a movie is always good in my opinion!

I can quote almost all of Just Friends, I have seen it so many times and every time is just as funny as the last.

Ohhh I love cantaloupe. I went through a phase where I would eat one everyday. That was an expensive habit, haha. Actually now I want one. Hmm, better go to the market next door.

There are so many wonderful restaurants in New Orleans, but we keep ending up at the same places! I think our criteria is walking distance!

I hate to wait at restaurants too! I think some of my recent favorite movies have been Seven Pounds, Soul Surfer, and Country Strong. All of these are so good!

LOL I'm sure "Just Friends" was even funnier in your dreams!

I love how you guys go to restaurants based on gift cards. I'd love to eat all my meals free, but don't have enough people sending me gift cards! Tell me how you do it ;)

Love ripe watermelon :) It's nature's sugar.

As a licensed clinical social worker, I can attest that chocolate cake/raspberry sauce is critical for strong mental health. Mmmmmmmmm.

we don't have too much options here as far as variety is concerned. So it usually comes down to: Do we want Chinese, Thai, or Chili's? LOL

I LOVE watermelon!

I am going to tell you something heartbreaking. Are you ready? You might want to sit down.

There is not a SINGLE buffet style restaurant in my city. Not a single dessert bar. NONE. NOTHING. The closest is a couple of places that have salad bars, which would be GREAT ....except they're really...uhhh...not good =(

So basically, there's nowhere for me to get all-you-can-eat anything. And for anyone who loves dessert as much as I do, this is a real tragedy :(

my boyfriend and I decide where to eat out by opening my coupon devider and seeing which Groupons we have not yet used, since I purchase restaurant groupons religiously. If you don't know what groupon is please tell me... its the best thing ever especially if you try to be mega frugal like me! here is their web site if you need to know http://www.groupon.com/r/uu567153

and no I do not work for Groupon I am just mildly obsessed!

congrats on two years of marriage!

The expense from the bracelets and also charms varies greatly, and is dependent a good deal within the kind of materials the bracelet or elegance is produced from. The primary supplies employed are Sterling Silver, Oxidised Sterling Silver or 14ct Gold. Beads are produced from sterling silver; Murano translucent glass beads, or maybe a combination of Sterling silver with gold. Some beads also consist of valuable gems. what ever the choice, there's some thing ideal for everyone's pocket--again, some thing that would make them a highly favorite gift.

Giving a Pandora elegance bracelet is in fact a amazing treat for any youthful woman or teenager. usually you maybe can acquire the bracelet by itself with 3 or 4 beads witout a doubt within the bracelet (they are nicely separated, even in the occasion you only have several charms on them.) Then, men and women can combine towards bracelet by offering charms for birthdays, xmas or other specific times which include a unforgettable vacation, graduating from high-school, and later on the delivery of her 1st child, etc.

We rarely go out to eat since we're poor and are terrible at making good meal decisions when we eat out. Oh well. Good thing I know how to cook!

We watched the Dilemma last night and it was pretty hilarious.

Favorite melon is definitely cantalope, in fact, it's the only melon I like!

Looks like a super fun anniversary! You guys are so cute!
