I'm halfway through my physical therapy and finally got the green light to try out 1-2 miles this week. I haven't run in 3 weeks and am nervous but will definitely do it slow and see how it goes. Def planning on using my best frienemy---ICE!! Just trying to strengthen my hips, glutes, hammies, quads, and arches of my feet to get this plantar fasciitis outa the way! lots of stretchign too. My doctor has me doing the same strength training for my legs as yours is having you do on yours. (Wow. Did that even make any sense?) It was tough not being able to play, but I looked at recovery as a way to come back better and stronger! I did, and it was amazing! Keep it up girl! Take it one day at a time! Strength training and cross-training are crucial! My favorites are Spinning or any sort of biking (a stroll on my beach cruiser counts right?)and hiking! You can do this!
