Confessions

I had a handful of skittles at 9 a.m. this morning

I don't shower after Spin Wednesday nights. I am sorry Billy.

If a student asks me a question I don't know I tell them they will learn more if they research it on the internet then if I was to tell them the answer.

I like hot-dogs, a lot.  More specifically J-dawgs with more pickles than meat.  The buns have to be soft and fluffy.

IMG_1443.jpg

Billy and I sometimes eat doritos, cereal, pretzels and swedish fish in bed.  Sorry, no photos...that would just be awkward.

A lot of my grocery shopping is done out of my mom's pantry and fridge.  Hopefully, she isn't reading this post.

I eat more than my husband

I fall down a lot, I am a klutz.  My husband even captures it on film.  I don't even know how this happened.  At least it looks like I was having fun.

IMG_0085.JPG

Going along with the above photo, I confess I have tanorexia and my face can never be tan enough so I put on too much self-tanner and bronzer.

I eat frosting all by itself and when I make cupcakes I double the needed amount so I can have extra for me to eat.

Okay, okay now it is your turn.  Tell me a confession or two.

oh my God are we the same person? First of all, I have a draft post started titled "Confessions." Second, I eat more than my boyfriend. I am obsessed with bronzer and love sweets. and snacks. and always shop in my moms pantry. Okay I think thats all.

I have a bag of mini marshmallows hidden in the console in my car that I eat on my commute home. I'm too shameful to eat half a bag in one sitting in front of anybody other than my dashboard.

Umm, sometimes I deliberately mess up some displays at work, just to see if they are the same way when I go into work the next day--this means my co-workers were slackers!

I love to eat raw cookie dough, unbaked brownie mix, and the leftovers in the cake bowl. And I've never gotten sick from it!

I too, eat and drink way more than my boyfriend. And he doesn't know I weigh a mere 15 pounds less then him. Aggh!!!

I am thinking one again that we were seperated at birth... I eat cookies for breakfast on the regular. I think that wine is a fruit group. Anything eaten while standing doesn't "count." Anything eaten in halves, like pie or cake or donuts or candy also doesn't "count." I have noticed that by using this method I end up having to eat a very large dinner since I have not technically consumed anything throughout my day.... Hmmmmm....

Are you falling at Disneyland?!

1. I am a Disney nut, and actually considered cancelling my paper subscription because they ran an article that favored Disneyland over Disney World. I was seriouly cranky abut it for hours.

2. I am terrible about drinking water. I realized when I got home yesterday, that all I drank ALL DAY was one cup of tea, first thing in the morning.

3. I love eggnog beyond all reason, and can't wait until the Holiday's. I've already polished off two cartons.

4. Like previous commeter, anyting eaten while standing doesn't count. Nor does it count if you sneak a teeny piece off of something. No matter how many teeny pieces you sneak.

hahah! I eat more than my husband too! Also, that's a brilliant answer when you don't know the answer to a question.

My confession: I am a pretty big tomboy and if I'm acting girly, I'm probably faking it.

Enjoying some therapeutic beverages while catching up on the blogging world. (Isn't that enough of a confession?)

What! No photos of you with orange Dorito fingers!!! Hmm I gotta say my weakness is simply coffee.. I'm boring.

What a great list... might have to steal the idea.

Here's my confession - I generally dislike breakfast, but when my hubby's traveling, I frequent McDonald's and get two sausage burritos and a large diet coke with light ice. Multiple days if he's gone a while!

1) I just wrote on my facebook: peanut butter and jelly ANYTHING (taquitos, ice cream, on saltines, on bread, double decker sandwich, etc.)

2)Mt. Dew. I love Mountain Dew more than desserts or candy. There. I said it.

hahaha, your confessions are very similar to mine. But the hubs and i both drink from the (almond) milk carton and we have a specific spoon we use for PB and chocolate PB! I am a clean freak yet don't shower all day after teaching/training. Weird, eh?
Happy Dorrito eating!

I work at a bakery and I am the best "quality control" check they have. Heads of gingerbread men go missing, muffins mysteriously disappear, and small cakes get made just for me. Like today, the chocolate cake seemed a little dry and to make sure we did not have any unsatisfied customers, I took one for the team and made myself a piece with chocolate frosting. Yummy!

I go through one jar of peanut butter a week!
I typically work out 2x/day, and don't shower after one of these workouts.
My husband thinks I don't know how to make coffee, so he has been making it for me for the past 11+ years.
I pretend I don't know where the remote is, so that my husband will bring it to me.
I eat chocolate every single day.
OK...I'll stop here.

My confessions are way too juicy for this place. =D

But i like your blog and willingness to share!!I cannot abide by eating in bed, though. I just hate crumbs in the sheets!

Great post!

I have way too much coke today and not enough water. I think I've only had a sip or two of water today. Not good.

Haha, great idea! I confess that I consider a night of babysitting to be equivalent to a trip to the grocery store - I always bring stuff home with me! :)

Tanorexia-too funny but if you're confessing, give up your self tanner brand! I'm tired of wasting money!!

Also, I didn't even notice the hotdog in that pic, I was way more intrigued by that cute purse!

Oh God-Swedish fish-yeah those aren't allowed in this house; along with licorice, good n' plenty's, hot tamales....no self-control....

OK-my confession...After a long run I've actually eaten an ENTIRE bag of Snyder's oat bran pretzels and almost the whole jar of almond butter by myself. Also, completely unrelated but I've had the same base layer of toenail polish on since July and just paint over it occasionally.

I LOVE your posts!

candy corn at any time of day - check!
telling my students to "go look it up!" - all the time!
shopping in mom and dad's fridge - yup!
self-tanner - in my moisturizer!
falling down a lot - infamous for it in my family!
icing straight out of the tub? - YUM!

seriously, if I wasn't already a twin, I'd think we were separated at birth (although I'd complain to mom that you got the better looks!:) )

I love this post! I actually laughed out loud about when your students ask you questions, and you don't know the answer.

My confessions...
hmm..

I alwayssss lick the spoon, and the bowl, and everything my baked goodies touch.

and like crazy penguin, if I could be in a facebook relationship with diet doctor pepper, umm...my boyfriend may be pushed out.

lol....love it! Let's see:
I can down a whole pint of Haagen Daz or Ben & Jerry's ice cream in one sitting and not feel sick

Sometimes I wipe my mouth on my kid's shirt if I don't have a napkin by me

sometimes I wear my socks to workout two days in a row if I can't find any clean matches...ok...dirty socks...

I love pie or cookies for breakfast too.

I don't always tell my husband the exact amount I've spent shopping...just an partial estimate of some of what I've spent...

okay, that's enough! so much fun confessing!

The only chocolate candy I will eat is Dark Chocolate Kit-Kat bars- YUM! Since you can only buy the big 4 piece bar, I buy it, eat 2 sticks, and force my co-worker to finish off the rest.

I can only eat ice cream out of a coffee mug, i know, weird!

I never tell my boyfriend how much $$ my running clothes/shoes/races/toys really cost, I am pretty sure he would leave me! I always say I had a discount and leave it at that :)

If I want a second piece of wedding cake, I make my husband go up to get it for me.

I'm terrible at sharing ice cream and popcorn and find myself getting resentful if my husband steals even one bite. I'm working on it.

I just found your blog and it's my new favorite.

Love this! Confession: I pretend to like my job so often, if feels like more of a job than the actual job. Confession #2: I like staying home on Saturday nights. Confession #3: I can't remember the last time I stayed awake past 11 p.m.

I could eat two of those Grandma B's sugar cookies (the ones that have all that pink frosting on top) at 500 calories a piece and still have room for a third.

"If a student asks me a question I don't know I tell them they will learn more if they research it on the internet then if I was to tell them the answer." --This was my go-to move when I was student teaching and I was so frazzled I couldn't remember my own name.
Other confessions:
-I will rinse out and reuse the same mugs/cups/bowls/plates, etc for days on end.
-9 times out of 10, I will swallow my gum, just out of an involuntary reaction to chewing.
-Any long sleeve shirt I've owned more than 6 months has small holes along the edge from me pulling them down over my hands.
-I BY FAR out eat my boyfriend, too.

I eat more than my Billy, too! And I'm also a klutz- running into things all the time and I have abnormally long arms so they get in the way.

Wow, how did Billy snap a picture of you midfall? That is some talent. Don't worry I fall all the time too. My first day at my new job I feel outside on the sidewalk (tripped over these weird balls that fall from the trees) and ripped my pants open. Bloody knee and all. At least it forced them to be nice to me because they felt sorry for me.

Mmm, skittles! I love the tropical ones in the blue pack! Yum.

Utah looks so beautiful! I love those mountains. I have actually never visited anywhere with real mountains like that. I need to!
