We Need Your Vote

Obviously Billy wasn't too excited to re-inact Lady and The Tramp spaghetti scene but he went along with it anyway.

IMG_2987.JPG

You know it is a good day when the only two outfits you wear all day are gym clothes and pajamas.

It's even a better day when you are surrounded by frosting, candy, your best friends and oreos.

We need your help though.  My MIL and FIL refuse to choose the best gingerbread house.

Something about we are all special and that we are a little too competitive and we need to remember the true meaning of Christmas blah blah blah.

You have to vote which house you like the best.

If you vote for mine we will automatically be best friends and I will send you your favorite treat in the mail.  JK...you won't know who's is who's until tomorrow.

OPTION A: CHRISTMAS MASSACRE, THE DRAGONS REVENGE

OPTION B:  CANDY HAVEN

IMG_3015.JPG

IMG_3009.JPG

OPTION C: PARK CITY PARADISE

Gingerbread Houses-008.jpg

Gingerbread Houses-026.jpg

The choice is up to you.  Our fate lies in your hands.

Please Vote Either A, B or C.  It is kind of a big deal to me.

What are you doing for Christmas Eve?

-Dinner, Christmas Movie, PJ opening (everyone matches, it is awesome), Billy will give me a foot massage and feed me hand-peeled grapes as we watch the movie.

I vote option B (a classic!), although I like the creativity of option A (the bite out of the house) and the skiing bears in option C is very cute.

Option B! So cute! I'm working for my parents on Christmas Eve. They let all of their employees off and my parents, me and my sister work. : )

Oh my gosh, this is so hard! Those are some of the most awesome gingerbread houses I have ever seen!

Okay Option A. The bleeding gingerbread man is hilarious. Option B. The bridge and fishing gingerbread man are so legit. Option C. Seriously, a ski lift? Brilliant!

I'm gonna have to go with C!

Oh gosh, this is tough! I kinda like Parkside paradise. I love licorice though. :)

WOW they are all so good!!!!!

I'm going to go with Option C! I love oreos and teddy grahams and there is a skill lift! AWESOME :)

Tonight: my family is coming over! We do christmas eve with my family and it's sports themed this year, we don't do traditional christmas ;) it's usually a themed christmas ;)

I love these gingerbread houses!! Y'all are so profesh. I can't vote for the massacre and I have a hunch that's NOT yours. Points for creativity though. Then my instinct was to go with B b/c I LOVE gum drops AND Dots. Like, my 2 favorite childhood candies. Then I saw the Teddy Graham ski lift and realized I was torn between B & C. I can't choose! Please don't make me. ;)

We are going to a big, fun, festive party tonight with Billy's family. Tomorrow we make our rounds to visit everyone in both of our families. And I think I'll wear pajamas the whole time just because I can. :) xo

Awesome Post! Mom and Dad love them all and are voting for 'C'. I am voting for 'A' because that seems like my sense of humor. Jamie will be voting when she gets off work. Although Jace has yet to experience candy, he seems to like 'B'. We love you, have a great Christmas Eve.

Cute picture too!

Likin' B! The bridge is pretty awesome.

Christmas Eve plans, I really have no idea. I think we're supposed to be making gingerbread houses today... with graham crackers, not gingerbread.

Oh Goodness, I hope I don't get this wrong!

I'd have to go for option B because it's so neat and organised. Plus, it's the house I'd most like to live in if I were made out of gingerbread...

My xmas eve is irrelevant - I'm going to live vicariously through yours. And that first pic just about made my day...Billy is such a good sport!

Um, your chrismtas eve sounds just like ours...pjs, movie, some kind of dinner (nothing too fancy), and I we are also going to the Christmas eve service at church...candle lighting.
Thank you for your awesome blog Janae. It has been fun to "meet" or find you at the end of this 2010 year. Love your spirit! XO

oh my, I can't believe there are not more votes for A! So I'm commenting a second time on behalf of A! Come on people?! It is clearly the most original and unconventional house out of the three! Love it! makes me smile and laugh. one of a kind!

When I first saw the work that went into the licorice sidewalk on B, that was my vote....until I saw C!!! The ski lifts and ski-ing teddies are just too adorable!! C! C! C!

At December 24, 2010 at 10:56 AM , Blogger Amanda@runninghood said...

but if I was voting for the most beautiful and charming...it would be a toss up between b and c. But C is amazing and probably the one you did..I mean how cute is that little bear chair lift?! But A...love the bite out of that house. Okay, seriously, I'm done stalking your gingerbread houses.

Love them all but gotta go with C. How can you resist bubble gum skis and tiny bears?? Oh and the chair lift. Seriously...adorable.

Christmas Eve: workout done, food, food, food, did I mention food? :)

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Awwh! I love Lady and the Tramp! Cute :)

C is my fave! I love the wee bear skiiers! However they all look delicious. Admirable restraint that none of them have been bitten!

Today I did a kenpo-boxing workout and now it's off to wrap all my mom's presents. I've been really good this year, so hopefully this gift wrap extravaganza will also involve a Starbucks peppermint mocha. :D

Have a fabulous Christmas Eve!!

I love the bridge in B, so cute! A kind of frightens me (haha) and C is just so darn creative that I have to vote for it. I've never seen anything like it.

B wins in Presentation
C wins in Creativity
A wins in Freakiness

:)

At December 24, 2010 at 11:34 AM , Blogger Anitra said...

A was definitely done by a guy and if I was a guy I would probably vote for that one. B is so perfect and colorful and creative w the ice fishing and fire and cool bridge and probably yours. C is so creative and I love that one too. This is so hard.

I vote for B because that's probably the one I would want to come across and hang out in. I don't like gum drops, but I love Andes mints.

I hope yours wins.

Still last minute shopping today!

Merry Christmas.

WOW! Jason voted immediately for A. The dragon theme is so creative! And of course, the blood strewn crime scene appealed to his forensics side! I love them all, so this is a difficult vote. All the roofing material was wonderful, by the way. The ski lift was too cute! I'm gonna go with B for all the gumdrops (one of my favorite candies!). So one "A" and one "B" from the Sharp's.

I have to go with A. It's just too dang funny. And it reminds me of something my Dad did a few years ago...

My Mom always sets up this really pretty Christmas village thingie on top of their piano. It's a little town with the bank and post office and lots of other buildings, complete with streetlamps and cars and people walking holding hands...

Well, Dad went and bought a bunch of those little green army men and staged them so that it looked like the village was under seige--a sniper on the roof of the bank, the couple holding hands was laying on their back with a soldier with his bayonette standing over them about to stab them...

It was CLASSIC!!!

Without Question, the reason your inlaws couldn't vote was because your B house was so completely superior to the A and C offerings, that there is a danger of permanent familial rift if they breech the neutrality stance.
