Change of plans

4 a.m. call from the guy we were buying a car from = sadness.  He said the car wouldn't be okay to drive back so we are going to have to ship the car to our house now.

Our view as we left this morning.

2 days off work + paid plane tickets=  Southern California!  Billy's family lives in San Clemente (heaven on earth).  We try to get there as much as possible.  80 degree weather and my favorite workout buddy (my momther-in-law is hard core), no complaints here!  Oh, and some Wahoo's fish tacos.  Yes.

Last night we found a little Italian restaurant near our hotel and we were told that we had to get the calzones.  I got the vegetarian calzone with green peppers, onions, mushrooms and pineapples.  The red sauce was to die for.

We watched the Wedding Planner at the hotel and fell asleep until 4:)

Airport food sucks.  I was not about to miss breakfast for the second day in a row.  I become a gorilla when I don't have breakfast.

Yogurt, granola and something that resembled strawberries.  My blood sugar is through the roof right now....

Do you have to eat breakfast everyday?  Do you get grumpy if you don't?

I'm with you. Anytime I have to do meals at the airport, I try to stash granola bars or fruit in my carry-on. Worst case, I spend $5 to buy an apple or banana... a lot of shops usually have them. One trick I've learned? Put an empty water bottle in your carry-on. You can't take water through security, but you can fill it up from a water fountain once you're through and avoid selling your first born to buy 8oz of water.

Ummm YES to having to eat breakfast. It is actually my fave meal of the day. Sometimes I get excited about it before I go to bed. I am so stinking jealous you are in Cali...amazing.

Pineapple in a calzone?? That sounds like something I need to try!

I neverrrr used to eat breakfast, but when I started working at my last job (when I worked 3-11-pm), breakfast was one of the two guaranteed meals I had each day. I never know if I was going to get a chance to eat dinner (work was that bad!), so I always ate breakfast. Now I eat it pretty much every day because I'll fall over at work (new job = 7:30am-8pm) if I don't eat since lunch sometimes doesn't happen until 2pm!

Okay, maybe I don't like nursing that much. In summary: Eat breakfast.

You were in my neck of the woods this weekend... Our weather was RAD!!

I am not a giant breakfast eater. I can do something small (think toast, or a yogurt, Or fruit). But if I had my way, I'd sleep till noon and then eat a full egg, bacon, sausage, potatoes breakfast every day.

Breakfast needs to be consumed within 30 minutes of waking or the hunger beast comes out in the form of me yelling at the Husband. I am the grouchiest person without breakfast@!
