Last Meal

If I was to chose the last meal I would ever eat it would have to be what I had for breakfast/lunch/dinner today.  We woke up and watched TV for a while, can I tell you how amazing it was to just sleep in and relax the morning away.  I haven't done that for a while!

We packed up and then headed to Hash House for breakfast.  Man vs. Food has gone to this restaurant so you know its going to be good.  It was noon and we decided we would just have one big meal today.  I like that, I was able to indulge and get exactly what my body/mind wanted too. I wasn't about to order a salad.

Billy and I ordered a snickers pancake and waffles with fried chicken to split.  IMG_1753.JPG

I don't remember the last time I had fried chicken.  It was glorious.

There was bacon infused in the waffles.  I don't need to say anything more.

Back on the road again.  I am going to read Runners World, watch Friends and nap.  Life is good.

P.S. Veggies, lean proteins, whole grains and fruit have never sounded so good.  This next week I will be eating enough of those things to feed an army. My body is craving nutrients.  I have good news... for the first time in twelve years I don't feel guilty about my unhealthy food choices that i made this weekend.  My body is telling me that it LOVES to eat healthy foods and that once in a while it loves to eat fried sugary goodness and then pass out in the backseat of the car.

Tell me what your body craves after a weekend of indulging!!!

-Back to broccoli galore and 6 a.m. spin classes for me!

I love how you make it seem like you are not domestic, but you are so domestic! You whip up the most beautiful meals, with so many healthy things! I don't think I have even tried half of the veggies you use on your salads. I horrible at cooking things like that. Maybe you can teach me. P.S. I may or may not have just read through every single post on my lunch break and now it's my prep so I should probably start being productive. I love that you plan out your meals for the week. That is amazing and can I please come watch you do it one time and I'll make mine too! I need to learn. That would be so helpful. Hopefully I can make it to spin this week. I need to get a workout routine now that b-ball is starting. The morning would be the best time to do it, but I honestly don't think I could wake up as early as you and be to work by 7. Lets do a yogurt date or I'll come over and we can make applesauce!

After indulging way too much my body craves veggies like it's gone mad. Snickers pancake? My stomach's growling now!

So I went on my run last night (first one after the weekend) and I literally almost puked. With the trash can 2 feet away from the treadmill, I kept reviewing in my mind how I was going to get over there when my Hash House meal all came back up! Haha but I have to say it was totally worth it! We just can't do that every weekend :)
