A LIFE-ALTERING QUESTION

Workout:

15 miles on the treadmill, 1% incline.  7:47 pace (Last two miles @ 7:24).

At mile 9 I wanted to stop, but I promised myself an ice cream cone if I finished, it totally worked.  6 year old in a 25 year old body.

I know I am kind of annoying about this whole Billy running thing but he texted me today to ask me on a running date after school.

Tears of joy welded up in my eyes, and I couldn't hold my composure.

IMG_0135.JPG

This is huge to me.  I get so excited when people get into running and start to love it but i get ridiculously excited when my BESTEST FRIEND in the whole wide world gets into it.

Our children are going to be fast as cheetah's.

Today's total mileage=18.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It has been a week since the mouth surgery and I have not had anything besides tuna, mashed potatoes, yogurt, quiche, smoothies, ice cream, popsciles and soup.

I am missing real food big time, especially the 3 lbs of broccoli I normally eat each week.  Luckily, I can start incorporating more foods now, the mouth is healing wonderfully and my body is screaming for some of my favorite foods.

After my mashed potatoes and tuna lunch today, (that I am SO sick of) I was thinking about a very important life-altering question.

If I could eat anything in the world right this very second.....what would it be?

I first thought, "well duh.....graham crackers dipped in cream cheese frosting and a 1 quart bowl filled with swedish fish."

But then I though, that's too easy I had that everyday last month, so I went back deep into thought about this important question (it even made me late to my next class).

I decided if I could eat anything this very second it would have to be unlimited sushi (it takes a lot of sushi to fill me up) and crab dipped in copious amounts of butter.

IMG_1199.JPG

Hey Billy, wanna go to Vegas tomorrow and go to the Belagio Buffet....pretty please?!?!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Love sushi or hate sushi?

What are you doing tonight?

-We are cool and going to one of those things that they try to sell you a timeshare so that we can get a free vacation?!?! Sounds too good to be true...it  probably is.  I mean, maybe we will end up buying a condo when we don't even have a house and live off a teacher's salary while paying BYU ridunk amounts of money.

If you could have any food right this second what would it be, calories do not count.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Shout out to the Bro-in-law that ran 26.2 miles all on his own for fun.  He is training for his first marathon in APRIL.  I think I married into the coolest family ever.

Loooovee sushi! I am a never-ending pit when it comes to sushi. And i like the deep fried stuff.

If I could eat anything right now, it would be a large fry (with fry sauce) from Five Guys. I've been craving them all week. And I'd probably have a burger too. Duh.

We are going out of town this weekend otherwise, I'd be at your ice cream social event:( Have fun!

I love sushi. We will probably end up eating it tonight, that's our normal old married couple Friday night.

If I could eat anything right this second it would be a Little Debbie Valentine cake. I just need a sweet afternoon snack to hold me over until sushi.

I hope you get to eat some yummy stuff this weekend.

I love sushi.

So glad your mouth is healing well :)

If I could eat anything right now it would be some pastry something made with wheat and sugar and chocolate and hopefully some whipped cream... I'd love a 'religieuse' (has all those things in it) but I'd need to eat it in France for it to really be perfect ;-)

I love sushi! Sometimes I fantasize my husband wrapped in rice and seaweed. If I could have ANYTHING right now..it would be some serious Southern ribs..macaroni & cheese...mashed potatoes...you know, the fixins. The more I run, the more meat I crave! and giant amounts of cheese...

That is so crazy we commented at the same time this a.m. I am hoping that mouth heals ASAP so you can return to a broccoli and Swedish fish stir-fry! ha! Yay for running dates--so much fun to encourage each other! Your B-I-L caught the ultra bug from you!!

My favorite food is SUSHI--I could have it everyday and love about anything you put in a seaweed/rice roll!

The hubs and I are vegging tonight with a movie--he has baseball all weekend, so I am getting him while I can!

OK, everyone's saying that they love sushi, but let's be honest: I love sushi the most. If anyone needs to be friends, it's us. :)

I'm SO proud of Billy and so happy for you! It's awesome that you love running so much and that he started running so that you could both have an awesome workout together.

I finished catching up on your blog yesterday so... well I guess there's no "so," I just did it. I had a day off from work today and was constantly checking Blogger to see if you'd posted. I'm only a little bit stalker.

Tonight hubby and I are going to an adult birthday party. Not as kinky as it sounds, just a birthday party for a friend that does not involve kids. I haven't been to a party like that in a while, can't wait!!

Have a fabulous weekend and hope you get some broccoli in you real soon!!

okay, now I'm going to sound stupid probably but I can't tell if you were joking or not with the comment you just left me about your eyelashes. Really? because I know people that do get enhancements to their eyelashes so that is why I can't tell if you are serious or not. Ha ha. And I'm not as disciplined as you think...it just gets harder to keep the weight off when you get older and after having kids. My metabolism is not what yours is. :)

does he keep up with you? mr. dawn's main objection to exercising with me at all is that he is self conscious about me be "better" and or "faster" than he is at the things that we'd do. no matter how much i say that i love running at ALL paces, he refuses to slow down...so he tries running all out and then ends up HATING it cause its so hard. oi.
